This may be the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in during my time in Japan; the design is modern, the buffet is wonderful (although a little pricy) and the view of Odori park was great. I especially enjoyed the bath, as it was separate from the toilet, which is rare for smaller hotel rooms in this country. The staff were very kind and understanding, as I had asked for my luggage to be held until 3 pm but I didn’t retrieve it till much later with no issue. I stayed in the standard queen room and got more than I expected. Would recommend heartily!

It is located in the centre of Sapporo City. 10 minutes walk North you will find JR Sapporo Station and 10 minutes South you will find the busy commercial district of Susukino. If you are travel from the airport, the airport Liner bus stop is right in front of the hotel but the journey will take more than 90 minutes as there are quite a few stops before arriving at the hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Be sure to book the breakfast if available. It costs 3300Yen if pay separately at the hotel but the breakfast at the Northern Terrace is one of the best buffet breakfast I have ever tasted.

家族3人で1泊しました。 エキストラベッドを入れると少し部屋は狭いですが(スーツケースを広げるとスペースが無くなる)、最近改装されたのかとても綺麗でした。 大浴場があります。露天風呂もありますが景色は見れません。ですが外気に当たり気持ち良いです。大浴場もこまめに清掃されて清潔でした。 繁忙期で宿泊客が多いからか、チェックイン時間がキッチリ決まっており、「4時にチェックインのお客様〜お待たせしました〜チェックイン開始します〜」と案内されました。皆さんロビーで待機されていました。 レストランは使用していませんが、朝食の雰囲気、とても良かったです。 札幌駅からは少し遠い(徒歩20分くらいでしょうか)ですが、のんびり歩いて、大通りやすすきのなど札幌市内の散策も良いかと思います。

The hotel reminded me of New York City's Empire State Building with the Art Deco motif. It's an old classic look which I found to be very appealing. Location wise it's less than 10 minutes on foot from Sapporo station. There are a number of tourist, shopping, nightlife and restaurant spots all within walking distance. The view from the room was spectacular and everything was very clean. The breakfast, especially the waffle station, was delicious and offered a wide variety of western and Asian dishes.

The hotel is old. Remember, don't talk or work with the old man staff of hotel, all of them are slow and low efficiency. If you need any assistance, please Remember to find young hotel staff. Two times of electricity fuse were broken and one times of toilet flush was out of order during my stay. In general, not good !

We had a terrible experience with the services that the free bottled waters were only for IHG members and we are NOT informed beforehand or while we checked in. And the hotel officers were really indifferent when we tried to communicate about this isssue. We were told “NO one could get bottled waters unless he/ she is a IHG member”. We haven’t been treated so around any hotel in Japan or in the world under any hotels groups. This could be the worst experience we had over a small issue due to the ill communications with hotel service team. Very disappointed on such discriminating hotel policies and we would not be able consider IHG group in Japan anyhow. It was a cozy hotel with good location. But facilities are aged.

We stayed for 2 nights. The location was good and it was good for the bus toilet. However, there was a disappointment in the details. Folding chairs with luggage? The thing was small and I could only put a travel back. I wanted to put souvenirs and backpack because the room itself was small in a single and ... sorry. The nightwear was shrunk by washing! ? I asked the front desk to bring a large size because I was small enough to have a large sleeve. Because it was a bath, I asked you to hang it on the door knob, and I asked you to ring the bell so that you could see that you brought it when you hanged, and knock. I didn't hear the door knocking at all, so I opened it gently and hung on the door. No, no, I have to tell you. I was surprised by the lack of imagination or lack of consideration ... less 々. We got a complimentary upgrade to a large room with more amenities like washing machines and a simple kitchen. It was a nice surprise and we truly enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent - convenient to the main shopping area with plenty of F&B choices. The sound insulation is good and we didn’t hear any noise ate late night. The bathing area is nice and clean. We highly recommend this hotel.

As mentioned by many, the location is ideal, smack in the city center. Near Odori park, lots of restaurants around, shops and things to see. To make justice to the hotel, despite not having its own car park, now it's possible to add into the bill the parking service in a multi storey car park just opposite the street (some reviewer mentioned in 2017 that the hotel had no car park, but facts change along the time, so the truth is that now there is a parking facility, as close as possible, just need to cross the road). Now, being a good place and having a decent room (not spacey but it seldom happens in Japan), would make it an ideal place to choose, being even fairly priced, wouldn't it? Well, there's a but (as in the title of the review): one of the worst logistically organised bathrooms that I've ever found - and I've seen many in 27 years of travelling around Asia. There a not-so-tiny step to take from the aisle and the bathroom. As you try to enter, the WC occupies almost all the space till the wall. So either you try to jump over it (starting from a lower level, remember the step?) or I set one foot in the minimal space available and then you turn like a classical dancer to try to bring the rest of your body (other leg) inside and step in front of a weeny sink. Same ordeal to get out of the bathroom. Imagine doing this when you're still moist, after a shower. Maybe I was just unlucky with the room I was assigned to. But there should not be any architech who studies - and then decides that it's good enough to use it without being a breakdancer - such an unpractical configuration of bathroom. The other - minor - thing, is this (but it does not really bothers me much): having placed the ”make my room” magnetic sign to the door in the morning, i came back at night to find an odd black bag hanged to the outer handle. those were two clean towels. Nothing had been touched inside the room, bed undone as I left it, dirty, damp towels still in the tub. Well, an odd interpretation of what make my room means... Other than those two things, a good place to be. I was there for 3 nights and I paid the same amount (for the whole stay) of one night in Tokyo (ok, it's Roppongi and I know it's as dear as hell!). But if you get there, make sure to see the bathroom configuration, before checking into a room!

I asked for 2 consecutive nights at a former Sunroute, a businessman's favorite hotel in Tanukikoji 6-chome, and eco-cleaning. 5300 yen per night. There is a trouser press in the room and a Family Mart on the first floor, which is convenient. The building is old. Welcome drinks are alcohol, soft drinks １ cup free. Breakfast is a 2500 yen buffet. The word of mouth was good, so I tried it for a day. Seafood is delicious, but some things such as tempura are served in a warm state, so I quit on the second day.

Very conveniently located with it's own carpark (however our rental car was too big and we had to park at the outdoor carpark just across the road). Staff were all courteous and helpful and I love that we have our own washer/dryer inside the room (and detergent is provided too). Will stay there again if I am in Sapporo.

Location is superb. 5 minutes walk to Odori Station with full metro connection. Also near Odori Park and TV tower. Room size is just be right for 2 but for too small for triple sharing. Airport Express bus stop is also a few minutes walk away. My ceiling lights above writing and coffee table were out of order, informed receptionist and the answer was negative, means it's always like that. We brought our own toothbrush instead of using those provided but was taken away by the housekeeper. We replaced it but the next day again they disposed it. Otherwise the hotel is ok to book.

It is a accommodation that renovated the place where it was originally 々 Pachinko store, but I didn't feel much leftover. Seven eleven is currently on the first floor, and shopping is convenient. The front desk is on the second floor, and if you press ↑ from the first floor to the elevator, the button on the second floor seems to be automatically pushed. The lounge and breakfast venue were also on the second floor and were wide 々. Automatic check-in check-out machine is also installed, and at the time of the stay, the inn was explained in the corresponding hall at the counter, but the out is a machine, and it is smooth if there is no additional adjustment. The room floor is 3 ~ 6 floor. Great location and near train station and several shops and restaurants. Modern and nice hotel. Has a restaurant at the 2nd floor where check-in area is also located. Check in and check out were fast. Hotel staffs were generally friendly and accommodating. Left my jacket in the room and came back for it and got it. Downside: No daily cleaning of room but you can request for supplies like water and toiletries and new towels. We also requested for a late check-out but staff on duty was not very friendly and turned down my request even after explaining my side (we woke up late) and despite staying and paying for 5 days. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and overall I was impressed with the cleanliness, prime location, and the modern feel of the rooms. However, I feel compelled to share a concern regarding the staff's attitude during my stay. It's a shame because I believe this hotel has tremendous potential to offer an exceptional guest experience. The negativity from the staff had a noticeable impact on my overall satisfaction. On a particular occasion, I overheard two staff members conversing in Japanese in front of me. To my surprise, their discussion included a negative comment about my request for water, despite a prior assurance from another staff member that I could request water at any time. This incident was disappointing, as the unfriendly demeanor of the staff members not only contradicted the positive image of your hotel but also left me annoyed and upset as a guest. Understanding the language used in the conversation only added to the unfortunate experience.

The location is very good, just 2 minutes walk from Susukino station. Since the price was 2,000 yen per night, I honestly thought it would be okay to sleep in, but in addition to a complete shower set including towels, there was also a safe large enough to fit a bag at the feet and a bedside area. There was a safe large enough to store computers and electronic devices, so security was perfect. I think the interior is stylish and nice, but if I had to say, it's built with a lot of simple plywood and there's almost no soundproofing, so you can hear snoring, the sound of doors closing, the sound of people talking on the phone, and the sound of going up the stairs (the two above and below). (It has a tiered structure) was starting to sound boring, and even though I was taking sleeping pills, I was woken up many times, so I thought that if you are a light sleeper, you are bound to suffer from a lack of sleep. However, the quality is really great for 2000 yen. If I have a chance to come to Sapporo, I will stop by again.
