Just got back from a stay in Greece in which I spent 2 nights at Charisma Suites, recommended to me by a friend who stayed there on her honeymoon. Before Charisma, I did 2 nights at another hotel further down the Caldera (thought it would be nice to get different vantage points, and the other hotel I could book on points and save some $). Overall, Charisma was fabulous and I would definitely return in the future if/when I wanted to splurge again. We did night 1 in the honeymoon suite, and then night 2 in the windmill suite (how could I not book the windmill?!). The honeymoon suite was great, we were in one directly below the windmill which was appreciated/convenient for moving our luggage. The private plunge pool was beautiful, and the view is spectacular. The windmill was definitely a unique experience! The stairs are super steep so obviously wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues. It's also a very small unit (not surprising); we had to keep all of our bags on the first level because the second level had very little room for anything else besides the bed. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the rooms had a bottle of wine and fresh fruit waiting for us upon our arrival. We also were offered a refreshing welcome drink upon our arrival. The sunset view is probably the best you can get in Oia--totally unobstructed. And there's a hot tub/pool on the back side of the windmill so you can watch the sunset from the tub/pool. There's also lounge chairs. Because of the layout of the caldera, it's hard to tell exactly which hotels are which (everything is white!), but on our second day, we finally asked someone to show us where the communal pool/restaurant space was, because from our room(s) at the top of the cliff, we couldn't see them/had no idea where they were. It turns out the hotel runs up/down the caldera quite a bit--it was a WORKOUT getting down to the main pool/restaurant area. We didn't end up using these at all, but if we had stayed longer than 2 days, I would've liked to! Because we had our own pool, we didn't really need the other one, and because breakfast is served directly to our rooms, there was no need to go to the restaurant (I had booked dinners elsewhere outside of the hotel). Overall the location within Oia is very convenient; it's at the very end of the caldera and close to a ton of restaurants/shopping. Great for sight-seeing! The staff was very friendly and hospitable, and a special shoutout goes to Thanos who was so helpful emailing me ahead of my stay, providing lots of good restaurant/logistical information. I was particularly impressed that he took it upon himself to update a dinner reservation for me (since it was early in the season and the restaurant wasn't open to take reservations yet, I was unable to do it when I had wanted to, but he followed up on his own to make sure the reservation was made!) White Pearl Villas was wonderful! As we arrived, we were proactively greeted by a member of the staff. He attended to our baggage and walked us down to the Aqua Villa Dream room. The room wasn’t on the highest part of Oia, but it was near a great terrace which had lawn chairs and which we used for photos. Our room has a personal terrace as well with a comfortable chair, but the view from there wasn’t the best. As we entered the room, we saw that we’d been given a complimentary bottle of wine as well as a bottle of water. The staff member gave us a quick tour of the room, which was interestingly shaped and carved into the cliff. It felt very unique and cozy. We had a smart television that we used for Netflix, as well as a refrigerator. The room also had a jacuzzi, though we didn’t use it as we were visiting in August and it was already quite warm outside. The plunge pool had a cool window that opened to the ocean, though. The bathroom was a bit small, but the shower was good quality with strong water pressure and consistent temperature. The staff added me on WhatsApp for easy communication which was GREAT. The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets as well as a hollow headboard which was good for putting our phones and other things over night. Everything in the room was cleaned when we arrived. There was also a cleaning service when we were away during the day. The air conditioner was strong and there was a dehumidifier as well. There were plenty of towels and outlets, though we of course needed a converter for our American electronic devices. There was a coffee maker with easy to use pods, as well as 2 pairs of soft white slippers. We did not try the breakfast or the massage service. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. My only wish is that the view directly from our room was a bit better, as the room is tucked into the mountainside. However, there were nice photo spots all around us, so we only had to take 20 steps to get a nice view of the sunrise or sunset in comfy chairs. If I return to Santorini, I will absolutely stay here again!

This was the most exceptional experience that we've ever had as a couple and we have stayed in Shangri-La's in other destinations. Georgia was a dream to have managing the suites, she was attentive and went out of her way to be helpful. She was thoughtful, honest, had a great sense of humor and knew what were looking for. She gave us excellent advice and helped us curate the best experience in Santorini. The hotel itself was worth the money - the views through the glassed in balconies and breakfast on the patio are something that we will remember for our lifetime. Georgie helped us find excellent authentic restaurants, directed us to vistas to see amazing sunsets and booked us an exceptional catamaran sunset cruise. We would go back here in a heartbeat. Facts: 1. The hotel is a homestay. Scattered in different corners of Oia, but the address on Google Maps appears on the main street of Oia. 2. The room the boss let us stay in was not the one in the photo of the Ctrip order, and the view was much worse. We disagree. After several tosses and turns, I finally checked into the room I ordered. 3. The room is a windmill attic, very humid, the water from the dehumidifier can be full every day, the damp and musty smell from previous guests does exist and continues to be serious. 4. The staff are Albanians who come to work in Greece, they are simple and kind. 5. Breakfast is prepared and delivered every day, you can make a request, whether it is satisfied depends on the mood of the boss. Conclusion: The price/performance ratio is average, and the character of the boss is questionable. This homestay is not recommended.

The room and the scenery are beautiful! You can sit outside the room and watch the sunrise and sunset. The room facilities are good, there is a bread machine and coffee capsule machine, and slippers! The fly in the ointment is that the bathtub is outdoor, not very clean, can't take a bath. And the mini bar has to charge for everything (all so expensive hotels TT) 🔔 Service: Especially good! The staff's attitude is super good! Check in to give us an upgraded room, say hello in advance to the type of breakfast we want to eat, and send it to the room the next day. Also sent us a glass of champagne per person! And because the Oia road is very difficult to walk, we also asked the hotel to help send our luggage to the station, the service is really 💯! 🧹 Hygiene: Very clean and clean! The whole room is fragrant, the bed is super soft, very comfortable!
