Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Tangzhen

This hotel is really close to 2 malls (so plenty of food and whatever else) and a metro station. The metro is 8 stops direct from the main airport, and they offered free shuttle service to Disney. The area felt safe, and clean. Breakfast is amazing! Lots of Chinese options, and some western as well. Coffee maker, great juices, and a made to order noodle area. We used the pool. It’s part of an attached gym, so not a normal hotel Rec pool, but it worked for us. We did have to go through a weird door on the 2nd floor with voucher from the front desk. It took multiple trips to figure that out. We used the free laundry, and that was helpful. Basically, amazing location for what we needed, and phenomenal breakfast.

Walking distance from Metro Tangzhen Station (Exit 3). Various restaurants nearby. 盒马生鲜 Supermarket right downstair at the opposite building. Cafe and convenience store nearby. Good breakfast and helpful front desk. Must try the coffee and the wanton soup. 30 min to Disney Metro Station. 25 min to Pudong Airport by e-hailing with cost about RMB150

We waiting six hours for make the check in and no one provide a new room , but the hotel have a good conditions , clean and warm

Modern and clean room, spacious enough, plaza and resto nearby, MRT walking distance, good breakfast.

Its easy to spot the hotel as soon as you get out of Metro, any exit. The metro opens up in a nice mall with Star Bucks. Then the real challenge starts. Swim across the amazon river with crocodiles in it. Until you reach another mall in which the hotel is located in. Which is also very nice and i greatly recommend the Decathalon Sports Store. The food variety is endless. So many dishes. But my taste buds weren’t working. Stayed there four nights. Each morning I felt Something wrong with my tongue until my friend invited me to his breakfast at five star hotel nearby where the food was really amazing. The staff is amazing. Nobody asked me for any money or credit card. Even at check out they said good bye with such a nice smile until i had to remind them that I really felt like paying money. Overall, Shanghai is as amazing as always. A nice stay just adds on to that experience.

Clean and modern room! Wide spread for breakfast and it was rather delicious!

Great time

The location was good because metro line 2 is very close just 300 meters, also Disney resort and wild animal park is not too far, if you use taxi price would be less than 80 yuan. Workers are so polite and helpful. In other words, the hotel's service was great.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It can easily be reached from Shanghai Pudong by metro during working hours. It was cool to check out Decathlon next door. The swimming pool in the associated fitness club has a great view when you reach the window if you swim on that side.
