"This is my first negative hotel review on Trip.com, and it's for this place. When I checked in, I realized I hadn't booked a room with breakfast, so I bought two. Buying it at the hotel was more expensive than the Trip.com package. On Trip.com, my room type with breakfast was just over 800 [currency unit], but buying breakfast separately made the total over 900 [currency unit], an extra 90-plus [currency unit]. The staff didn't even mention it, and I only found out after comparing prices back in my room. If it was just my own oversight, that'd be one thing, but I later discovered that for this price on Trip.com, I could have gotten a free room upgrade. So why wasn't I proactively offered an upgrade during the off-peak season? Breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, but when I arrived around 9:20 AM, there were only leftovers from the already limited selection. There was only one sad-looking fried egg left. I understand making less food during the off-season when there are fewer guests, but you're charging me 109 [currency unit] per person. And the hot food wasn't even good. In the room, the duvet on the bed had dust on it, and it felt damp when I slept. The overhead shower was broken, and so was the shower attachment for the bathtub. This is the first time I've encountered toothpaste in a sachet. For this price, I also had to buy my own drinks. And who knows what brand the hairdryer was."

"The hotel has all the facilities you need, and the lady at the front desk is very nice. The bed was clean and the room had no smell. It feels like the best hotel of the same price range in Taicang!"

"The hotel environment is very good, with a small garden surrounded by a circle of small villas, quiet and good air. The two elderly people have difficulty walking, so they are very happy to take a walk in the small garden and feed the fish after breakfast every day. Whether it is the lobby or the conference hall restaurant, it is very grand and bright, but it may be a long time since it was built. There are some unreasonable facilities in the room, such as there is no socket on the bedside table, and you have to go to the bathroom bar under the window by the desk to charge it, so you can't lie in bed and watch your phone, which feels very inconvenient. In addition, the temperature has risen in the past two days, and the room is stuffy. The air conditioner has been turned on for more than an hour, but the room temperature has not been lowered. Finally, a floor was changed. It was quite difficult to change rooms with two octogenarians. The air conditioner in the new room was not very good. In the end, only a little window could be opened for ventilation, which led to a stuffy sleep at night. To be honest, the attitude of the hotel from the lobby manager to the front desk restaurant waiter is very good, and they have always taken good care of my elderly. But it would be better if you ask more questions when checking in, ”The hotel entrance is under renovation and construction. Living in the south is easy to be woken up early in the morning. Do you want to live in the north?” Because we were awakened by the sound of impact drills at 6 o'clock in the morning for two consecutive days, if the front desk had informed us of this situation when we checked in, we could have avoided the rooms facing south. It was too tiring to move again, so we endured it for two days, but it was still a bit unpleasant. Finally, the Su-style noodles on the first floor of Yuebin Building were too hard and would not be cooked no matter how hard they were cooked. I was quite disappointed. However, the stir-fried dishes were unexpectedly delicious and not expensive. The elderly were very satisfied with the food. Loudong is generally okay, but I hope that they can consider the guests' perspective and be more meticulous in service."

"On a business trip to Taicang, I stumbled upon the Jinmao Yinyi Rose Manor Hotel. It was incredibly convenient for my departure the next day. I checked in close to 9 PM, and the front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive, patiently helping me switch to a twin room on the first floor. The room came with a private viewing balcony, and stepping out, I was greeted by an elegant courtyard – a truly pleasant view. The guest room was spacious and airy, complete with a separate walk-in closet and a delicate dressing table. The TV supported screen mirroring, and there was even a thoughtful Taicang travel guide on the desk – so much attention to detail. The next morning, a light drizzle fell. I walked through the indoor connecting bridge to the breakfast area, where the food selection was plentiful and the ingredients fresh and abundant. After breakfast, I strolled through the gracefully winding corridors, enjoying the misty rain. The air was fresh and humid – so relaxing and rejuvenating. This short stay, less than 12 hours, was comfortable, peaceful, convenient, and utterly delightful. A truly wonderful business trip respite ✨"

"The hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen."

"It was my first time to stay at a hotel on the first day of its opening. The housekeeper Jackie was very enthusiastic and contacted me via WeChat two weeks in advance. She also sent out guides for things to do and eat in the surrounding area. All service staff are very enthusiastic and solve problems quickly. I hope they can continue to do so. The children said they were very satisfied. There was a party in the evening, and many staff took the children to play various games, which relieved the adults. The buffet is quite rich, and Snow World is right opposite, which is very convenient. It was a bit late for skiing, so I helped delay check-out a little, and also gave two little dolls as gifts. The children were very satisfied."
