"The young lady at the hotel was very enthusiastic; she even came out to help with our luggage, and her service attitude was excellent. The hotel room was spacious, looked clean and tidy, and all the disposable amenities were readily available. The hotel's location is great, right next to Jinlong Shopping Plaza, and very close to the Summer Resort, within walking distance. It's also not far from the Eight Outer Temples scenic area, about a 10 yuan taxi ride away. I had a wonderful stay this time, and I'll choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengde."

"Let me start by praising the hotel's strong points. The room is very spacious, and the amenities are comprehensive. The mini-fridge is a thoughtful touch, and the lobby is beautiful. I especially want to commend the auntie at the restaurant; she was very warm and provided excellent service, a big thumbs up! However, there are some downsides: 1. The cleanliness of the hotel room needs improvement. I never ate anything in the room, but the next day when I went to pull out the chair to work, I saw it was covered in BBQ debris. 2. The smell was extremely unpleasant. As soon as I opened the door, there was an indescribable odor throughout the room. It was like this upon check-in, and even after leaving the windows open all day, the smell was still present when I returned. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone sensitive to smells. The building itself is generally very good, and there's ample parking. The only drawback is that the surrounding facilities are limited, so it's more suitable for guests who are driving."

"The hotel is directly opposite the Bifengmen parking lot, and it's about a 20-minute walk to Lizheng Gate of the Mountain Resort. The quad room with bunk beds was very family-friendly for our family with two children. While the hotel's facilities are fairly basic, I must particularly praise their excellent 9.9 Mountain Resort day tour and the front desk staff. First, regarding the Mountain Resort day tour: it lasted a full 5 hours, and our guide, Xiao Qi, didn't waste a single minute. He provided thorough explanations, meticulously planned our route, and there were absolutely no sales pitches or additional charges. For such an honest and dedicated guide, the hotel deserves a huge commendation! And then there's the front desk staff – every single person was beaming with smiles. They offered detailed information, provided attentive service, and went above and beyond to assist with any request. They even helped us cut a watermelon we bought, booked tickets for a show, and thoughtfully provided cushions for us as we were heading out. Truly heartwarming service! Hidden gem: Just down the stairs next to the hotel is the Temple of Confucius. Plus, there's a highly popular lamb soup spot nearby, serving delicious *shaobing* (sesame flatbreads)!"

"This hotel deserves a five-star rating for its front desk service, which was far superior to the treatment I received at the Yage Huanju Hotel in Beidaihe. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, thoughtful, and anticipated all our needs. Although the parking lot is small, the attendants proactively helped us park the car. The restaurant staff were patient and provided timely service. All the hotel staff made us feel well taken care of and right at home. The only drawbacks were that the room was a bit small, and the ceiling height was low, which felt a little cramped. The outer pane of the double-glazed window was quite dirty, likely due to the difficulty of cleaning it."

"I took my mom to the Chengde Mountain Resort and other attractions. I chose this hotel on Ctrip mainly because of its location, and it was indeed in a great location. It was a hasty decision, but it was a pleasant surprise! Unlike many B&Bs and camping options, this is a hidden gem nestled in a valley, offering a sense of privacy. The entire site seamlessly blends in with the surrounding nature, creating a seamless experience. Speaking of which, a beachfront hotel has a private beach, and here, there's even a private forest! Enjoy the mountain freely, and both adults and children can find their own unique adventure! In just a few days, we enjoyed the convenience of climbing the mountain with our eyes open or closed. And there's a truly amazing barista! The accommodations were also very comfortable and clean! It was a great place to bring our kids! Looking forward to the early completion of the private hot spring courtyard!

There are several delicious barbecue and hot pot restaurants nearby; although small, the food is great! Parking is convenient; a beautiful river is just a 200-meter walk from the parking lot. When I got up in the morning, I opened the curtains and shocked the children. It was so beautiful. Come to escape the heat next summer. In the evening, a bonfire party was held intimately. This hotel offers great value for money, and even includes a free guided tour of the Mountain Resort. I have to commend the guide; their explanations were incredibly detailed and easy to understand – truly made the trip worthwhile. Also, a big shout-out to Xiao Hu at the front desk. Their service was exceptional; they actively helped me find a parking spot and coordinated the charging station late at night. I'd definitely come back to Vienna Hotel Chengde Mountain Resort if I get the chance.

A person driving from Chifeng plans to go to Saihanba to see. Originally, this hotel was not my first choice, but I clicked to see the hotel environment taken by netizens, and I lived here immediately! When I arrived at the hotel, the beauty in the photo appeared in front of me. In fact, you don't have to go to the surrounding attractions to enjoy the surrounding blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and green waters. 1. The hotel and resort are separate; I stayed at the resort this time. 2. The resort is cheap, but the facilities are generally average. 3. The soundproofing in the rooms is really bad; most people bring children, and the children's noise is very clear. 4. I also live in a European-style manor! At work, there are always crowds of people every day, but here, every room is really independent, so it is much cleaner. The manor was much cleaner and larger than expected, and it took an hour to walk around. I thought that such a large manor would be messy, but I didn't expect that the aunts here would clean it every day and the grass would be freshly mowed. I originally wanted to book Wuzui, but the room was fully booked. I went over to check it out and sure enough I still wanted to stay in Wuzui! Has its own small yard, tables and chairs! Hope to stay there next time!

This stay at the Holiday Inn Express exceeded my expectations. Before coming to Chengde, I did a lot of research, and my previous experiences at Holiday Inn Express hotels elsewhere had them feeling quite old. So, I was a bit hesitant when booking this one, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! The hotel has been recently renovated, so the facilities are very new, everything is clean, and the service is attentive. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere, and there are all sorts of restaurants, big and small, nearby, so dining is a breeze.

The hotel's location is pretty good, and the surroundings are very quiet. It's only about a 19-minute drive to Jinshanling Great Wall. However, the Jinshanling exit on the G45 Beijing-Chengde Expressway is closed, so you have to take a detour. When there are fewer guests, breakfast is served individually with generous portions. When it's busy, they open a buffet with a wider variety of options. The room was spacious, great for families. But there were a lot of ladybugs (or 'stink bugs' as some call them) that somehow got into the room; we had to clear them out as soon as we checked in. The bathroom drain was clogged, so the facilities definitely need some maintenance. It's probably okay for a 1-2 night stay.
