The Fairmont, one of Accor's top-tier hotels, despite its age, is meticulously maintained. The room provided six complimentary bottles of water, and upon returning after dinner, turn-down service had been completed with a glass and water by the bedside. Used coffee pods were also replenished – truly 5-star service. Thank you for the birthday cake service as well. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a rich variety of international dishes. I would love to stay here again if I ever visit Manila. The location is excellent too, with a large shopping mall right across the street that includes a supermarket and shops selling Filipino goods, making it easy to buy souvenirs.

I booked a room at The Manila Peninsula for my dad’s birthday, and my parents had the best time. Although the rooms are a little dated, the wonderful service and overall experience more than made up for it. The highlight was hearing the orchestra play a birthday song for my dad in the beautiful lobby. It made their stay truly memorable and worthwhile. This is my second stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip. 1. Location: It's located in Makati, which is a relatively safe and bustling area with a pleasant surrounding environment. SM Mall is right across the street, and within about a two-minute walk, you'll find a pizza place, a restaurant with flavors that appeal to Chinese palates, and a Lawson convenience store. 2. Hotel Service: The hotel service is also relatively excellent. They are generally cooperative in addressing any issues, and it's quite convenient to get a taxi from here. 3. Breakfast: The breakfast selection is also quite rich and varied.

I stayed in Horizon Club for 4 nights. The club lounge offered excellent services and food variety. Love the staircase link between 2 floors. The hotel location is excellent. However, the hotel overall are bit dated. . Need renovation. The cleanliness of the carpet in the room need to be improved. Overall, the service, food and staff are excellent, above and beyond Shanghai-la reputation . Again, need major renovation to keep up the competition around Makati area.

Excellent hotel with a fantastic location right in the heart of the shopping district. The area feels very safe. However, getting in and out can be a challenge due to extreme traffic congestion. It can take more than 25 minutes just to reach the hotel by car, even if you're already in the same area. Walking, it's only 3 minutes away. There's also some renovation work happening in the surrounding area. Despite these points, it's definitely worth another visit. The staff are incredibly wonderful and very cooperative. They also offer a very good bus service, which of course, comes with a fee.

We had a very pleasant stay at Lub d Manila Makati. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-organized for our short trip. The quality of the bed was really great the mattress and pillows were soft, which gave us a relaxing and restful night's sleep. Having a working mini refrigerator in the room was super convenient for keeping our drinks cold. They also provided clean drinking water, which was very helpful. The bathroom was spotless, and the hot water in the shower worked perfectly with good water pressure every time. Overall, it was a great experience with complete basic amenities.

⭐ 1 Star – Disappointing Experience Very disappointed with our experience. The pool attendant asked my children to leave the pool, while she was on her phone and on a video call most of the time. If there are pool rules, they should be clearly explained and enforced professionally. The way this was handled was rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel to families.

The most luxurious hotel in Manila. Afternoon tea and cocktail hour included in the room rate was a great experience! Perfect for special occasions.

The good: · Jollibee is very close - just a 2-minute walk away and supermarket is beside it. This was a lifesaver for quick meals or things to buy. · Price was reasonable and the staff were generally accommodating . The challenges: I didn't like the surrounding area the neighborhood felt a bit run-down and noisy . The hotel itself is on a narrow street and lacks an elevator . Limited dining variety: While Jollibee was convenient, there weren't really any other notable restaurants close by. Dining options overall were quite limited for a budget traveler.

I had to follow up multiple times for toiletries and towels. The place is a bit old. We also had an incident where a FP rider verbally abused my sister right infront of the guard but he didn't do anything. He was on the phone the entire team. When I asked him to confirm what happened, he was sarcastic, smug even. ”BAKIT, ANO BANG SINABI SAYO NG KAPATID MO?” I approached him professionally but his gestures are kinda bastos. I won't be back.
