"Pros: 1. The location is excellent. Wanda Plaza is downstairs, and the Three Gorges Tourist Center is just across the street. 2. No need to wake up early for group tours. For the Two Gorges and One Dam tour, the meeting time is 7:20 AM. I could go downstairs at 7:10 AM, grab breakfast at 7-Eleven, and still make it to the meeting point, which was really nice. 3. The room offered a partial view of the Yangtze River and the bridge, which was a pleasant surprise. 4. The front desk's response time to issues and their solutions were quite satisfactory. Cons: 1. The soundproofing is a serious problem. Around 1 AM, I could clearly hear conversations and other activities from the next room, almost as if the sounds were surrounding me. When I knocked on the wall, it sounded like a wooden partition. 2. Hot water supply at Wanda Apartment is insufficient. If you shower late at night, you might not have hot water. 3. It's not a 24-hour concierge service, so any issues reported late at night have to wait until the next day to be resolved."

(FANTASTIC restaurant up the street, taking a RIGHT exiting the hotel, walk up maybe 75 meters and it is across the street- modern design, bright lighting, excellent food, fun/awesome staff. Stores located in same direction); Very nice desk old lady, messages returned in reasonable time. Site has no English markings. Room appears to have been smoked in- scent of it, yellowing of all things- needs full cleaning and paint job. Bed otherwise comfortable. Bathroom adequate. Functional and affordable for solo male backpacker. Accessible to 3 Gorges Dam by going to the Tourist Center bus station, next to EAST HSR station. Local busses very useful, efficient, and cheap. I was able to get to the 3 Gorges Dam Tourist Center and return entirely by AMap Global app (essential in China) and busses, for less than $10USD."

"This hotel is good and centrally located, and the counter staff are helpful. However, our experience was spoilt by several guests smoking profusely in the small enclosed hotel reception. The cigarette smoke would also seep into the guest rooms especially those just next to the counter. There should be constant reminders eg a big sign to remind guests that smoking is not allowed in enclosed space."

The hotel also has a washing machine on-site (laundry detergent is also provided) and can store our luggage so that we can enjoy our last day in Yichang. However, please aware they not provide toiletries and no fringe on site. The front desk staff is nice and suggest a nice local restaurant for our dinner. He also response very quickly on our enquiry via WeChat. The room is definitely value for money."

The ground floor reception area was clean and tidy, and the check-in process was seamless.
