This was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend. Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!! They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator. We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon. When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊 We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. This was my first trip to the Stone Forest Scenic Area, and I stumbled upon this newly renovated hotel. The stay was excellent; the room was quiet, clean, and tidy, and the decor was perfect for young people. There's a large supermarket, night market, and bus station right next door, making shopping and transportation very convenient. Highly recommended!

Location was good in that it was around a lot of shops and stores. Front desk people were helpful in answering any questions that I had. I felt like I didn't have much access to the kitchen in cooking my own stuff. Sometimes I was confused about whether it was okay to eat the food that the chef cooked or those meals were only for guest that paid for it. I appreciate the front desk people for loaning out their phone charger to me on a temporary basis when mine didn't work until I can get a new one.

The hygiene is impeccable, and the separation of dry and wet areas is quite good. The environment is also good and quite unique. There is almost no service. I wanted to check the screen projection at night but it wouldn't open for a long time. When I contacted my boss on Ctrip, the message was read but not replied. The shower instructions are unclear. It says hot on the left and cold on the right, but actually you have to turn it clockwise 20 degrees to get hot water. The room looks high-end at first glance, with large windows and a wide view, but in reality it is disappointing. When we arrived at the hotel at night, there was no bus stop nearby, so we could only take a taxi or ride a shared bike, which was generally inconvenient. If you are going to Shilin Scenic Area, I don't recommend staying here, but the horse meat downstairs is delicious, which is a plus for this place.
