"Environment: The environment is quite good. Stepping out from the first floor, you're greeted by a mountain view, perfect for quietly relaxing. The common area on the first floor is also great, which is definitely a plus. Cleanliness: Very poor. The bathroom cleanliness is subpar. If you're particular about hygiene, be aware. Also, having mixed-gender occupants on the same floor sharing a bathroom is quite inconvenient. Hostels I've stayed in before at least had bathrooms that weren't so mini and generally this unhygienic. Room: It's alright. There's a faint woody scent. The bed curtains seem quite old, as most of the hooks have fallen off. Perhaps booking a private room (double bed) would be better. Service: Very frustrating. I arrived quite early, and the beds weren't fully booked, but I was assigned the most inconvenient, hardest-to-climb bed in the corner. I then had to go up and down five flights of stairs twice to change it. Overall, it's just so-so."

"This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and everytime I have enjoyed my stay. The boss is lovely and friendly, even using an umbrella while it's raining to help put our luggage in our Didi and make sure we got to our Didi as dry as possible. The service is still lovely even after a year. The beds are comfortable and the views from the room is beautiful. Will definitely be back if I ever visit Yangshuo again."

"Comfortable wide bed, working ac, towel provided and unlimited free waterbottles. Very nice host. While I was there it was unfortunate because they were renovating the kitchen. The downside was that the toilet stank of cigarettes and the shower wasn't separated from the rest of the toilet so i assume it would get messy if there were 6 people staying at a room at the same time. Nonetheless for the crazy cheap price I think it was worth it. Very good location too, slightly outside the busy Central bit with many smaller food places."

"This hotel is perfect for exploring the Yulong River and the 'Impression Liu Sanjie' show if you're driving. The staff helped us find parking nearby, and it was super convenient for cycling around to see the beautiful scenery. The mountain-lodge atmosphere was so gentle and restorative."

"Super nice place to stay. The lady at the reception who we also think was the owner, was super friendly and professional. She was also speaking in English, which was super nice, as we did not have to use any translation apps like in other hotels. The room was clean and nice, with a balcony. We loved the balcony, as we were sitting during the night and enjoying the sound of nature. The hotel also offers food at the restaurant at the rooftop with a nice view. The location is amazing with people selling things under your balcony, close to the shops and restaurants from one side, whilst also close to the river and all the attractions on the other. Also, this is the exact location where you can go up to Laozhai mountain for the breathtaking view, the hiking route literally starts less than a minute away from the hotel. (P.S. please make sure you understand that the way up the mountain is very steep, with no build steps/stair, we literally climb up rocks - do not go when its dark). "The hotel is very clean and the rooms are well-maintained. It seems to be a newly developed area as the access roads aren't fully paved yet, so having a car would be more convenient. I thought staying a bit further out would be quieter, but there were about seven or eight people chatting loudly in the ground-floor gazebo until 11:30 PM. When I finally went upstairs, because my room was close to others, there were guests with a dog, and the barking and shouting went on until past midnight before it finally quieted down. It's very close to the 'Impression Liu Sanjie' show, and there are many restaurants nearby. We went to Chunji Roasted Goose in West Street, which was a bit pricey but reliable."

"Had a wonderful stay at this hotel (Yangshuo Homestay) The room quality was excellent very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a cozy bed and all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed it very much. Location: It is within walking distance to West Street, which is perfect for shopping, food, and nightlife. Nearby you can also easily visit Lijiang (Li River), Yangshuo Park, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. 🖤 Overall, a great place to stay with good value for money. Highly recommend and prices are lower according to the hotel.The exterior of the hotel is quite good and one can easily rent a scooty if one wants."

"It was off-season, so there weren't many people, and it was quiet at night, which was great for sleeping. However, after new guests checked into the room next door the next day, I could clearly hear noise, so the soundproofing isn't very good. Everything else was fine. My room faced west, so it got very hot and bright in the afternoon. The bathroom was outside the toilet area, and water easily splashed onto the floor, making it very slippery. That was a bit of a downside. There were lots of BBQ places nearby at night, and the food was decent."

"Facilities: The amenities are brand new and very comprehensive. The windows are well soundproofed, and the blackout curtains are a nice touch. They even provide toilet seat covers, a fridge, and a microwave – very thoughtful. Cleanliness: Clean. Service: I'm heading to Liuzhou today and wanted to explore a bit this morning, so I left my luggage at the front desk. When I came back to pick it up, I realized I had left some items behind, and the housekeeping staff had kindly gathered them and put them with my luggage. So considerate! ❤️ 【Shu She】Butler Service: They offer electric scooter rentals at a very reasonable price. Since I arrived in the afternoon, I asked the front desk about the rental duration, and they graciously charged me for only half a day. They also sell tickets for local shows and attractions, which is really convenient."
