We stayed here for 5 nights as we wanted a relaxing beach holiday. Sokha Resort gives you just that. The staff are very friendly, the drinks and food were superb and the pool and private beach were perfect. The breakfast selection is ok and some parts of the room could be upgraded- but not a dealbreaker. Have fun!

Only with the help of trip.com my problem was solved. Employees/workers are living in the hotel. Hotel is new but management is week. Breakfast was great, very big choice of food.

Generally speaking, it is satisfactory. The scenery of the whole island is beautiful and the layout is very private. The rooms in the hotel are not so stunning. It is better than natural simplicity and comfort. The service was very considerate, because the corners of the eyes were inflamed, the doctor at the hotel was there and checked and gave the medicine immediately. The local service workers on the island are very simple, always smiling and greeting each other, and some are still trying to chat with you in Chinese. Basically three days on the island, eating, drinking, sleeping, swimming, fishing, snorkeling, is quite fulfilling. There are only two restaurants, the food prices are not low, if you have a Chinese stomach, staying for more than three days is still a bit hard.

The fifth trip to Sihanoukville I have stayed in high-end hotels such as West Lake and Jinbei in the past. Today I chose Prince Hotel on Trip to experience it. Although the overall feeling is not as luxurious as the one we have stayed in above, the attitude of the waiter at the lobby is very good. We did not check breakfast when booking the hotel. We chose the room type - double extra large. The lady at the counter directly upgraded us for free, and there was no breakfast. In addition, the increased price can be provided to us for free during the period. The originally stipulated check-out at 12 noon was also extended to 2 pm. I did not like this hotel. It is too fancy for me, prices are expensive, they don't offer water for drinking, so you have to buy it, the staff doesn't speak English, the beach is very small, you can't just walk down the beach but in circles. Some locals were protesting cause it's build on their families graveyard. All in all i would never go back there again, it seems like a perfect places for older rich people. When I come to Africa I want to see friendliness and spirit of the local people, not expensive luxury hotel where the staff has to clean your room 3x a day and you have to buy water if you're thirsty.

First of all, I do not want to even give 1 star but 1 star is the lowest rating TripAdvisor will allow me to post. Secondly, I have been seething with resentment and humiliation with the way we were treated at the Venice 1 Resort that I had to take a week to bring myself to write an objective review. First of all a quick background on Sihankoukville. Sihankoukville has been invaded by Chinese tycoons looking to make it the next Las Vegas, imagine an Asian ”Sin City” if you will. As a result, there are over 150 cheap looking ******s and an even greater number of on going construction sites. As a result, every time you go into town or anywhere for that matter be prepared to walk in mud and around mounds of construction materials, it is virtually impossible to avoid doing so. Even though this hotel is located at the far end of Otres 2 beach,there is still an immense amount of construction going on, as well as, the aforementioned cheap looking ******s surrounding the property which was truly an eyesore hence rendering the hotel figuratively inaccessible for two principal reasons. Firstly, absolutely no driver knows where is ”Venice 1 Resort” and this is because it is actually the Chan Boutique, imagine our confusion when we first arrived at this so called ”resort”(The Chan Boutique is no where close to a resort, think of it more as a motel with a less cheap looking facade). As such, every time we took a tuk-tuk to and back to the Venice 1 resort, the driver would always ask us for more money at the end of the trip, this happened EVERY SINGLE TIME which constantly put us in a horrible and awkward position, in the beginning we would ask the reception at the hotel to help us communicate with the tuk-tuk drivers but this did not help at all and when negotiating the price with the drivers, the hotel staff and driver would simultaneously laugh, mind you we don't understand Khmer however it truly made us feel that they were laughing at our expense. Secondly, because of the ton of construction, the roads to the Venice 1 Resort is not even a road but rather, a mud road with a copious amount of pot holes, some the size of bomb craters. This was particularly difficult for my partner since he was recovering from bruised ribs and every single journey to and from the resort put him in so much agony that it made my heart weep seeing him in so much pain. When we initially arrived, there was no one to help us with our luggage (we had to trek through mud with our suitcases to get to the entrance). The check-in was mediocre at best and our room was not ready( this was acceptable for us and we understood) however when we returned 7 HOURS LATER we were given the wrong room (we reserved our room much in advance), which was soon rectified by the staff however, the room we had requested, had no hot water, a malfunctioning safety box, an army of ants at our balcony door, mold in the corners of our shower, a mini fridge that smelled so strongly of durian so potent

Top service from breakfast through out the day around the pool. Fair prices from coffees to alcohol as well as a large choice of local or western foods from the on site restaurant. Hardest part is deciding what to do each day and saying final goodbyes to the friendly staff and crystal waters.

The service from Concerge, restaurant, bar breakfast are great the service / customer care is very good - not everyone speak English was a bit a problem at night when you try to make arrange things for next day ! The swimming pool the new one was partly renovated but not used as weather was not great.

A beautiful hotel located at the end of Saracen Bay. Rooms were small but clean and air con was great. Breakfast was a basic buffet, toast, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee and a few hot options. Pool with a view was lovely. A few sun loungers and beds available but these could do with upgrading. Short stroll to the main ***** of Saracen Bay. Remember to arrange a free water taxi collection before arrival as the hotel is at the very end of the beach.

In terms of geographical location, in the center of Sihanoukville, the Double Lions landmark is just downstairs, and you can see the seaside from the room. In terms of facilities and equipment, it is newly decorated and has a high-end atmosphere. In terms of service, the Cambodian girl is beautiful, enthusiastic, and can also speak Chinese. Security measures are also in place. Convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. Impeccable. The key is that the price is very reasonable. I have stayed in other hotels of the same price range in Sihanoukville, and I don't know how bad it is. It is at least three or four grades lower than this one. I used to pass by this place often. From the appearance, I always thought that the price of this hotel must be extremely expensive, so I didn't dare to come in. It's too late to meet me!

It rained heavily on the first day on the island, and the house felt very humid and not particularly comfortable. The second and third days were all sunny, and the sea water became clear, so it felt like a vacation. Consumption on the island is relatively expensive. Mineral water costs two dollars and rice costs one dollar. Apart from the expensive price, everything else is okay. The hotel is garden style, compared to the two nearby hotels, this hotel is very good. The hotel's breakfast is also very good, with fruits and Cambodian rice noodles.

My recent stay at Seascape Palace Hotel left me with mixed feelings. While the hotel itself has its merits, there are significant areas for improvement. Upon arrival, I encountered frustration due to poor English communication skills at the reception desk. This made the check-in process cumbersome and less welcoming than I had hoped for. On a brighter note, the breakfast provided at the hotel was enjoyable, offering a variety of options to start the day off right. Everything is ideal, except that one day we were having lunch (except for all of us are European and American tourists), a group of compatriots on a day trip came to our restaurant and shouted, breaking all the tranquility, everyone in the restaurant saw With them, the hotel waiter apologized to other tourists after they left, and I really felt awkward when we apologized to us. I hope everyone really pays attention to the surrounding environment and controls the volume of sound so as not to disturb other people. We booked a deluxe sea view room at Island Center Point and it was stunning. Everything in the room was finished to a high standard: quality furniture, a comfortable bed and a beautiful outdoor bathroom with luxury toiletries. We were able to step straight from the terrace of our room onto the beach where there are lovely cabanas dotted around. The staff were all delightful, friendly and eager to help whenever they were needed. Island Center Point is towards the end of the bay closest to the jetty where the ferry drops you. It’s very quiet which suited us, we were able to dip in and out of the livelier bars further along the bay whenever we wanted and then return to the peace and comfort of our resort. It feels as though there is still work going on (not that we were in the least disturbed) and I imagine things will only improve as it becomes more established. Saracen bay is lovely, the sand is probably the best I’ve ever come across - it’s like talcum powder. On the two days we were there our side of the island was very breezy, which we were told is often the case in the dry season - this was actually very nice and kept the temperature down but for a change of scenery we also followed the signs and walked across the island to Lazy Beach where you could have been on a different island everything was so calm. There is a lovely bar and restaurant on Lazy Beach which I would also recommend. Breakfast is buffet style in the restaurant and caters to all tastes but a small criticism would be that staff were slow to replenish food that had run out. The restaurant is open all day and serves dinner in the evening but it was very quiet on both the nights we stayed - it’s set back from the beach and to me it lacked atmosphere at night and didn’t appear to draw people in. Given the other very positive reviews about the food I would see this as a great opportunity to make things more inviting and then I’m sure good trade would follow. All in all I would highly recommend.

The hotel does not have breakfast, but there is a restaurant next to it. Three meals a day can be settled next to the restaurant, the price is not expensive on the island, it is very convenient. The room of this hotel is made of bamboo and thatched grass. Sleep, shower, toilet partition. The cleaning is pretty clean, but it is best to bring disposable sheets and other disposable toiletries. This home has no hot water, and it is acceptable to swim directly from the sea. There is a signal near the front desk of the wireless. Walking all the hotels on the island, the white sand beach and the shore at this door are the cleanest. Other hotels look better than this one, but due to direct sewage, the seaside at the door of the room is a bit difficult to go straight. The pier from Sihanoukville is the same one, walking 4 minutes from the hotel, but it is very specific to drag the luggage and walk on the beach. The front desk of the hotel is a bar. It should be fairly clean. In the New Year, some people drink alcohol until 5 in the morning. Basically, they can't sleep at night. It is too noisy. Don't care if you only want to see white sand beaches and clean sea water in the accommodation environment.

A beautiful hotel located at the end of Saracen Bay. Rooms were small but clean and air con was great. Breakfast was a basic buffet, toast, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee and a few hot options. Pool with a view was lovely. A few sun loungers and beds available but these could do with upgrading. Short stroll to the main ***** of Saracen Bay. Remember to arrange a free water taxi collection before arrival as the hotel is at the very end of the beach.

Staying in the Pods is definitely an experience. The property is huge. There are lots of amenities and restaurants to enjoy. The food is GOOD. We are at the Sunset restaurant on the beach and room service. Very good. Breakfast was ok. We had a great time on the beach. We were there all day. There’s towels and you can order drinks. The public beach is beside the property. The only damper on our experience was several (3 separate) Chinese guests (we know bc we live in China and speak Chinese) chose to start recording us and staring at the infinity pool. It almost ruined a very enjoyable day on the beach. Overall it was a good stay, and I would recommend that property. Other guests should be more considerate because it’s rude.

I visited to play poker. The table is open every evening and the rate is $ 1-2. Meals are free during poker. There was no limit on the amount of purchase, and even many people were about $ 500. We know many constructions are undergoing in Sihanoukville. So we didn't expect too much from the city itself, as we just wanted to get away for few nights. Yet, KB hotel has surprised us with thoughtful services since the moment we were picked up in the airport. We used pick-up service (USD 25 per trip) and it only took 30mis from airport to the hotel. During the trip, cold towel, water, and snacks are offered in the car. The hotel is newly opened and quite convenient to the Otres beach. The staffs are friendly and professional, always providing us useful information like weather condition, food areas...etc. In terms of CP value, we would say it surely is worthy!
