"My stay was reasonable for the price. My first room, on the 1st floor, was older and had broken curtains. I was moved to another room, which was a bit cold, and I struggled with the temperature. However, the staff were friendly and provided me with extra blankets. If you ask well in advance, you can organize a late check-out. The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants, bus routes, and the airport. An Uber to the city centre costs around €30 one way. The area is very safe and clean, with several other hotels nearby. Breakfast can be paid for on a day-to-day basis, which is a plus 👍."

"There were stains on the bath towels, hair on the pillow, and lots of dust on the floor. It said there was a shared kitchen, but I was told there wasn't one. Therefore, I couldn't use the refrigerator or electric kettle, making meals extremely difficult. I thought I was smelling a strange smell coming from somewhere, and it was the red cloth draped over the futon at my feet... At night, I could hear the people next door talking, the toilet, and even doors opening and closing. The TV worked, but there was so much static that it was impossible to watch. Do you really need four pillows in a single room? I always leave my room key at the front desk, but security is lax, and it feels like they don't check who's in which room."

"1) The location is excellent, right next to the metro station in the city center, very close to the Opera House, and not far from Place de la Concorde. 2) It's convenient and safe. There's a Carrefour supermarket and a local organic supermarket nearby, with plenty of dining options. 3) The croissants at breakfast are incredibly large and fluffy – highly recommended! They're much better than many outside bakeries 😋! 4) The staff are willing to speak English and are helpful. They offer free luggage storage and will provide a hairdryer upon request."

"It's a bit of a walk from Gare du Nord to get there. It's not a particularly large hotel; 'inn' might be a more accurate description. There's an elevator, but it's very small, probably only fitting three or four people at most. Breakfast is the same every day. The bread seems to be freshly baked each morning – on my first few mornings in Paris, when I wasn't quite over the jet lag, I could smell the aroma of bread right from my room. However, after seeing cockroaches in the dining area on the third morning, I completely lost my appetite. The service is decent, and there's a hot water dispenser in the dining area."

"Let me preface this by saying I booked in January, so it might have been less crowded, which probably made for a better experience. As a solo traveler staying for 3 nights, I was initially a bit nervous about booking a hostel, but it exceeded all my expectations. The hostel isn't far from the subway exit, making it convenient to get to various attractions, and the walk there feels safe, with parents picking up kids and people out for a run. There's also a river outside the hostel, offering a nice view. The front desk is on the first floor, next to a restaurant and bar. Their burgers are good, and guests get a discount. There's also a lounge. On Saturday, while eating, I noticed three burly men guarding the first floor, which made me feel very secure. I booked a bunk bed, and the mattress was quite soft. The bedding was clean, and each bunk had a curtain, charging port, and reading light. Pulling the curtain and turning on the light created a happy little private space. There's a sink in the room, and each floor has separate men's and women's restrooms and showers, which are cleaned every morning, so the environment is quite good. The shower faucets dispense water for a set period after pressing, likely to conserve water. The front desk provides free towels, which you can return to the recycling bin at the front desk after use."

You can walk from Notre Dame to the Louvre, then through the Tuileries Garden, Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, and finally the Eiffel Tower – it's a perfect one-day walk."

"we had a very pleasant stay at HotelF1 Paris Saint Ouen Marché Aux Puces with my friends. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized and smooth. GGuest UserI had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hostel! The facilities are top-notch and the environment is very well-maintained, but what truly stands out is the staff. On my first night, I struggled to sleep due to a loud snorer in my room. When I brought this up the next morning, the team was incredibly understanding and professional—they seamlessly moved me to a different room without any hassle. I’ve slept like a baby ever since! A special mention to the lady at the front desk—she is so kind and always greets you with a warm smile and a sweet 'Merci.' It’s those small, genuine interactions that made me feel so welcome in Paris. This place is proof that a hostel can be both high-quality and full of heart. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThere are paid luggage lockers available on Level 6 near the café area. I rented a medium-sized locker, as the large lockers were sold out. However, there was no clear indication of the locker dimensions prior to purchase. After completing the payment, I realized that the medium locker was not large enough to accommodate my 24” luggage. As a result, I had no alternative but to leave my luggage in a corner of the room. I returned to the property to check in at approximately 8:30–9:00 PM. Upon approaching the front desk, the staff member informed me that her shift had ended and that her colleague was scheduled to take over. However, her colleague was not present at the counter and was reportedly at the Level 6 café, as seen on the CCTV monitor. I was asked to wait for more than 10 minutes, and in total, the process took approximately 15 minutes before she eventually assisted with registering my passport. While I appreciate that she completed the check-in for me, I was unclear why the registration could not have been handled immediately, as it only required a few minutes. Additionally, the staff member who was scheduled to be on duty did not appear during this time. Overall, the room was clean, and I particularly like the curtains, which provided good privacy. Theres spaces to keep our shoes and luggages in the room, and remember to bring a lock padif you worried things might get stolen. The shared bathrooms were maintained at an acceptable level of cleanliness. I had a pleasant four-night stay, and the location is very convenient, with easy access to the metro. VVirgiSExcellent location. Very friendly staff. The room was basic but perfectly adequate. We were able to rest peacefully and without any issues. The bathroom was super clean, and so was the room. While they changed the towels daily, the room floor wasn't cleaned during our entire stay (or at least, it wasn't noticeable). The breakfast is basic but decent, and in our case, it was more than enough. Definitely worth considering in Paris, given its excellent price.

UUncle HsiungThe room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the location couldn't be better – right across from the North Station, with a metro entrance just outside. It was literally a two-to-three-minute walk from the Eurostar platform. The staff were diligent, responsible, and friendly. One time, I needed to print something at midnight, and Harold on duty immediately helped me out – a big thanks to him! The only downside to the hotel is the poor soundproofing. My room was next to a large room that could sleep five people. Luckily, out of my seven-night stay, there were only two nights when someone was next door: once it was a family with two crying children, and another time it was a group of young people…

CCHONG SIAU HWAI had a wonderful stay at Lennon by Avalon Hotel! The location was perfect—just a few minutes’ walk from Gare du Nord, which made traveling with an infant much easier. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke good English, which was a huge relief after a long journey. The room was clean, cozy, and surprisingly quiet despite being in a busy area. They also provided a baby cot upon request, which made our stay more comfortable. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped, and we appreciated the daily housekeeping. There were plenty of food options nearby, and the convenience of having supermarkets and cafes within walking distance was a plus. Overall, it was a great value for money and ideal for families or couples looking for a comfortable stay in central Paris. I’d definitely come back!

GGuest UserCheap hotel, convenient location. For this price, there's really nothing to complain about. There's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage yourself. As for soundproofing, at this price point, you shouldn't expect much – anyone who's particular about soundproofing wouldn't stay here anyway. The underfloor heating was excellent, very warm. I thought it was pretty good, just the bathroom was a bit dirty. The cleaning gentleman (the Black uncle) was very nice! 👍

GGuest UserIt was my second time in this hotel, I chose it again because it is very well connected by metro with big nodes such as the Gare du Nord and Bastille. The room is simple, clean and use-friendly, with a good bed, at (for Paris) very interesting prices. I specified to have a room on the back of the building, and this has been successful. Friendly staff. I was going to get a snack in the evening and found the next morning myrs around the waste box.

The nearest bus stop was only a 3-minute walk away, while access to the underground metro was around 10 to 14 minutes on foot. The tram stop was also within a 10 to 14-minute walking distance. The building itself was nice, clean, and felt fresh. Separate lockers were available, which could be used by paying a fee, allowing guests to store their luggage even after check-out. However, the security was not very good. In case of any incident, the staff does not actively help and usually just provide an email address or ask you to contact the police. It’s important to keep this in mind and stay cautious during your stay.
