For example, the shower and toilet are in the same area within the bathroom, with no separation. This means if someone is using the toilet, no one can shower, and vice-versa. 2. **Misleading Advertising**: Figures 1 and 2 in the hotel's promotional images, which are crucial for customers before booking, are completely different from what you see upon entering the room (as shown in the last three pictures). I'd like to ask the hotel management: where is the bathtub from your promotional photos? It's turned into a concrete basin, and it's incredibly dirty inside. There was no prior notification upon check-in – it's a complete mismatch from what was advertised. 3. **Hazardous Staircase**: The stairs in the room are extremely steep. You have to be very careful going up, and when going down, you *must* descend backward as per the hotel's instructions, because it's impossible to go down facing forward without falling. 4. **No Internal Elevator**: The hotel doesn't have its own internal elevator, and the staircases within the hotel are also very steep, making it genuinely difficult to carry luggage upstairs. ## Hygiene: The overall hygiene in the room is acceptable. The wooden floor on the second level is clean, but that dirty carpet really shouldn't be there. ## Environment: The hotel has been converted from a two-story commercial building. It's not noisy at night and is conveniently located within walking distance of the ancient city's snack street, Nanqiao Bridge, and the subway station. ## Service: Service is just okay. After checking in, they provide some guide articles about nearby attractions and restaurants, but that's about it."

"What a fantastic experience! This hidden gem of a guesthouse, tucked away by the river, truly exceeded all expectations. The room decor was tastefully gentle with its own unique style, and the color scheme was incredibly soothing. The bedding was soft and clean, and the cleaning staff did a very thorough job. The private viewing balcony faces directly onto the flowing river – just imagine setting out some snacks and tea, watching the gentle current, and gazing at the 'blue tears' phenomenon; the ambiance was truly magical! The room also came equipped with a projector, and the washroom area was cleverly designed and spotlessly clean, with great attention to detail. The riverside wooden deck dining area is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a wonderfully comfortable, verdant setting. 👍 The on-site food was amazing! The fresh-cut beef, shrimp, and mushroom hotpot ingredients were all incredibly fresh – we even saw them being delivered. And this unique purple peach ginger appetizer was beautifully presented and tasted authentic. The staff were attentive and thoughtful, and very kind. The food was delicious, without any artificial flavors or spices. You can enjoy both dining and accommodation all in one place, offering incredible value for money. I've already saved it and will definitely recommend it to friends and family."

"This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic! It boasts the best viewpoint of Baopingkou, and it's incredibly relaxing to sit on the observation deck, enjoy the breeze, and sip on the complimentary tea. After dropping off our luggage, we headed down to the Dujiangyan entrance. We took the scenic bus inside the park to Yuzui, then crossed the bridge and hiked up the mountain. The guesthouse is conveniently located at the halfway point exit, so there's no need to walk any further down. It was the perfect loop, and the intensity was manageable for both seniors and children."

"The room was great! Downstairs is the Guankou Ancient City pedestrian street, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. There's also a small garden on the fourth floor, full of cosmos flowers. The hostess provided excellent and enthusiastic service. Overall, my friend and I had a fantastic stay."

"I had a wonderful stay at Starway Hotel Dujiangyan and would happily stay here again. The location was excellent. It was within easy walking distance of Guanxian Ancient Town, the South Bridge (Nanqiao), the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, and the lively streets filled with local restaurants, cafés, and shops. There were also convenience stores nearby, making it a perfect base for exploring Dujiangyan on foot. The ladies at the front desk were exceptional. Although we didn’t speak the same language, they were incredibly patient and friendly, using a translation app to communicate with me and always making sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. After spending the day sightseeing in the summer heat, it was such a relief to return to a room with excellent air conditioning that kept it nice and cool. Unfortunately, I had to leave early and missed breakfast, but the staff kindly offered to prepare a takeaway breakfast for me, which was a thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated. They also looked after my luggage for the entire day after I checked out, allowing me to enjoy more sightseeing before my train without having to carry my bags. The genuine kindness and hospitality of the staff made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Starway Hotel Dujiangyan to anyone visiting this beautiful city."

"A Hidden Treasure This guesthouse was one of the best surprises of our trip. Its location is perfect—right in the heart of the ancient town on the pedestrian street, making it easy to explore, find great food, and access the nearby hiking trails. From the outside, the entrance looks like a small, unassuming restaurant, so we weren't expecting much. However, the room completely exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The large tatami-style bed was soft, and the bedding was of excellent quality, making for a wonderful night's sleep. The restaurant is also worth trying. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the chicken soup with ginkgo nuts. It was so flavorful that I even ate all the chicken skin—something I never do! The biggest highlight was the exceptional service. The staff created a dedicated WeChat group for each guest, so any questions or requests were answered almost instantly. Every evening, the owner also prepared a freshly made sweet dessert soup for every guest, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel truly welcomed. This place combines a great location, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again."

"A serene, ancient-style courtyard tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The owner has struck a great balance between aesthetics and practicality, which really shows in the details of the decor. The service is also superb, always attentive to our needs. There are two cats in the courtyard. On our first morning, we woke up to the two mischievous little ones playing right by our bed—it was absolutely adorable. The nearby Zhong Ya Zi (duck dish) is delicious and perfectly suited for Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai palates."
