All these points deserve a five-star rating. Now for some personal suggestions. The main area I recommend improving is breakfast. Having stayed at various family-friendly hotels, from far-flung places like Atlantis to nearby ones like all the Kaiyuan Senbo and Giraffe Hotels, including other Club Med locations, this was my first time at the Taicang branch, and I had a poor experience with the beverages. On the first day, we went around 8 AM, and on the second day, after 10 AM, some food stations weren't open. Normally, everything is open during the summer holidays, but I'll set that aside, as every hotel has its own plans. However, let me address the specific beverage issues. On the first day, the freshly squeezed juice in the restaurant was consistently only filled to one-third of the glass. There's really no need for that; if people want more, they'll simply get refills. Two-thirds is a normal serving, especially since the cups are small. On the second day, I went for freshly squeezed juice at 10:05 AM and couldn't get a single cup; there were only a few scattered watermelon slices. The hot milk was also not refilled and was consistently out of stock. This really feels a bit stingy. The evening activities felt less engaging compared to Nanjing. Nanjing's activities had much more interaction. I still vividly remember children and adults gathering in a circle, singing and dancing together, everyone enjoying drinks, chatting while watching the show, and kids participating on stage."

"The hotel boasts a new Chinese architectural style with a sleek gray and white facade. The lobby is spacious and bright. When checking in, I asked if my family and I could be in the same building. Even though our rooms were already assigned, they immediately helped us switch to rooms together and gave us a free upgrade. The guest relations manager was very accommodating and showed great care. They personally escorted us to our building. The room was large, clean, and tidy, featuring a big bed, a sizable sofa, a desk, and a TV. Pulling back the curtains revealed a direct view of a Suzhou garden, and we could also open the door to step outside. The bathroom had excellent water pressure, a bathtub, and a smart toilet that automatically opened and flushed upon approach. The location is superb. It's only a few hundred meters from Nanyuan, an easy walk away, and about 1 kilometer from Nanyang Plaza. Their afternoon tea cakes were beautifully presented and generously portioned, easily enough for four people. They tasted excellent too! 👍 Although it's a four-star hotel, the facilities are definitely five-star quality, and the service was also very good. During the Dragon Boat Festival, there was a free zongzi-making activity. They even steamed them for us, and we each got to take five home. It was a very satisfying stay!"

"As other online reviews mentioned, don't expect much from the service here. 1. Usually, hotels have a butler escort you to your room and explain things, or at least wait at the door. On our check-in day, we arrived at our room to find the door open. A staff member in plain clothes suddenly emerged from the room, startling us. But that's a minor detail. 2. The public hot spring (gongtang) operating hours are 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. However, when we went at 9:30 PM, after showering, ready to soak, we were told the 'golden' spring (jintang) was already being cleaned and we couldn't use it. Why couldn't anyone warn us when we entered or while we were showering? They started cleaning a full hour before closing, and there were 3-4 other guests in the women's bath at the time; everyone just looked at each other in disbelief. 3. On Tuesday, before checking out, I wanted to have one last soak, so I woke up early. But when I entered the women's changing room, all the lights were off (the locker access card still worked, so the access control wasn't off, and there were no 'closed' signs at the entrance). I had to call the front desk myself to find out it was closed on Tuesdays. No one mentioned this to us during check-in or at any other time, and it wasn't in the check-in guide. So, we woke up early for nothing. The front desk said it was mentioned on Ctrip (it was, but in tiny font about seven or eight pages down). There were also no compensation measures. When we checked out, there were even other guests who had driven over specifically for the hot springs, only to be told it was closed that day. They also made a wasted trip, so the unclear signage is definitely not an isolated incident. Other than that, the value for money is quite good, and the private hot spring (sitang) fees are reasonable, though the private springs only offer the 'silver' spring (yintang)."

The TV supported screen mirroring, and there was even a thoughtful Taicang travel guide on the desk – so much attention to detail. The next morning, a light drizzle fell. I walked through the indoor connecting bridge to the breakfast area, where the food selection was plentiful and the ingredients fresh and abundant. After breakfast, I strolled through the gracefully winding corridors, enjoying the misty rain. The air was fresh and humid – so relaxing and rejuvenating. This short stay, less than 12 hours, was comfortable, peaceful, convenient, and utterly delightful. A truly wonderful business trip respite ✨"
