"Location: The location is excellent, probably one of the most central spots in Taicang. It's just a five or six-minute walk to Wanda Plaza. Facilities: This seems to be an older hotel, and the in-room facilities are a bit dated. However, the lobby on the first floor is decent. The parking, both above and underground, was almost full, indicating a high occupancy rate. The swimming pool, though, was incredibly crowded, like a 'dumpling soup,' making it impossible to actually swim. Cleanliness: It was quite clean. Service: The response time was pretty prompt."

"I stayed in a standard room for two nights during the May Day holiday for more than 200 yuan. The price-performance ratio is OK. You should book early and keep an eye on the price after booking. There may be a price reduction. A box of fruit was given when I checked in. The fruit was of high quality and delicious. Breakfast was from 7 to 9 o'clock, with boiled noodles and porridge. I happened to have a stomachache those two days, so these were enough. Next to the hotel is a restaurant with its own restaurant, which closes early. The shrimp rolls and shrimp balls are quite delicious, but they are all fried, and you will feel sick if you eat too much. Don't order the fermented bean curd goose liver."

"This is my first negative hotel review on Trip.com, and it's for this place. When I checked in, I realized I hadn't booked a room with breakfast, so I bought two. Buying it at the hotel was more expensive than the Trip.com package. On Trip.com, my room type with breakfast was just over 800 [currency unit], but buying breakfast separately made the total over 900 [currency unit], an extra 90-plus [currency unit]. The staff didn't even mention it, and I only found out after comparing prices back in my room. If it was just my own oversight, that'd be one thing, but I later discovered that for this price on Trip.com, I could have gotten a free room upgrade. So why wasn't I proactively offered an upgrade during the off-peak season? Breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, but when I arrived around 9:20 AM, there were only leftovers from the already limited selection. There was only one sad-looking fried egg left. I understand making less food during the off-season when there are fewer guests, but you're charging me 109 [currency unit] per person. And the hot food wasn't even good. In the room, the duvet on the bed had dust on it, and it felt damp when I slept. The overhead shower was broken, and so was the shower attachment for the bathtub. This is the first time I've encountered toothpaste in a sachet. For this price, I also had to buy my own drinks. And who knows what brand the hairdryer was."

"Overall, it was a good stay. The front desk upgraded our room, which was spacious and faced the fountain plaza. However, it was still quite noisy downstairs with singing until around midnight, so we had to keep the windows closed. The coffee machine and tea set were a nice touch and very convenient to use. On the downside, the shower water pressure was very low and not hot enough. It took a long time to fill the bathtub, and there were small bugs inside it. The complimentary dessert from our package wasn't great – the cake was just average, and the drinks were the same ones offered at the breakfast buffet. During peak breakfast hours, there clearly weren't enough staff. Plate clearing was slow, meaning that by around 9:30 AM, there were no clean tables available. The breakfast variety itself was decent though."

"The whole room is intelligently controlled, which is very convenient. Takeaways can also be delivered upstairs by the front desk robot. The toilet can be heated, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the hardware is very good. And the service at the front desk is very good. First of all, we upgraded the room type for free. In the morning, the breakfast was rich in variety, all freshly burned, and the personal experience was better than the breakfast buffet of most 5-star hotels. The store's own restaurant tastes very good, and the chef cooks very quickly. The fish and small seafood I ate were very fresh, and I forgot to take pictures too fast. The proprietress is warm and welcoming, and there is a value-for-money package for long-term stays. "Advantages: 1. Nice environment, convenient parking, and very quiet. 2. The room size and layout are reasonable. A standard room has a square table and two chairs, and the slippers are very comfortable. Thumbs up! 3. The Chinese restaurant is delicious, really delicious. I ate lunch here twice. The service was also very good; they reminded me that the portions were quite large and not to order too much. Disadvantages: 1. The breakfast is not great; the variety is limited. 2. All bathroom fixtures are Grohe. The wall-mounted toilet with a rear flush is unnecessary; water tends to splash out when flushing. Be careful with the hot water in the shower; the water pressure on the fourth floor is too low. Ideally, it should be at least 0.3 MPa. 3. The charging ports on the table are oddly placed; there are quite a few, but my charger was difficult to plug in. (See picture below) Overall, it's a good hotel, very cost-effective, comfortable, and quiet."
