"Seriously good! When I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded my room – I originally booked a single, but got a room with two beds! Haha, the beds were super big, she told me to just enjoy both of them. Plus, there's an elevator, which is a nice touch. It's truly great value for money; the environment is lovely with lots of greenery, and the bathroom is spacious and the toilet is clean. I honestly didn't expect such a great room for under 100 yuan! And just for fun, here are some photos I took at Blue Moon Valley, I think they turned out pretty well hahaha (✿^‿^)"

"Exceptional. Superb guesthouse in the heart of Lijiang's old town, yet peaceful. Beautiful room with a bathtub and comfortable bed. The guesthouse is lovely, and there's a rooftop terrace with stunning city views. Our host was fantastic, incredibly friendly, and always ready to help. We enjoyed some tea, he upgraded us to the largest room, and he even gave us flower cakes. We will definitely return on our next trip to Lijiang."

"This guesthouse is incredibly quiet at night, and there's no disturbance inside either, so I slept very soundly. The environment is lovely, and there's a viewing deck where you can see the old town. It's easy to find using navigation. The owner is very welcoming and gave great recommendations for attractions and local food. The room I stayed in had excellent natural light. The owner even offered a discount when I extended my stay, which was fantastic!"

"The owners, a sister and her husband, were very kind and upgraded our room. Staying here felt as comfortable as being at home. The room was clean and tidy, and the amenities were all high-quality. There was a sunroom upstairs with a view of the old town – so peaceful! The owners and their mother are both Naxi people, and they were very hospitable. My son had a great time playing with their two children. We stayed for three days, and it was hard to leave. The owner's mother used to work in tourism and knew the surrounding attractions and routes very well."

"The best place I've stayed so far in Yunnan. Many places dont allow you to use their washing machine/charge you for it but I could finally wash my piled up laundry here🫩🫶 They also offer free water in bottles (which every single one i literally used every ounce of my strength to open...) but overall very cozy sheets, clean spacious bathroom, they have everything i needed. Guy is very friendly too!"

"The room was great, spacious and clean. The owner was very warm and friendly. The location is super convenient, just a short walk to the 101 bus stop in the morning. Plus, there's a shared bike parking spot right in front of the hotel, which is really handy. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

"Undoubtedly my best hotel experience in China. Positioned right up to the old town, but not inside it, meaning that the nearby shops sell good food at decent prices, making it 100% in location. Cleanliness was also 100%, no need to say any more. The facilities were excellent, including a kitchen, water server, soft and comfortable bed, and western style toilet. But the service is beyond normal. The hosts were so kind, and so helpful, that it was almost unbelievable. And all of this is to an extremely good price. Don't ask questions, just stay here!"

"The homestay is near the ancient city of Lijiang. It is convenient to go to the big waterwheel. It is very close to the scenic spot. It saves time and effort to play and rest. The living atmosphere nearby is good. There are many specialty snacks and restaurants on Qixing Street. The decoration of the room is elegant, warm and comfortable, the room is cleaned very clean, and the living is safe and assured. It is highly recommended to friends who come here to play."

"The rooftop has an open-air area for drying clothes, which is quite convenient. Upstairs, there's a flat-level lounge area with many vibrant and beautiful flowers and plants. I heard most guesthouses in Lijiang don't have elevators, so I specifically chose this one that does, which was very convenient. It's located near Lijiang Old Town's South Gate, Zhongyi Street, making it super accessible, about an 8-minute walk."

"We stayed here on 22 May 2026 for 2 people for 3 nights , and we had a wonderful experience in Lijiang Old Town. We had two very heavy suitcases, but it was not a problem at all. Jack, the owner, took very good care of us. He speaks English very well, which made everything much easier. We booked the hotel through Trip.com, and right after our payment was confirmed, Jack contacted us immediately. We stayed in touch through WeChat during the whole trip. On the first day, Jack helped us carry both of our heavy suitcases through the old town. He also gave us many useful recommendations. One of our suitcases was damaged during the trip, and he kindly suggested a place where we could buy a new one at a reasonable price. The room was beautiful and had a very authentic traditional Chinese old town feeling. We booked a large room, but we did not expect it to have a loft area and a tea corner inside the room. The night view from our room (Room A201) was absolutely amazing — we could see all the beautiful lights across the old town from the window. We were truly impressed. Jack also told us to visit the rooftop at night to enjoy the rooftop view and city lights of Lijiang Old Town. Unfortunately, we only had time to go there on our last night, and we really wish we had gone earlier. The room was very comfortable, the weather was nice, and there was free tea to enjoy. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day. The bathroom had a hot water system, and we especially loved the strong water pressure. When it was time to check out, we informed Jack in advance that we had to leave very early in the morning to catch our train to Shangri-La. Once again, our heavy luggage was never a problem. Jack was still willing to help us carry both suitcases all the way to the nearest road where we could wait for our DiDi. We truly appreciated his kindness and support throughout our stay We are very thankful to Jack for making our vacation so perfect and memorable. We would definitely love to come back again in the future."
