La Siesta Salou Resort & Camping

3rd time visiting from Ireland, only a short 3 day stay this time. 2 adults 4 kids. This place never fails to deliver, absolutely fantastic place. Spotless clean, staff are wonderful very Friendly and helpful. First time seeing the new heated pool, excellent addition 👌 Looking forward to visit no. 4.

Beautiful campsite in the middle of town. Like a tropical paradise when you drive in the gate. 5 amazing pools with lovely flowers & plenty of trees for shade. Good size pitch, with electric & water, it was a little awkward to get our large caravan into but with the help of Naomi & a couple of our neighbors we got in. Excellent shower facilities, very spacious & spotlessly clean! Lots of entertainment & fun for kids, we went as a couple & weren’t able to enjoy the evening entertainment as much as we’d hoped as dogs are not allowed anywhere except on the pitch. No exercise area for dogs either. 😔 However, they had a lovely take away pizza & rotisserie chicken which would also deliver if required. We did have one meal in the restaurant which was delicious & we enjoyed the Bob Marley tribute band. 😋👍 Stephanie on reception was very informative about the site & the local area. Would definitely recommend & return again. 👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our family of 5 stayed in Caribe Club - great campsite, lots of pool choice, very clean. Excellent accommodation, probably one of the best mobile homes we have stayed in. Staff very friendly & helpful, security at entrance. Felt very safe at all times. Entertainment in the evenings but we didn't avail of it (more suited to younger kids) it was in Spanish (surprisingly no Entertainment in English) but didnt bother us. Supermarkets (Michaelangelo) only a 5 min walk away - great choice of food and price range....bike hire 5 mins away & reasonable priced. Long boardwalk / path for miles along beach [very narrow in parts) but opportunity to try neighbouring Cambrils which is a lovely place to spend a couple of afternoons/evenings (great choice of restaurants/gelato). All in all highly recommended this campsite

OMG!! Absolutely beautiful place, stunning pools x5 all new. Awesome entertainment and staff. I’ve stayed in hundreds of campsites but nothing quite like this, it is a true hidden gem, a paradise in the middle of town……ignore the drive in because it’s a tropical paradise once you’re here. Only annoying thing is that we aren’t allowed our dog on the outside terraces for beer and food, if we were allowed then I don’t think we’d have left, was booked for 2 nights but stayed 8 and I’m really fussy…..99.9% perfect. I will definitely recommend and we will definitely be back, genuinely sorry that we’ve had to leave xx Thank you so much

Very good sport courts and the buffet is excellent ,lots of alternatives. The only thing I would change is more development in the outside gym Like more equipment and a replacement ski machine because it is broken. The pools are interesting and unique but I love the massaging bubbles. The night time shows are entertaining to all the family.

Well from start to finish I can't say how good the whole place is all round from restaurant ,entertainment to pools especially the outdoor god it would send good wake up thrills through your body very refreshing I must say an the little shop 😉 espresso pod s to go with the espresso machine in the cabin 10 stars to all the friendly staff in the whole place 😁

It was our third stay at LaSiesta and as before everything was perfect! For us, it's like a second home and it feels like coming home. Upon arrival, the security guard knew our name, check-in was quick and smooth. Unfortunately, we forgot to do the express check-in online, but that wasn't a problem. We had the same pitch as in previous years - our wish was taken into account. The sanitary facilities, sinks, washing machines and dryers are always very clean. Our girls love the cleaner Veronika (I think we always called her Viktoria by mistake, shame on us). The new pool area and the small shop are a great addition! Our girls (4+2 years) went to the MiniClub for the first time this year and they love it there! It was a great pleasure to meet the staff from last year (the permanent staff) again! But of course, the new staff is also nice. The campsite is right in the centre, everything is reachable in a few minutes (pharmacy, shops, markets, beach, restaurants, bus stop, PortAventura & FerrariLand). But the campsite itself has everything to offer: a large pool area, mini club and playground for children, tennis court, volleyball, relaxation area with hammocks, gym area, various restaurants, entertainment program and shows in the evening. Some neighbors are also there every year and so friendships have already developed. Nothing is left to be desired at LaSiesta! Also we asked for a late check-out, which was absolutely no problem. Of course, we can imagine that it is more difficult in high season. What else is there to mention? A big thank you to the whole team for another fantastic three weeks holiday! We would especially like to thank Xavi, Sebas, Ana, Diego and Jimmy from Punta Cana and Tanja (or Tatjana?) - our daughter wanted to take her home - Roberto and everyone from the MiniClub. We hope to see everyone safe and sound again next year, because we are repeating guests and we are already looking forward to a great next time at LaSiesta!

Excellent as allways resort was ov high standard and all staff were very friendly had a brilliant week will be booking for next year the new addition s to site were brilliant especially the heated pool and rottisary loved it

Beautiful resort & lovely welcome from staff. Arrived early at 10am so baggage was held and I was later contacted at 1pm to say our accommodation was ready which was super (4pm is check in) we had a 2 bed premium bungalow and it was perfect for us, spacious for having 3 children. It was clean to a good standard but I do feel bits could be attended to such as the decking area could be washed down and the air vents need to be looked at, floors also need a deep steam clean as when you rub them with a cloth you see they are dirty (that dirt that isn't visible) overall though beds, couch etc were all in perfect condition. The air con & shower are both powerful. We had clean sheets & towels included in our package which are dropped off to the balcony on day 7 or 8 and you leave your dirty ones back outside for collection. If this included you can pay for a change. Daily cleaning is €16 pet day so I opted to keep on top of this myself. Facilities are great, super laundry area on the grounds but €4.50 per wash & €3 per dry worked up quite the little spend over 2 weeks with 3 kids and we had to dry as our bungalow got not sun, although don't as you are shaded by trees (great for privacy and kids napping etc but not for drying) you can hire an iron from reception for €20 which is refunded to you on check out when you return it. we requested a travel cot when booking and only on arrival when we asked for it we were advised it was €70 for the 2 weeks, it wasn't the most secure and the mattress was too big but we folded it and made it work, would consider bringing my own but we got through the 2 weeks and funny the baby slept through most nights compared to home!! The kids club is super, the staff here are amazing and my eldest son couldn't wait for 10am every morning. As we went in October evening entertainment was limited but when it was on it was really enjoyable. The later you go in October the more that seemed to be on, we are just home and this week over there is a full week of entertainment because of Halloween. Halloween starts on the 6th Oct, if you are going bring some costumes etc, we did not know this and my kids were a few of the only ones left out not dressed up. Families decorate their balconies etc too. The resort is decorated incredibly as is PortAventura, Halloween is huge there! The resort was quiet from 30 Sep - Oct 11th and 11th - 14th when we left it was so busy so I'm not sure if it's the same every year. Weather wise I don't know if we were lucky for October but it was anything from 26 - 29C up until about 11 then it was anything from 22 - 26C, still very hot, and night time getting a bit cooler so a little jacket / cardigan etc is needed. The food was amazing, best food we have ever had in a Spanish resort, something for everyone both at the buffet and bar menu and very reasonably priced. Our kids didn't like the breakfast though and we had paid for it to be included so we ate breakfast out half of the time but we ourselves had no com
