"It's a good resort hotel. Guests of the hotel are basically white people. You can see the blue sea through the window of the balcony in the room on the first floor. The water is very blue and beautiful. I'd like to recommend this resort town."

"The hotel is simple in a good way. The rooms are small but well designed so it is ok. The pool is huge and everybody is around not in which is even better for people who like to swim quietly. The beach is artificial but that is the way it is. The breakfast is outstanding, on of the best ever, and god knows how many breakfasts I have eaten in hotels. The a la carte menu that you can have at the pool bar or at your lounge chair is short but very tasty. Little deception with the buffet that we took at dinner on our arrival, but you have so many options to dine out as the hotel is located 50 meters from the ”center”, an open air food court with very good restaurants if you choose carefully. Last but not least, If you are into kiting and/or wing-foiling the hotel has an agreement with the Duotone Center located in Casa Cook's a sister hotel. It is a 15 minute ride by Tuk Tuk. In a nutshell we recommend."

"We’ve been to Egypt a lot of times. First time we are staying Sahl hasheesh - ZEN Resort. Very good hotel, spacious room, we had a good balcony with beautiful sea view. Everyone in the resort is very helpful,especially Mohammed Riad - front office manager, he helped us to rent a golf cart and was always there to support us when needed. Definitely recommend this place!a"

"I recently stayed at this hotel and was absolutely delighted! The grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and ready to help in any situation. The food was varied and delicious, with a wide selection to suit every taste every day. I especially loved the tranquil, cozy atmosphere, which allowed me to truly relax and unwind. I'd also like to highlight the high level of service. Everything was perfectly organized, from check-in to check-out. My stay left nothing but the most pleasant impressions. I would happily return here again and will recommend this hotel to my friends and acquaintances!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Ali pasha! The staff are very friendly and welcoming us! The hotel looks very boutique and room is very clean! Our included breakfast had a lot of the options and quite tasty. The location is close to a quiet little town and also have some good food options and easy access to to different spots via taxi or tucxi."

BBryce van de LaarThe Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted. The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes. We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along. There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus). The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet). Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort.

GGuest UserIt was better than I expected! The ocean view was breathtakingly beautiful. The facilities were top-notch, and it was also great to be able to enjoy cocktails all the time with the all-inclusive plan. The staff were all friendly, too. I want to go again! ☺️

MMounirMinaIf I can rate this hotel more than 5 stars, I will do so. Those people are hospitality gurus, the way they treated me and my family made us all overwhelmingly happy. Every single detail was taken into consideration and exceeded my expectations. -Once in the restaurant my son was hesitant and in seconds the chef made him a special order that suits his taste. -Snacks and pizzas are so yummy. -The hotel is nice and cozy. -The views are relaxing. -Super clean Rooms, Pools and restaurants. -The main restaurant served seafood several times. However, It was never smelly and this is a plus. -Access was available to Jaz Casa Del Mar's lovely sandy beach. Words won't express my feelings when the hotel sent me a complimentary birthday cake on my birthday and another compliment was sent the next day (fruit platter, nuts and maccarons😋😋) Special thanks to reception team members (Mohamed for his close follow up on any issue, Ibrahim for his complement and Philopater for receiving us). AAnonymous UserSharing the same beach as Arabella, this hotel isn't directly beachfront, but it's much quieter without kids around. The food was decent; we ate very well for our two-day stay. There are evening shows with audience interaction, and during the day, you can just lie on the beach and snorkel – perfect for a relaxing getaway. At night, with the lights on, you can see tons of fish; we even spotted mantas, sea turtles, and small shark groups! The hotel's cats are really well looked after, all spayed/neutered and eartagged, kudos to them! The air conditioning is a bit noisy, and the sound of condensation in the pipes is noticeable. The shower setup is a bit old-fashioned but still functional.

GGuest Userproperty, but service and logistics need improvement I have mixed feelings about our stay. On the positive side, the hotel is new and very well-designed. The restaurant is spacious with great indoor and outdoor seating, and the breakfast was decent. The beach is stunning—very quiet with crystal clear water—but be careful entering the sea as there are many rocks at the shoreline. However, there are several drawbacks: Service: The staff seems very inexperienced. We were charged to upgrade from a single to a double room even though the website listed them at the same price. At breakfast, we had to ask for coffee multiple times before it actually arrived. Facilities: Surprisingly, the main pool is not heated, and there is no elevator, which is worth noting if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. Location: You are quite isolated here. You definitely need a car or a shuttle to get anywhere. Overall, it’s a nice physical space, but the management needs to better train the staff to match the ”new” feel of the resort.

FFangaodexingkongThis is a classic all-inclusive resort, and our check-in process was smooth from start to finish. They even allowed us to check in an hour early since a room was available, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel's beach offers beautiful sunrise views, located right next to the main restaurant. Plus, the public areas of Arabella and Azul hotels are interconnected, so you can take photos in the public spaces of both hotels – it's a very photogenic place. The restaurant food offers a good variety, and the taste is decent. The pizza at the Italian restaurant is quite good and worth prioritizing. The biggest surprise was that even though we checked out at 12:00 PM, we didn't leave until 4:00 PM. The staff let us keep our wristbands, which meant we could continue to enjoy the hotel's services and the lounge. Big thumbs up to that! 👍

GGuest UserEven though it's an older hotel, the facilities aren't dated. The bedding was a bit pilled but very clean. The front desk staff were great; they upgraded us to a sea-view room when we checked in at 1 AM, and the bellhop helped with our luggage without expecting a tip. Check-out is at noon, and you can store your luggage. The sea view was much better than expected – you could easily spend a whole day just relaxing there without going out. The meals were a bit 'Western' fare, but the omelets at breakfast were delicious, and dinner included sea prawns and fish.

AAnonymous UserWe had a pleasant stay at Siva Golden Bay Makadi. The hotel is beautiful with an incredible view. Everything is very clean, and our room was spotless. The staff are super friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. A special shout-out to Ahmed, who takes care of the room cleaning, and Hussein Ali, who kindly offered us a late check-out. The beach is magnificent, the pool is very clean, and the facilities are varied and of good quality. Regarding the food, it was okay. The afternoon barbecue was quite good, as was dinner, but we really didn't like the breakfast. The only downside is that the hotel is far from the city center, but it's perfect for getting away from it all. We didn't encounter any French tourists at the hotel; there's a strong Slavic presence, so it definitely felt like a complete change of scenery. We recommend it a thousand times over.

MM440560****The check-in process at the front desk was incredibly slow; I waited over ten minutes, only to be given a room completely different from the sea-view room I booked—it faced a wall! I had to get angry before they finally switched me to a room with a sea view. It’s best to double-check everything at the front desk when checking in, especially since the rooms are quite a distance from the front desk, and the restaurant is across from the front desk, requiring a walk from the beach. This hotel's pool and beach don't prohibit Muslim swimwear, but the cleanliness felt average, and the facilities are a bit old. A particular note for parents: the pool under the children's play area is very deep. Even though there are lifeguards, parents should definitely accompany their children. The food is typical Egyptian quality, with freshly cut fruit and two dishes prepared live daily. The location is quite good, right in the middle of a lively area and very close to the city pier. However, be cautious of the small Egyptian souvenir shops to the left of the main entrance; I don't recommend them. If you really want to shop there, go with a group. The hotel also has its own pier for direct sea excursions, but be sure to choose your boat captain carefully. The hotel's landscaping is well-maintained with many cats, and the beach water is crystal clear, perfect for spotting small fish and water birds. There's morning yoga by the sea and evening entertainment. There are many hotels in this area, so you might consider staying at a few to get a different experience.

AAlixosLet’s start with that the team went above and beyond so that we have the best experience. We got a very clean and modern room but was on the ground floor. We asked for a room on a higher floor so they showed us different options but clarified that they weren’t renovated yet. The next day they moved us to a renovated room on a higher floor (the photos attached). The team’s response is quick. We had breadkfast and dinner included. The breakfast is a variety of cheese, turkey and chicked slices, baked goods, pancakes eggs, sausages, vegetables, fruits and drinks, etc. The dinner we had was mainly salads, rice, kufta (minced beef with spices, cooked potatoes, duck, baked goods, and deserts. Finally, the resort has access to the beach/sea, it is across the street though and a 10 min walk away.  Thanks for the team for making our experience and vacation as chill and relaxing as possible.
