Iberotel Palace - Adults Only 16+

Brilliant service from talented multi-lingual staff. Clean beach with all areas including pools and grounds well maintained. Food and drink more than plentiful.

Stayed for a week and I can’t thank the staff enough they work hard very polite and make you feel welcomed the room was lovely and clean looked out on to the pool ground floor 2110 which I would request again overall the whole complex is very clean lovely clean beach food at the beach bar was my go to for lunch breakfast was ok evening meal was ok the 2 other restaurants Ali Baba and Toscana you can visit was good food as well you can only use the once a week as they are À la carte was my first time to Egypt I will definitely be back next year can’t fault the place very relaxed evening entertainment was low key the entertainment team spoke every day I would say that the mosquito’s are a problem that’s the only downside to it which has not put us off from travelling back there nothing was problem for any of the staff working there.

Just back from a week at this wonderful hotel, the staff are amazing the hotel is beautiful had room 3113 by the lower pool which I could not fault for location as I have mobility issues, the weather was hot and I mean hot the food in the blue marine was always hot so I can’t understand people complaining about it being lukewarm The staff are so attentive nothing to much for them the location is great special mention to all the staff at the blue marine excellent service from all of you, the guys on reception my room cleaner Mohamed Reda and Mr Saleh Swelam a gentleman true to his word, the guy on the beach who brings you the mattress for your lounger and all the life guards Mohamed the pool bar guy he works tirelessly to keep people topped up and the Captain of the speed boat that takes you to the reef what a guy, do not hesitate to book this hotel one of the best I’ve been to in my 19 trips to Egypt I shall definitely be returning for many years to come Thank you Iberotel palace for making my holiday so special

We recently stayed at the Iberotel Palace for a week at the start of June. We could not thank the amazing staff enough for how much they looked after us! Mohammed at the beach bar was exceptional and would constantly walk round making sure everyone had a drink. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy throughout our entire stay with fresh large bottles water being delivered every day. The food was amazing and everything was freshly made including the salad bar which was the best bit. We did a day out on a Yacht which we booked through the diving centre within the hotel and it was beyond incredible. We went to Tiran Island and two other places to snorkel along the coral and they also provided a bbq and drinks on board the boat which was lovely. Straight across from the hotel is the old town less than a minute walk which has various shops. Overall our week at this hotel brilliant and I hope we return in the near future. Thank you all!

This is the best resort I have ever stayed in. All the staff go above and beyond to meet all your needs. The resort is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Most staff can speak English and the ones that can't still help regardless. There is a lot of food choice, not the same everyday. The quality of the food and the care they take in presenting shows how much effort has been put into making your experience the best possible. Stayed in a Superior Queen room with a garden view, the room was very spacious and very comfortable. The garden and all areas around the resort are beautifully maintained. Plenty of activites going on daily, there is something for everyone. Staff don't expect a tip but when given they accept humbily. You receive the same attention whether you tip or not. I would highly recommend the resort to anyone looking for some winter sun and a place to relax and re-charge.

Overall this was a great experience. The staff were kind and food was always delicious and there were lots of options to choose from. there was always an available place to eat something. The only issue I had was with cleanliness of hotel rooms and towels.

I will write about my experience at this hotel. What I didn't like (-) and what I liked (+) from my point of view. Let's start with the minuses: - the biggest minus is the food, you can choose from many dishes but at the end you realize that you have nothing to eat. The food was not tasty at all, very disappointed. If you arrive around 8-9am for breakfast, many are already dry (bread, crepes, croissants, cereal). The cakes a lot of food coloring and jelly. They change the jelly and the name, but they all have the same taste. 2-3 cakes were more okay, otherwise you will be guaranteed full of them. You will quickly get tired of food! International means a lot Russia, Egypt, few from France and sometimes bacon or apple crumble uk. Too bad they had good stuff to cook, but unfortunately they don't know how to cook them like browns,crap,crab. I had carp one day very very fried, practically you couldn't eat any more of it. (I advise you to bring a Head Chef with more experience and taste in food) I'm not picky about food, but the only thing I want in a 5-star hotel is that the food has taste!! - The pool closes at 5pm and you are allowed to swim in the sea until 6pm. If I had known this, I clearly would not have chosen this hotel! When it's nicer in the evening and the water is great, you're not allowed anymore! If you have some experience and you will arrive later, you will clearly not enjoy the sea! - the sunbeds at the pool are always occupied by those who have a room nearby. They put on their towel at 6 in the morning and go to breakfast/lunch. Until the pool closes, you won't find any free sunbeds. - I don't recommend the cocktails on the beach, the ones by the pool are better, and the ones on the terrace have a lot of alcohol (depends on preferences). The cocktails are served in blue plastic glasses, so don't think that you will have colorful cocktails with an umbrella :)) it won't happen! - a lot of tip, at least $200, euros, pounds just for the tip at the hotel. Everyone expects and makes you feel uncomfortable when you feel that this is all they want from you. If you give them you will be treated differently, be sure! - a la carte restaurants: you have 2 free visits. The first time I made a booking the day before and the next one tried on Wednesday evening for Friday didn't work. I explained this to the reception, but the receptionist very calmly said that they are fully booked and why i didnt made earlier. About how long ago? Before I get to the hotel? Very upset from this point of view that I didn't manage to have dinner at Toscana!! Thank you for your help Mr. Receptionist! - if you speak Russian, you will feel at home, if not, everyone will speak Russian to you and will repeat every day that you do not speak this language! ( 80% of visitors are russians ) - at this hotel you will find around 75-80% people over 40 years old - very rarely music on the beach. Lovely stay, would consider booking again. However, looking at Tui's listing it appears that The Ali Baba restaurant incurs an additional charge (judging by the *). Can you confirm if there are extra charges for your al la carte restaurants? Many thanks.

I was a solo traveller at this hotel. I chose this hotel for adults only and it was a great decision. The hotel is based near the old market, about 10 mins in a taxi to namma bay. The hotel is of great size, not too big or over crowed. Its peaceful, relaxing and calm. For solo travels i would advise its not best for entertainment, as again, hotel is more for R&R. Nevertheless, if your looking for peace, this is perfect! I would like to thank all the staff working in this hotel. All the workers on the beach, in the bars, resturants and Houskeeping. A personal shout out to Yasen from housekeeping, he was just wonderful. My room was always clean and made up in efficient time. Yasen would replace the beach towels every evening ready for the next day. He just made my heart melt everyday! All the staff where just wonderful- they work so so so hard. Please if you are going, i would recommend tipping as always. A good tip is 100 but i would always give 200 as when i saw the way they work, it was the least i could do. There are some things that could improve which would be beach service- no one comes around for drinks, you have to go to the bar. But again, not that important as the walk is always nice! The heat is alot so i understand its really not easy working in the heat they do. The biggest improvment needed in the hotel is the entertainment team- its really not great, but i know its in working progress too. Dont forget to check out the diving school, massage and beauty place all in the hotel- they are all amazing too! As a solo traveller, i was a bit nervous, but they do really look after you so you dont get lonely, and try keep you engaged whilst working.
