"I keep sending 5 stars because one person at the front desk is nice and competent. I was so disgusted though when I picked up my passport from the shelf today to find that the cover was molded from just being in the room. They have serious mold issues. One room smelled like a cabbage took a ****. The housekeeping solution was air freshener instead of finding the cause and correcting it. The best room had no bad smell, but clothes I never wore had spots of mold. You can see the plaster bubbling in the halls and around the room. Most of the reception staff uses their phones in speaker mode without an earpiece, so you hear it echoing down the halls. Their off-site manager calls and threatens their salaries and work/immigration status, and everyone hears that, too. The female reception is extremely loud and flirty with old men who behave inappropriately. You need ear plugs. Most of the families are Muslim, and they lock the children out of the room to be intimate. You hear them running up and down the halls. This morning I was woken up by a small child knocking on my door and running off like it was a game. I saw Al Zain try to scam a Chinese man charging 91rm for his 18rm meal today if I hadn't stepped in and covered his bill. I was so disappointed because I ate their every day for 5 weeks. But there are many restaurants in the area so choose better."

"Traveling to Taipei with my two kids, we had a layover at Kuala Lumpur Airport. Since we had an early flight the next morning, I didn't want to rush. There were only three of us, and the Capsule had a triple room at a reasonable price, so I decided to stay there. It was also a good opportunity for the kids to experience a shared bathroom and feel like the airport was our home away from home. Initially, the kids were a bit hesitant, but once they saw how clean the bathrooms and toilets were, and that toiletries were well-stocked, they were fine. There were also hairdryers, irons, and refreshments provided, which was a thoughtful touch. Although the room was small, it had everything we needed, including indoor slippers, towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, earplugs, and eye masks. Our beds were on the floor, and there were stairs to access the restrooms, so it might not be suitable for the elderly or those with mobility issues. The room was a bit stuffy, but otherwise, everything else was great. The common area had tea bags, desks, and chairs. It was a nice spot to work or chat in the evening."

"Personal view of my 2 nights stay. Location is very good for on my business trip. Restaurant and grocery shop next to this hotel, good. Room condition is acceptable. Bathroom is acceptable. Only TV channels is limited. Toothbrush not provided which is expected. Overall is good for me."

"An average hotel, but thankfully it's still quite new, so everything is clean. I hope they can maintain it. I just didn't expect it to be a twenty-minute drive from the airport."

"I chose this hotel for one night for a transit. It's close to the airport, and the hotel has a cafe and markets nearby. The staff were polite, and the room was clean, but a bit stuffy due to the lack of a window. It's good for the price. There's a small Pizza Hut, but they cook well. A taxi to/from the airport costs 30-35 Ringgit."

"Had a 7 hour layover in KLIA T1. This was a lifesaver. The layout is like a Japan capsule hotel, just a corridor with lots of sealed QS bunk beds. The beds are comfortable with an airflow and a/c. It’s a low ceiling so if you’re tall be careful when sitting up. There is a shared bathroom at the end of the corridor with a shower attached. There are lockers on the outside of the hotel as there is no space for them in the hotel / capsule. I advise take the change of clothes, toothbrush, toiletries and medicine into an easily accessible carry on bag. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and lots of coffee choices too. The bathrooms need a better absorption system as standing on that mat with socks will lead to them being soaked ( people step straight out of the shower onto it.) I wish these were around in 2010 when I slept on the floor of this airport - one of the worst nights sleep I ever had. For only 99 bucks this was worth every cent."

"They moved me to a room on another floor because the upper floors don't have wifi. Because they're renovating after years of Chinese ownership, I think they didn't realize they had never cleaned the room. They put in the new furniture, mattress, and bedding, but they hadn't actually cleaned the room. The room was quiet. The younger woman's attitude at the front desk isn't my favorite."

"The cleanliness is perfect. There's coffee. The soundproofing isn't great, though. I guess it depends on who your neighbors are. If they're just sleeping, then it's fine. But!!! The clock in the room was a real problem; I couldn't sleep at all because it ticked so loudly. Plus, it was running fast. Nearby, there's delicious and affordable food. (Laksa for only 12 RM and really tasty ice cream next door for 2 RM). I took a taxi here at 4 PM for 17 RM (Grab) and at 4 AM for 29 RM (inDrive)."
