"I extended my stay for another night, haha! I'm satisfied with everything, though I do think there could be more tissues; sometimes the box isn't even full, and it's not enough for an overnight stay. The environment and hygiene are always good, and I always give five stars. Also, regarding the shower gel and shampoo, I personally think they could check and refill them after each guest checks out. I often encounter situations where either the shampoo or shower gel is empty when I check in, and I feel embarrassed to call. Sometimes I just use shampoo as shower gel or vice versa. Of course, I'm still giving five stars, just a suggestion to pay attention to that."

"I rarely say this on my reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Minsu. When I come back to Quanzhou for another family holiday, I will book this place again. Firstly, the location: It is unbeatable. It is near enough to be in the midst of the action in Quanzhou (near the walking street, eateries, restaurants, shopping etc etc), yet very quiet for us to enjoy a good night’s rest, or a good conversation at night over tea. Second, the nice balance between an authentic cultural home and modernism. We had the entire Minsu to ourselves, 6 rooms in total. Renovated about 3-4 years ago, the Minsu gave us the experience of living in an authentic Chinese inn, yet the amenities were modern….comfortable beds, modern toilets, refrigerators available etc….The courtyards were also beautiful. The entire Minsu was tastefully done…..plus it was spotlessly clean. Thirdly, the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. They met us at the drop off point, and brought us to the Minsu when we checked in, helping to move some of our luggages (and they did the same thing when we checked out). They went out of their way to help purchase traditional puppet show (木偶) tickets (at a small discount somemore). After we checked out, my son left his hoodie in the room. The owners assisted to courier the jacket to the next city we were heading to (we were already in the train at that time). And lastly, every morning and every night, either Mr Du, his son or his daughter in law would invite us to join them for tea. They would then proceed to serve tea the traditional way, while having a conversation with us. They also taught us certain traditions, protocols and rules when serving tea. They have a cat called TangYuan (汤圆), in which the kids in the family enjoyed playing with. The only thing to note is that public transport (via taxis and buses) only can drop you off at a spot about 5min walk away. Also, they provide disposable towels, not the regular towels given at hotels. If it is an issue, just bring your own towels. Otherwise, this place deserves 5 out of 5 stars."

"Our team-building stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The hotel offered a good number of rooms with various layouts, perfect for a large group. The common areas were great for relaxing and socializing, parking was convenient, and the service was attentive. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. This hotel is definitely our top choice for company team-building events. It's really excellent!"

"I stayed in Quanzhou for two consecutive days, and my overall experience was fantastic. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend it! First, the location is absolutely superb, making getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel has a parking lot right downstairs, making parking easy and stress-free. There's also a direct elevator, so you don't have to lug your luggage around unnecessarily, which saves a lot of effort. You just drive up a slope and turn a corner, and you're at the entrance – the access is very smooth. From B1 of the hotel, you can directly access the street. Turn right, and you'll find the Bell Tower; cross an intersection, and you're just a few steps from West Street. Right across the street is a huge area with various eateries, making it a one-stop shop for food, drink, and entertainment. My favorite Aquan Beef restaurant is right next door, and the food is so delicious that I ate there several times during my two-day stay! The room experience was also great. The room type had one double bed and one single bed, offering spacious and comfortable living. It was equipped with a sofa, table, and chairs, making it very pleasant whether you're relaxing with tea or ordering takeout and dining in. The biggest bonus: it's super pet-friendly! You can bring your dog without any restrictions, which is a huge relief for those traveling with pets. The hotel also offers a complimentary Zanhua (flower hairpin) experience. A heads-up and key points for everyone: The Zanhua spot is on West Street and uses artificial flowers, not fresh ones. However, they will style your entire head, not just provide a simple hairpin. Their operating hours end at 7 PM, and the Zanhua needs to be returned, you cannot keep it. Make sure to manage your time accordingly! Also, be sure to make an appointment in advance via WeChat or business card, as previous customers getting makeup and changing clothes can cause significant delays, and you might have to wait a very long time if you just show up. Overall, the hotel is newly renovated and well-equipped. The only minor drawback is that the mattress is too soft. I personally like soft beds, but this one was excessively soft – you just sink right into it. After a tiring day of exploring and eating in Quanzhou, lying down for a long time made my body feel a bit sore. Other than that, there's almost nothing to fault."

"It is a bit difficult for foreign tourists to find because they do not have signs in English. They also did not give us instructions before arriving. We wandered around for a while and then chatted on Trip to get instructions. There is no daily room cleaning service or free refills of water bottles. The location is right next to West Street, however, for convenience in eating and traveling, it is better to stay at the western end of West Street (near Kaiyuan Temple)."

"I stayed in Quanzhou once last year, and this time, the family room for our family trip was such a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious with a king-size bed (1.8m) and a single bed (1.2m). The mattresses were just right, not too soft nor too hard, so the whole family slept wonderfully. Since we had a larger group, the hotel thoughtfully provided extra toiletries, bottled water, and blankets – truly attention to detail. The location is very convenient, much more so than B&Bs in the old town, making it easy to get to attractions and restaurants. Plus, there's a McDonald's downstairs, which the kids loved. This will definitely be our top choice for future family trips with kids!"

"[Location] The location of the hotel is very good, the travel is very convenient, there are many supermarkets and restaurants around, taxis and walking are very convenient, the overall location is very good. [Facilities] The decoration of the hotel is simple and refreshing, the room layout is reasonable, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the air conditioning, hot water, network operation is stable, the TV is easy to use, the public area is equipped with a laundry room, fully furnished, and the accommodation experience is comfortable. [Service] The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, check-in and check-out are fast, the staff has questions and answers, the response is timely, and the service is intimate and polite. [Hygiene] The store is clean and tidy as a whole, the lobby corridor is refreshing and odorless, the rooms are cleaned meticulously, the bedding is clean, the bathroom is dry and dirt-free, and the hygiene is in place. The overall price is very high, I am very satisfied with the business trip, and I will choose this Hanting next time I travel."

"I ventured into Quanzhou, a city of bustling life and ancient charm, but found myself jostling through the crowds. It wasn't until I ducked into Lin Family Courtyard that I truly understood the precious essence of Chinese New Year: finding peace amidst the bustle. My child and I took some beautiful photos in the courtyard with flower hairpins. The room was spacious and clean, and we had a lovely view of a small pond from the window. I hope to stay here again on my next visit to Quanzhou."

"Since I was driving with elderly family members, I called ahead to ask about parking. I was told it was in the underground garage across from the hotel and specifically asked if there was a direct elevator to the lobby, receiving an affirmative answer. However, after parking in the old-looking underground garage, there was no direct elevator to the hotel lobby. I called the front desk again and was told to take my luggage myself from the vehicle entrance/exit up to ground level to get to the hotel! Upon arrival, I asked the front desk why they didn't mention this when I called. The two young women at the desk said they had just started their shift and that the previous shift hadn't informed me... They offered some local specialties to appease me, but honestly, it was just a matter of adding one more sentence to their initial explanation. Isn't this a failure in hotel management training? They immediately tried to deflect responsibility. The hotel's only real plus is its good location. The cleanliness was average, and the overall decor isn't very new. I'm not sure if the floor is uneven or the chair legs are, but every time you sit down, there's a loud bang. The soundproofing isn't great. The coffee machine in the lobby often breaks down, requiring a security guard to fix it. The 'Old Noodle King' at the hotel's intersection, however, was quite good and convenient for breakfast."
