A great trip, but unfortunately the time was too short stayed for one night, set a separate room and a main building, the main building was upgraded to a super luxurious suite. There is a great English aunt at the front desk. The communication is very pleasant. The food is the best in Izu. I hope I have the opportunity to stay again next time!

The hotel environment is excellent, with sunny rooms and sea views. A self-service snack bar is available at check-in in the afternoon, offering alcoholic beverages, juices, tea, etc. You can even make your own ramen for late-night snacks, and breakfast includes a self-service grilled fish buffet; a very pleasant experience. The hotel has a public bath with Pola shower amenities; there's even a manga corner. The hotel is located halfway up a mountain. There's a shuttle bus, but it's infrequent. I recommend taking a taxi from Atami Station up the mountain; it's a 7-minute ride and costs approximately 680 yen. If you have light luggage, it's about a 12-minute walk, but the uphill path is a bit strenuous.

Facilities: Shared showers, bookshelves, a lounge, gas stove, and rice cooker. Cleanliness: Quite clean. Environment: Very nice, close to Atami tram station. Service: Excellent. We were supposed to check in at 6 PM, but they let us in earlier because it was cold outside. Economical and good value for money.

Not recommended for a newbie. Check-in procedure was really complicated for foreigners, making a call to the host to get the password of the key box. Without Japan number I contacted the host by e-mail in Japanese instead that took some time. 500 yen onsen fee is compulsory. You need to pay more for a towel or amenities. The room and communal area with a small kitchen was good.
