Our relatively spacious room was practically decorated and furnished, with a good double bed, desk & chair, fridge, wardrobe & safe, flat screen TV, and a small private bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. All was spotlessly clean. No coffee & tea facility in the room. At €90 a night including breakfast, the hotel is slightly overpriced. We came on a weekday in Omicron January and were the only guests. The buffet breakfast is OK with ample variety and is served from 08:00 to 10:00. We had a balcony with a view of the neighbourhood and the nearby hills. With an open door you hear the traffic of the B465 road. Free internet and parking in front of the door. We recommend Gästehaus Walter to anyone who seeks a good night’s sleep and who appreciates visiting a charming Swabian historical town with a nice spa: the Alb-Thermen.
