"The hotel is very close to the subway station, but the subway exit directly in front of it was a bit hard to find the first time. The front desk staff were professional and spoke excellent English, even providing information in Chinese. The room was quite small but had all the necessary facilities. The hygiene was outstanding; I barely saw any dust. The hotel breakfast was decent, leaning towards Korean style. The meat dishes were a bit limited, but there was a good variety of staple foods (bread, Jajangmyeon, rice). There were many types of kimchi to choose from. The drinks were a bit plain, with only orange juice, hot soup, and hot coffee available."

"I had to get in late and leave super early because of work and my flight schedules, and here it wasn’t a problem. I walked in to someone waiting to check me in even though it was after 10pm and ready to check me out at 5 in the morning just as nicely. They even offered to help me get a taxi back to the airport because it was way too early for buses to arrive, and then stood outside to make sure it was the right taxi pulling up for me before I left."

"This is the best accommodation for cleanliness, friendliness, and value for money. I highly recommend it without hesitation. It was even better that there was a smoking area on the balcony at the end of the hallway."

"I believe this is my first time staying in a guesthouse in Korea. I thought it was a regular hotel. The location is great, only a few minutes away from the airport as I wanted. Coffee shops, restaurants, CU and 7 elevens are right in the area. The room was very nice, spacious, and pretty much had everything you could need...even a full size refrigerator and freezer. Nice views outside. I didn't get the automatic email right away but I was able to get in touch once I called the number to get my room info."

"I think the view is the best on Yeongjongdo. Perhaps because it is on a high floor, it felt like I was floating on the sea. A pretty pigeon flew onto the terrace and I thought it was just staying for a bit, but in the morning, it brought another one and played for quite a while before leaving haha. The room was clean, the shower pressure was strong, and the bed was comfortable. When I arrived and was checking in, I was wandering around the lobby when I happened to meet the manager. I heard directly from them that Trip.com had provided information to the Palace without including my contact details, which is why they couldn't contact me directly, and that the Palace had been trying to reach Trip.com themselves. My questions and the issue were resolved at once. They even guided me to my room and took such meticulous care of me that my slight discomfort completely disappeared. I have such a pleasant memory that I think I will visit the Palace again next time. I had a comfortable stay. Thank you~"

"Hotel is really clean, the staff is really poilte and helpful. What I like most is the free morning shuttle service catered to the airport it really helps to cut down our time and hassle for families traveling with big and heavy luggages. Not forgetting to mention the 24/7 self help bar is really good. It caters milk, sandwiches and even instant noodles for guests. The cleanliness is awesome. Will visit this hotel again with my family nest time. Really recommend this Hotel."

"This was my first time staying at this guesthouse, and it was over New Year's. I understood it was self-check-in when I booked, but the check-in process was so unusual and unclear at the time of booking that it took me over an hour just to get into my room. If there had been a detailed explanation of the check-in process before I booked, I wouldn't have made the reservation. First, I felt that the owner or staff probably assumes check-ins happen during daylight hours. I checked in late at night, and there were no specific restrictions on check-in time. However, there was no lighting near the automatic door, so I had to use my phone's flashlight to read the instructions on the wall. The pre-arrival instructions only included an image showing the entrance location and text describing the room number. The room number itself wasn't provided via email or message beforehand; I had to find a paper that was described as being 'at the entrance.' In reality, when I arrived, that paper was actually taped to the building's wall, which contradicted the instructions and added to the confusion. I couldn't even reach anyone by phone late at night, which was incredibly frustrating. I really think the check-in system needs improvement. The room itself was as expected and generally clean. However, a major issue was that the hairdryer was broken. I only realized this just before checking out, so nothing could be done, and I had to leave without being able to dry my hair, which was very disappointing. I'm basing this review on my extensive experience staying at many accommodations. *The photos I'm posting were taken during daylight hours at check-out."
