"I had a wonderful stay at Changbaishan Hailinyuan Fashion Hotel! The hotel is very affordable, making it a great option for budget travelers without compromising on comfort. What really stood out was the owner’s incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the owner went out of their way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. They provided transport from Changbaishan Station to the hotel and even offered to take us to local attractions at no extra charge, which made exploring the area so much easier. The photos below show the owner fetching us to the attractions, which was such a thoughtful touch! The hotel is located right in town, so it’s very convenient. There are many food options nearby, as well as a convenience store, which made grabbing snacks or essentials very easy. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall environment of the hotel was welcoming and cozy. The owner is truly a kind and thoughtful person, always ready to help and ensure guests have a smooth and pleasant stay. I felt really looked after throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel with excellent service, a convenient location, and a personal touch, I highly recommend Changbaishan Hailinyuan Fashion Hotel. The combination of affordability, hospitality, and convenience makes it an outstanding choice for anyone visiting the area."

"The room was spacious enough, but the one I stayed in only had a skylight, so there was no view outside. There was a mahjong machine in the room. Overall, the service was decent; they even sent someone to pick me up from the high-speed rail station when I called last minute on the same day. I'm not sure if they offer drop-offs to the station, so it's best to ask in advance. Everything else was acceptable, and the location was pretty good too. The surrounding environment is as pictured."

"The location is great, close to the Changbai Mountain North Scenic Area, with convenient dining options nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the environment was lovely, and the service was thoughtful! The hotel is located in Erdaobaihe Town, which has many free attractions like the Chinese Merganser Park, Jianshuihe National Wetland Park, and Yunding Market. All are very close to the hotel and within walking distance!"

"The hotel's service exceeded expectations, very warm and thoughtful, the younger brothers and sisters at the front desk are very good, asking for directions, travel planning are in place, people have not arrived, have sent the delicious and fun around the guests, no stepping on the pit. The boss is really responsive, such a service, no wonder they have a good business, will recommend to friends around them."

"Five stars, highly recommend this B&B! We arrived at Changbaishan Station late at night, and the owner was so thoughtful; she proactively arranged a complimentary pick-up for us. Since we were starving, I asked her if she could give us a room closer to a restaurant, and she readily agreed, which was a free upgrade! The driver even helped us carry our luggage upstairs (our suitcases were super heavy). They also gave us a free ride to the restaurant we wanted to go to. I'm so grateful! 😊 With such amazing service, we definitely had to extend our stay for another night! The owner can also help arrange activities!"

"This is a newly opened hotel with a great environment. It has four or five floors and a variety of room types, all without any unpleasant odors. The location is very convenient, close to all the attractions. There's a large park just a few hundred meters away, perfect for taking the kids to play in the snow after dinner. There's also a breakfast place right next door on the ground floor, so you can grab breakfast downstairs and then easily catch a taxi to your next destination."

"They offer a shuttle service to and from the station, which is super convenient. The hotel environment is lovely, and the rooms are very spacious. We stayed in a loft, and the upstairs area was huge and very comfortable for sleeping. The location is also excellent; you can find so many places to eat right outside, and most of the local specialties are nearby. The owner is also very warm and friendly. Plus, it's really close whether you're heading to Changbai Mountain or Yunding Tiangong."

"Pros: 1. Across from the guesthouse, there's a large supermarket (Wanfuyuan) which is super convenient for buying fruit and daily necessities. There's also a breakfast shop (Mi Ge Mi Sao) offering various Chinese breakfast items like steamed buns, flatbreads, and congee. 2. Just a few steps downstairs from the guesthouse, you'll find a pharmacy and a bakery (San Mao Bakery). There are countless restaurants in the vicinity. 3. Stayed for several days and didn't encounter a single mosquito, perhaps because there's a moxibustion and massage shop on the second floor of the guesthouse. 4. The double bed has a firm spring mattress, so no worries about backaches. Cons: 1. The shower water temperature can be a bit inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold, and the water pressure varies, but it won't scald you. 2. Although the sound insulation of the door isn't great, I slept well even though it's on a street. Plus, the door lock has a deadbolt. 3. Despite no cleaning service or trash bag changes during my stay, I actually appreciate it as it might prevent bringing in insects or mosquitoes with frequent entries. 4. No TV or cups in the room, and the WiFi signal was a bit weak, but that's okay. However, a chair and a hairdryer would have made the stay much more convenient. In summary, for Changbai Mountain, where taxis are extremely difficult to get and public transportation is scarce (and very few food delivery riders on the roads), the location and price of this guesthouse are its biggest highlights and make it a worthwhile choice. All other minor issues can be overlooked. Especially considering that during the Rice Festival, most hotels and guesthouses drastically inflate their prices, this place only doubled its rate, which is commendable. Given the taxi difficulties in Changbai Mountain, we booked another guesthouse (Ya Zhi Jia) for our last night that offered an early morning drop-off service to the station. The transportation is convenient, and it offers great value for money, making it perfect for independent travelers. The front desk staff are all very kind, enthusiastic, and highly professional.
