Just back from the hotel last week and absolutely loved it! I found the staff all really friendly. Our room was small but adequate with a view looking into the neighbouring hotel and could see red force from our balcony. A lot of people don’t rate the food here but we all really enjoyed it. My 10 year old couldn’t get enough of the churros. There were plenty of options for dinner and you could get fresh meat and paella etc cooked in front of you. We actually decided to stay at the hotel for dinner 6 out of 7 nights as we enjoyed it so much. The hotel is really clean. I always seeing the cleaners around cleaning the foyer and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. The entertainment at the hotel was ok although I thought it was quite late for the kids as the mini disco wasn’t on till 9 and adult entertainment on at 10. The location of the hotel is excellent. 10 min walk to portaventura and a 5-10 walk to plenty of bars and restaurants. Also you can get the bus right outside the hotel to tarragona which is a beautiful place. Also my son loved the cat at the hotel. He seen it every day and it was so friendly. I will definitely go back to villa romana, sad to be home now.

We stayed here from 14th-21st of May. 2 adults and 3 kids. Ages 12 and 10. This hotel was really good. We were half board. Most days food choices were really good. Something for everyone. Nightly entertainment for young kids which was great and a show for the adults. Fair play to Sergio, Raquel and Pepito. They were amazing!! We had the 2 interconnected rooms which was great. Aircon was broken in room 237 but other than that, very clean and comfortable. Hotel is also 5 mins walk from parks, beaches shops

Just returned from a 10 night stay and this hotel, overall, is great! Good points: 10 min walk to beach/shops 15 min walk to Portaventura Entertainment staff are brilliant!! The pool bar food was delicious! Freshly made and not expensive. Beds and bathroom clean - shower was powerful and has a glass screen (iykyk RE shower curtains abroad!) Pool area is excellent, plenty loungers and seating Water slides were brilliant and the extra activities in the big pool fab (inflatable slide and obstacle course some days) Daytime activities were great and not too frequent (I'm not a fan of a persistent team trying to get you up every 10 mins!) Restaurant was clean and staff always busy cleaning behind messy guests and always plenty crockery etc. Available. Not so good points: The food is average. Breakfast was great (omelettes cooked to order), lunch good and dinner was OK. They seem to have a smaller set of buffet tables for kids but wasn't used while we were there - shame as we expected mid-May to be into peak season. The pizza at the buffet is awful! The toast situation at breakfast is poor - it sounds great on paper that it's toasted over a fire but there was never toast ready the whole time we were there. There seemed to be a lack of staff working the pool bar and inside bar during the day. Could be an off-peak thing but there was frequently large queues for drinks during the day. 10 euro a day for a kettle in your room is crazy! I feel for those needing for babies! The room was mostly clean - the floors were usually not clean though, insane dust under beds and furniture - not sure it was mopped regularly enough. The kids club isn't as good as it could be - open for a few hours in a morning (a plus is they always did face painting!) But the room is small. The kids disco is also late (imo) at 9/9.30pm. However, the kids disco and the staff organising it were great! I particularly loved them chanting and parading around the dining room (although I'm sure other diners would hate it 🤣!) Some reviews mention queuing for dinner/breakfast. We did see this a couple of times during our stay. The queue can stretch across the lobby but we found it moved so fast that it barely takes 5 minutes to get into the dining room. The dining room staff work hard to turn tables around. So all in all, we enjoyed our stay! Yes the food could be improved but there is enough choice for everyone and we would consider returning!

Amazing hard working staff morning till late evening. Always pleasant and willing to help. Great with family’s and kids loads to do and be part of including bingo, football, darts water pool slide etc Always include every one. Clean and tidy hotel, pools also very clean.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the villa romana. It was a fantastic week, we went as a family of 11 using 4 rooms. We arrived at 12noon and our rooms were ready, we were checked in quickly and given all the details we needed for our stay. Every room was spotless, the maids came every day to replace towels and make the beds. The rooms are not very big but that didn’t matter to us as we had no intention of sitting in the room, it was just a place to go to sleep for us. We were full board and every meal we had was great, no complaints at all. The selection of food available was fantastic and they have really tried to cater for everyone (we had fussy people in our group and they never failed to find something they liked to eat) before we arrived I read the reviews and worried I would be constantly in a queue, this was not the case. The staff do a brilliant job of keeping the queues down and making sure you are happy. The staff in every part of the hotel were lovely. The entertainment in the hotel is amazing, my youngest daughter would have happily stayed in the hotel all day every day, from the water slides, the pool and the entertainer's everything was brilliant. The 4 entertainers are amazing with the kids and adults, everyone gets involved. The night time entertainment was brilliant for the kids and adults and there was something different every night, the poster is put on the notice board every morning to let you know what is going to be on that night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Amazing experience,the entertainers make me smile everyday, sergio was the best hahahaha Rakel Pepito and Darlin were all so funny! Nice staff,Lovely hotel rooms Over all its the best holiday I've ever been on. I will come back soon to push Sergio into the pool. I'm watching you.

Would definitely recommend staying here. Sergio and the entertainment team are second to none. They really know how to put a smile on your face. I will miss this experience me and the family have had and can not wait to come back. This was definitely one of the best holidays we have ever had.

Amazing hotel and holiday ! Great room, food and pool. Would definitely recommend. The entertainment staff made the holiday the best for us, expecially Sergio ! We can’t wait to go again. Not far away from portaventura which is in walking distance and also not far from the beach.
