"We have stayed in the area before and always admired the hotel Canyelles Platja from afar and are just about to leave after a wonderful stay. We had a sea view room, a lovely view of the bay and swimming pool. The hotel staff have been amazing, friendly and accommodating and the hotel is kept spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast was very good with a great choice of cold and hot food. The swimming pool was small but perfect for our needs. The road can be a bit noisy but the rooms are very quiet and air conditioned. The underpass from the hotel to the beach through the Sloop beach bar is very useful and the Sloop is a great place for a bite to eat or a drink with a view. We've had a fantastic stay and would love to return one day."

"The bed in the second bedroom on the lower level squeaks when you turn over, and the beds are too narrow for a married couple. The elevator smells musty. Otherwise, a fantastic view and a great pool. The beds were already made up. Thank you for that. Ms. Samos."

"I’ve walked past this little hotel many times but never stayed there until now . Simple and elegant in design . Comfortable rooms . Friendly and helpful staff . Gorgeous breakfast room with buffet style items but also freshly made eggs cooked to order . Access to Hostal Rom next door for a bar and restaurant for evening meals if you wish . Very close to the beach and the centre of Roses while being situated on a quiet street just minutes away . The balcony is very small but 2 people can sit there . Only one minor point is that the balcony chairs had peeling paint which made them uncomfortable to sit on ."
