"Nicely located in the center of town, the hotel offers nice rooms with fridge and microwave, free parking and a full bathroom including bathtub. A big lounge and outdoor space can be used by guests. The neighborhood is quite and safe, internet was fast and reliable. It is worth noting that the hotel doesn't offer any food or drinks other than breakfast, so you better come prepared or go out for dinner. We definitely found our place for future visits. Thank you!"

Overall dinner dishes were impressive as was breakfast during our 3 days stay. The HP center requires refreshment of equipment which is outdated. Lack of air conditioning is regretted. "

"On arrival, we were greeted by an enthusiast security officer who was awaiting our arrival😊 . After a bit of a drive, we were amazed that we had a personal ranger Lianet waiting to officially welcome us to Fin Foot. Timekeeping and close attention to detail from every single member at the lodge was so on point. Our check-in process at reception was done online so we just literally greeted and received big smiles and collected our room keys and were briefed by our ranger regarding all the activities and times etc. Everything at the lodge was just simply amazing from the friendly staff to excellent food to well-planned activities for both adults and children. The kids were so well entertained that you did not even have to try finding things for them to do. I get the NO TV … one does not need one after an enjoyable day out with your ranger in the bush or just relaxing at the lodge. It was amazing to see how much passion each staff member took in their portion of duties at Finfoot, and all were done with big smiles and offered extra kind gestures to all guests. "The resort is situated in a quiet area, offering a peaceful retreat. It was clean, and the host was kind enough to allow us an early check-in. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant—perfect for when you don’t feel like heading out. I’d highly recommend trying it. The chalets were spacious, providing plenty of room for everyone. The kids had their own beds, which was a big plus. However, I was disappointed that they didn’t provide basic essentials like water, tea, coffee, or sugar in the rooms—that was definitely a downside. On the bright side, you can enjoy a braai right outside your chalet and take a short walk to the waterpark for a refreshing dip. The presence of security guards also added to our sense of safety, making our stay even more comfortable."

"Wednesday 20th December 2023. I firstly want to say that I thought I was getting the deal of 2023 when I got the accommodation for less 56% breakfast included!!!!! I expected 5-star service. This was supposed to be my Christmas gift to my special lady, spa treatment and all. On arrival the reception was hugely impressive, and Desiree really wonderful. I received the key to unit 23 and immediately on entry heard the toilet running. could not stop it so changed to room 22. Rooms are old but clean. now we order lunch.... We get told that the delivery for the kitchen was not yet made, and not all meals available. After many attempts we finally ordered. My wife then poured salad dressing on her chicken salad only to find that the dressing had expired in February 2023!!! Betty told us that the salad dressing was bought 2 days prior. My wrap was heated AFTER the salad was put in so lettuce now like hot cabbage. Off to the Spa. Really delightful and the 2 ladies did a good job. Highlight of the stay, although easy to beat the rest. OK, so moving on. supper time. Nothing available on the menu still as stock not yet there. I take the only pasta dish available and the wife orders ribs. The only 2 things available according to Betty. Betty then returns and says the ribs are not available, but she can replace with pork chops. We accept.............. What do we get??? Pork rashers. Breakfast time........ Full buffet, only missing the steam fruit, hot Scottish porridge, croissants, jams, fruit salad and fruit preserves. instead of filter coffee, sachets of Nescafe were on offer. Now we butter our toast, and the butter is rancid!!!! I tell the waitress and the answer is "Oh OK". We then eat the toast without butter. 45 minutes later the hot breakfast arrives. I ordered baked beans, but I received Butter beans instead. I then went to check out and again found very helpful staff at reception and relayed my frustrations. The manager was called, and I again told my story. He in turn called the head chef and I again explained my frustration. he told me he was on duty and remembers the food order but then walked to the kitchen and came back with spareribs!! The bill clearly showed Pork chops, although rashers were given. I asked the manager on duty to hand my number to the owners to call me to avoid a negative review. Still waiting for the call. Now, I feel I should not have paid for the lunch or supper in light of the "breakfast included" which was absolutely shocking, as was all the other meals, but I did. I feel if anyone has pride in the service they offer, a phone call is not too much to ask. Not received. I am in the customer service game, and in fact handle ALL customer complaints regionally. I call every customer personally and make sure the complaint is resolved. I only expect what I offer myself. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!! "

"Safari Hotel (Orion) – 10/10 Ο άντρας μου και εγώ μείναμε από τις 3 Απριλίου 2026 έως τις 5 Απριλίου 2026 και άφησα πραγματικά εντυπωσιασμένο. Δωμάτια: Ευρύχωρα, άνετα και καλά διατηρημένα. Όλα πήγαν καλά και τα κρεβάτια ήταν εξαιρετικά. Καθαρότητα: Υπέρτατη. Το δωμάτιο και όλες οι κοινές περιοχές ήταν ασήμαντες κάθε μέρα. Τροφίμων: φρέσκο, νόστιμο και καλή ποικιλία σε κάθε γεύμα. Απολαύσαμε ιδιαίτερα την υπηρεσία πρωινού και δείπνου. Υπάλληλος: Ο Γενικός Διευθυντής και ο Διευθυντής πήγαν πάνω και κάτω για να μας κάνουν να μείνουμε ομαλοί. Ήταν επαγγελματικοί, ζεστοί και τακτοποιούσαν γρήγορα κάθε αίτηση. Αισθανόμασταν πραγματικά να παρακολουθούμε από την έξοδο και την έξοδο. Με βάση τα δωμάτια, την υγιεινή, τα τρόφιμα, και την εξαιρετική βοήθεια του Γενικού Διευθυντή και Διευθυντή, βαθμολογούμε με χαρά το Safari Hotel (Orion) 10/10. Θα επιστρέψουμε σίγουρα.
