Home Inn (Shanghai Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street Metro Station)

Unexpectedly dirty. This hotel should be a gold mine based on its location, but it seems the owner does not care at all about its upkeep. The carpets are barely tacked to the ground and are absolutely filthy. There are bugs crawling about. There is mold in the shower, which could be easily fixed with some bleach. The wall paper is haphazardly put on the walls like a badly wrapped gift . And apparently there is no security as there is ************ solicitation going on. A business card was slipped under our door within 10 minutes of our arrival. We are traveling as a family with children. Yuck!!!

Strategic location if you use the metro but when you use Didi it’s kinda confusing. Small room but good for one night and I got the room on the ground floor which is easy if you bring any bulky luggage. Unfortunately the staff couldn’t speak English but with translator, they can receive my request for a wake up call.

Great location, need some cleaning and furniture check

Location is not bad. There are subway station and many local restaurants near the place. But hotel is old. Room also is old.

Hotel is old needed some refreshments. Very closed to Nanjin Road and metro.

Very good location, under 5min from Nanjing Road and metro. Several food places and stores very close and easy to find. Room was small, but ok. Clean towels and bedsheets a bit dirty floors. Good air contidion, even somebody smoked next room or on the hallway. No soundproof, so take a earplugs!

Super location. A bit old and run down but clean. Very close to subway and many restaurants nearby.

The location is great to access important tourist places in Shanghai. However, the hotel and service is not good. The room is smelly, the toilet is fine but doesn't look clean and very uncomfortable to use. The furniture is old and dusty. You have to ask for toothbrush (it's not ready in the room)

The best location with a good price.
