We’ve enjoyed the weekend at Urban Valley. We visited with our small dog. Upon arrival they made us feel welcome! Dream, our dog had his own bed, a bucket full of goodies also for him to enjoy! The manager, Adrian is very kind and professional in his work. We enjoyed the afternoon tea at bar area close to the reception, and we were served by Peter, another hotel gem! Welldone, we will surely re-visit! Breakfast was delicious and rooms very clean and neat! 10/10 👏Thankyou Adrian and all the Team

I am writing this review on the evening before we leave for home in the UK We have stayed at Hotel Valentina for one week From the moment we entered reception the service has been exemplary. The hotel is modern, well presented and spotlessly clean. Everyone of the hotel staff we have encountered from reception, bar staff, breakfast staff and cleaning staff have been polite, efficient and eager to please. I cannot fault the service. We stayed half board and took our meals at The Avenue Restaurant, the food has been amazing and the service before the weekend was excellent, since then service has not been quite so good but this restaurant has only been open in this location for a week so some issues whilst bedding in are bound to take place. Rebecca, Maria and Andrea at the Avenue were delightful and did their level best to ensure we had a good experience but it appeared they had too many tables to serve on at any one time, that said the quality of the food made up for any shortfall. A very big well done and thank you to all at Hotel Valentina, you were a credit to yourselves and your company and superb ambassadors for Malta. Thank you

Excellent property with great location, extremely clean and comfortable, super friendly staff. Teo was extraordinary! He was a true example of excellent hospitality. He made our trip more exciting in Malta by guiding and giving us tips about the city and the attractions to cover in 72 hours. He made sure that everything was arranged for us accordingly. I couldn't thank him enough for the excellent level of service he had rendered. We will surely visit H Hotel on our next holiday and expect that will recommend your hotel to our family and friends.

I was very happy that they treated me kindly and courteously without showing any dislike at all, even though my understanding of English was not good at all.

This hotel is brand new with well appointed room with a small balcony, perfect to admire the great sea view. The pool area is fantastic with a great view and the breakfast was pleasant, outside by the pool. The coffee and quality of some of the food could be improved to encourage clients to stay for dinner. It is very closed to the beautiful church of Mellieha and uphill so not for everyone if you don't have a car. It is away from the rest in a residential area, which is what I like. Make sure you check it if you want to stay in a smaller hotel in the village,

Great service-clean hotel This is the first review I have written for a hotel The hotel was great !the reason I am writing this review is because of the hotel staff. This was an first visit to Malta and with their help.suggestion and gudisncs we had a great experience. Our room was quite opacious and enough storage for a phot stay.It was another clean .Breakfast was excellent If returning to Malta ,we will stay at The window hotel again!

We always book at gilluru hotel either a weekend break or a day by the pool the food is extremly fresh and very tasty

Perfect location. Clean room. Great service. Good view. But.... I visited in March when it was very cold. No heating and the sliding door had many gaps where the wind whistled in so my two nights were very cold and no additional blankets.

Starting with the information - we stayed at So City as a young couple (who arent particularly into nightclubs/bars) to see Matla for the first time over a week. I have given this a 'benefit-of-the-doubt' rating due to the hotel being incredibly new. We picked So City Hotel because of the value, it was incredibly well priced. I'd imagine this is a strategy due to it being so new but it was certainly well worth the price we paid. On to the hotel as a whole - I feel this is definitely aimed toward capturing people coming to Malta for some night life. Its positioned so that no more than 10 seconds from leaving the lobby, you can be in a bar, and their are some nice bars surrounding. That said, we werent there for that - but this location also meant that finding an evening meal, or a quick early night drink was incredibly easy. Exploring the island was also very easy from here, Valletta was a very short journey, and as we had opted to rent a car, there was a carpark about 5 minutes walk away (Pengardens) which is reasonably priced for over night parking, and we never struggled for a space. The room was very comfortable, and the mattress was perfect and bedding very soft and comfortable. Our upgraded room was also incredibly spacious. The theming is a nice touch and makes the room a bit more characterful and individual. Staying on the 7th floor, there was minimal noise at night, altough id be concerned if we needed to keep the window open.... The black out curtains were also amazing for keep the room dark for a little bit of extra sleep. Constructive criticism for the room would be: The shower tempurture is difficult - the hottest setting is insanely hot (my other half loves hot showers but this was too much for her also) and it wouldnt go cold, just cooler, it also seemed to get colder through out the shower and you found yourself adjusting. There is not a lot of storage at all for longer stays. This is perhaps a by product of it feeling aimed towards 'nightlifers' who might stop 3 nights or so. I would perhaps ask reception for additional hangers if you have plenty of clothes for a longer stay. The mini fridge, altough useful, is not big enough to put larger water bottles in, which can be annoying. The aircon unit is situated in a place which means it blows directly at the bed. I tried to play with the control but there was no way to adjust it that I could find. Im trying to cool the room, not refridgerate myself. The timer on the aircon also didnt seem to work, so setting it the blow for 30 mins whilst i went to sleep just didnt seem to work. The TV is not a full smartTV which is a shame. Just channels and an internet browser, which are never nice to navigate around.... On to other notes: Breakfast is just what you need. Its not an all out buffett where there is everything you could dream of, but there is more than enough and a few items cycle so you can expect a slightly different breakfast each morning. The service was exelent by very professional and helpful staff. Food (breakfast) was very good and well organised. Inroom facilities is also very excellent and the room was literally spotless. The A/C really was the cherry on the cake. I been to a vast number of hotels in Malta and this is really one of the top choices for me.
