This guesthouse has an amazing location! You can see Mount Gongga in the distance and climb Mount Yala nearby. Behind the cabin is a stream and a meadow with tons of marmots – you can see them right from your room! At night, you can stargaze and even photograph the Milky Way, shooting stars, and the Big Dipper – so lucky! Breakfast wasn't included in the booking, but the owner made it for us. The room is also very spacious. Highly recommend it!!! It's a newly opened place, and I was a little worried at first, but after staying there: everyone, go for it!

Stayed for two nights. The first day I went on a day trip around the area, and the second day I explored Kangding city. It was very relaxing and comfortable. I even attended a class at the hostel. A big thanks to everyone in the common area for helping keep it quiet 🤣. Everyone was super friendly, and many were heading west, which really got me interested in backpacking and new routes!

I have never met such lovely hotel staff members. They helped me book trips, gave me tips around acclimatization and things to do and so much more. If I return to Kangding, I'll stay here again, for the amazing and kind service! Aside from that, the room had a working AC, hot shower (though requires a little figuring out) and a TV that I could connect to with the HDMI cable they had in the router. The location is rather quite at the north eastern end of the city, which I preferred to the center. It takes around 15 minutes to get to the city center by foot and there's plenty of taxis for around 5 yuan to take you to other parts of the very elongated city. The hotel also has a large lobby with tables, though of course it's a bit cold there.

Dumu Cang B&B Review This stay at Dumu Cang B&B far exceeded my expectations. Their dedication was evident in so many ways, and I absolutely have to give it a thumbs-up! Environment The B&B's ambiance was truly amazing! From the carefully arranged greenery in the courtyard to the layout of the common areas, it exudes a natural and warm atmosphere, creating stunning photos. The view from the room was also fantastic; just opening the window, you're greeted by a breathtaking view, instantly soothing the fatigue of travel. Cleanliness The cleanliness was impeccable, with meticulous attention to detail. The bedding was clean and soft, with no odor at all. The bathroom tile grout and sink corners were spotless, and even the towels and bath towels exuded a fresh, clean feel. I felt incredibly comfortable staying here. Service The service was incredibly warm and thoughtful! From the pre-stay consultation to the arrival greeting, the staff were incredibly helpful. They were always quick to respond and assist with any requests, and they proactively shared nearby attractions and restaurants, offering genuine friend-like support. Facilities The room was fully equipped and functional. The air conditioning was quick to cool and heat, and the hot water supply was reliable. The toiletries were of excellent quality, and even the little details like the hair dryer and charging sockets were thoughtfully considered and extremely convenient. I didn't have to worry about missing anything in a B&B. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I'll definitely choose Dumu Cang again next time I'm in the area!

Believe me Service: Service is very good Facilities: There is floor heating and hot water. This is very good in Kangding. Kangding in winter is very cold. Summary: Very good, the hotel did not take pictures, the pictures uploaded by the merchants are real pictures

The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, handling check-in and check-out efficiently. They were patient and kind throughout, answering any questions carefully, which was very heartwarming. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and clean, ensuring a restful sleep. The soundproofing was excellent; outside noise was barely audible at night. The bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry separation, plenty of hot water, and all necessary toiletries were provided. It was also very clean. Conveniently located, and most importantly, free parking is available, making it excellent value for money. Overall, the attention to detail was excellent, with no unpleasant experiences. Staying here for business or travel was very reassuring, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time and recommend it to my friends!

We happen to visit Dartsedo (or commonly know as Kanding) in October, at the time of a big national holiday. So, the town was full of visitors from the mainland. Our original hotel has rejected our booking and this hostel was one of the very few options left. We booked 3 rooms in total. There are lots of good things that could be said about this hostel. The owner and the staff ladies were very nice and super helpful. They had accepted to wash our bag of travel clothes in the facilities free of charge, which was very kind. The rooms were what could be expected from this type of accommodation and for booking last minute. All was much nicely arranged that what we have expected for a hostel and the bedding were very clean .The common areas where also kept clean at all time. The shower area are on the small side, but all had hot water, towels, overall not great as maintenance but clean and functional. Our room was probably the only one that was facing a brick wall not a street, but we were OK with it. Anyone visiting this area from the West, should be ready to use squat toilets, which are common in this part of the world. Our room was probably the only one equipped with it. The bed had some kind of board instead of a mattress, but still was comfortable to sleep. The location was great. Obviously if you are a Westerner, you shouldn't expect a peaceful place , but this hostel is on the main street leading to the ”Love square”, with many nice places to eat and buy what you need. And the walk up to the central town is short and pleasant. The only recommendation we can make is to put some mosquitos repellent, Our room was for some reason had the most and that made it difficult to sleep.. On the downside, but we know it's a common problem for the town- there is no parking for the hostel and in general very difficult to find a parking place in this town. And the hostel is on the 3rd floor, so you should be prepared to take your luggage on the stairs.

After comparing several hotels, I chose Kangsheng. This hotel has a very high cost performance. It is located on the pedestrian street on the left side of Liuliu. There is someone to meet you at the door. The environment is good and it is not noisy at night. The photos seen on the website are the same as the actual ones, and the hygiene conditions are also very good.

Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!

Such a good place in the heart of Tagong! Very clean and the owner is an amazing person! I booked a double room but he offered me a free upgrade to a bigger room. He also helped me book a bus and came all the way with me to the bus station to make sure I board the right bus. I really recommend this place!
