"The room was clean and spacious with plenty of hot water and a separate shower and toilet area. Transportation was convenient, and there were many restaurants nearby. The underground parking lot was large with plenty of spaces. It was very close to the hospital, and the service was excellent. The room had a thermometer and medical disinfection facilities. It was a quiet place to sleep."

"This was my first time staying in a 'di keng yuan' (pit dwelling), and it was a really unique experience. The owner's family runs the 'Lao Jia Yin Xiang Di Keng Yuan B&B,' and this is their actual family courtyard where three generations have lived for over 50 years. The room facilities were excellent. The bed was huge, and the pillows were so soft. Our family had plenty of space. There was an electric blanket, so we didn't feel cold at night. Plus, the pit dwelling itself naturally stays warm in winter and cool in summer, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The room was very clean and tidy, with a TV and complimentary drinking water. The bathroom facilities were also complete, very clean, and odor-free. The owner's family clearly does a great job with upkeep. The B&B is also very close to the scenic area, less than a kilometer away, so transportation is very convenient. Parking is free, and you can park right above the courtyard. The owner's cooking was delicious; every dish was to our taste. Breakfast was only 10 yuan per person and a great deal, with fried dough sticks, pancakes, local side dishes, eggs, corn, and millet porridge – a complete and very affordable spread. Overall, this was a fantastic stay. The owner's family was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. I'll definitely be recommending this B&B to my friends when I get back!"

Situated in the core area of the Shanzhou Sunken Courtyard Scenic Area, it is about a 10-minute walk to the main entrance and the Folk Culture Park. Free from traffic jams and without the need for taxis, you can come and go at any time in the morning or evening, making it more convenient to visit the courtyards during off-peak hours and take crowd-free photos. It takes only 1–2 minutes by car to reach the scenic parking lot, and the homestay provides free private parking spaces. It is approximately a 25-minute drive to Swan Lake. The homestay fully preserves the traditional characteristics of loess cave dwellings—warm in winter and cool in summer—while equipped with modern facilities. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, private bathrooms, 24-hour hot water and TV. A variety of room types are available, including large double kang rooms and triple kang patio cave rooms (including triple kang rooms with mahjong), suitable for family trips, group travels with friends and small team-building activities. Free services include private parking, rural costume experience, luggage storage and a courtyard garden. Authentic local farm dishes are available. The host provides thoughtful hospitality and travel guidance for local attractions. At night, you can admire a sky full of stars from the patio; during the day, you can wander through the ancient village, explore the intangible cultural heritage of sunken courtyards, and take stunning folk-style photos.

No eateries nearby as this place was up on a hill, menu available to order meals fr homestay, price is reasonable and quite delicious. We enjoyed our stay here, kids like it too as it was an unique experience to stay underground. Will recommend this place."

"I took my parents on a self-driving tour in several relatively niche cities before May Day. I drove all the way from Linzhou, Dengfeng, and Luoyang to Sanmenxia. I was very lucky to stay in this hotel. First of all, the experience Hanting gave me was so great. It has really improved a lot in the past few years. I have stayed here a few times before and the feeling is average. This time I chose Hanting in both Linzhou and Sanmenxia. The improvement in health facilities and services is visible to the naked eye. The lady at the front desk is warm and thoughtful, with a smile Warm and friendly, this is the first impression of a city. My good impression of this city comes from that smile. The parking lot behind the hotel is large, so you don’t have to worry about parking. The room is clean and tidy. I just suggest that the pillows should be half high. Several restaurants downstairs are also very good, delicious and not expensive.
