For a quick airport stop, it hits the spot. · Convenient transport: If you skip the shuttle, ordering a taxi directly from the hotel to the airport is super easy and fast. Cons to note: · Elevator & shuttle crowds: The biggest inconvenience is the morning checkout rush. Everyone is heading to the airport at the same time, so the elevators get jammed, and the queue for the bus shuttle can be crowded. It's absolutely fine for the price. Just leave your room 15–20 minutes earlier than you think you need to, or simply grab a taxi from the front door to avoid the shuttle chaos. Would stay again for an early flight.

I chose to stay at this hotel the night before my early morning flight. The Holiday Inn is perfectly located between T1 and T2, connected by a walkway, so no worries about bad weather. We had lunch and dinner right at the terminal, and there's a 24-hour 7-Eleven nearby. The hotel service was also very thoughtful. We were concerned about heavy rain, so we arrived at the hotel early, around 12 PM. The front desk was kind enough to arrange our room for an early check-in. Our room was on the garden side, very quiet, and I slept wonderfully – absolutely no noise, great soundproofing. In the morning, it took me only 10 minutes to walk from my room to T1 check-in counter C at 5 AM. I completed self-service baggage drop-off by 5:18 AM, everything went smoothly!

Service: The front desk service was excellent. I forgot my room card, and the staff personally took me to unlock my room. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. Overall, I think this hotel offers the best value for money in Shanghai. It's also very close to the airport and provides a free shuttle service. Highly recommend!

Booked their best room. The perk was the fiery red sunrise over the terminal every morning. Everything was pretty standard, except for the air conditioning. It was really ineffective, only able to cool down to 26-27 degrees Celsius, no matter how you set it. Now I understand why foreign guests tend to give lower ratings. In nearly 40-degree weather, walking into a room where the AC wasn't on and then waiting an hour for it to slowly cool down, only to reach 27 degrees, is frustrating. I ended up pulling out the duvet and just using the sheet at night.

When checking in, the staff proactively helped with our luggage, and every little detail made us feel so welcome. The room was very clean, the bedding soft and comfortable, and housekeeping was top-notch. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the fruit was fresh. You can also store your luggage at the hotel after checking out and still enjoy the dining, transportation, and luggage storage services. On the first floor, you can even make handmade fans for free. I'm extremely satisfied with the hotel's fantastic butler-style service. Although visiting Disneyland was quite tiring, staying at this hotel made me feel so warm and right at home.
