Modena by Fraser Putuo Shanghai

Good value for family travel especially the double beds and fully equipped kitchen. Hotel is a bit old and the bathroom sliding door needs a replacement. I was almost trapped in the bathroom when the sliding door was jammed. Managed to squeeze myself out from the gap. Maintenance guy was quick in responding but couldn’t fix the problem onsite. We ended up having an open bathroom with four inmates 🙁. Location wise is good, metro is next door, there are many eateries within walking distance.

2nd time here and its always super nice. I love how friendly the staff are and they're very proficient in English too. The location is convenient since it's next to a bunch of restaurants. A little far from the malls though.

Location was good! Front desk was very helpful and assisted with taxi booking. Metro station is near so it is very convenient to commute to all the sightseeing location.

We arrived at Modena Fraser Putuo in the evening. The staff are very friendly and they are always keen to assist. Laundry is very clean and Gym is well equipped. Both are in level 2. There are many eateries and a supermarket within 2mins walk from the hotel. I will recommend this hotel or come and stay with them in the near future.

We had the best stay in Modena by Fraser - Shanghai. It provides comfort like you are at home. Complete amenities. Free breakfast for 2 is already included. Free Shanghai Film Museum tickets, too. Front desk representatives speak English fluently. They are also very accommodating. Location si very near the Metro Station (Langao Road). Breakfast is satisfying. My first time to book in trip.com. Highly recommended app and hotel 😊

It was a enjoyable stay at this service apartment though it is located a bit far from the Pudong airport. The taxi ride was about 50-60mins on a busy day. The check in and check out was a breeze. The apartment has a loft style design and layout is different from my 2 stays. The one with 3 split levels are a bit cumbersome if you have a heavy luggage of clothings, You need to carry the heavy bag up 3 short flights of steps. hahaha! It is no deal breaker but a point to take note. The breakfast selection was good. There is a subway station within 5 mins walk away and I was able to connect to major lines with ease. Within the vicinity there are cafes and food outlets. However do take note that shops close at 10pm. There are several convenience stores nearby that opens late hours. Overall it was a pleasant experience with the customer service staff. They are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment if distance from the airport isnt an issue for you.

It is a little bit far from the city centre but we enjoyed the peace from the city hustling. There is a train station, convenience stalls, supermarket and eatery nearby. It is more like a service apartment. It is very cosy with simple kitchen equipment such as induction cooker, sink and microwave. The bed on the 2nd level was very comfortable but the 1st floor's one was quite hard, we needed to ask for an extra blanket to make it easier to sleep. The staff were really helpful. Especially kudos to Ella, who helped us with the food ordering system and parcel collection. If travelling in Shanghai, this accommodation is highly recommended!

Booked again for the nth time as this place always hits the spot on being budget and leaving a great impression to guests. I usually skip the breakfast option when booking since there's a wealth of restaurants at the nearby shopping arcade, or the metro food court.
