"If you're looking for a place to truly unwind in Kenting, I highly recommend 35.5. The room was incredibly clean and spacious, and the bed was just the right firmness, ensuring we had excellent sleep every night. I especially loved the minimalist design of the room; it felt very calming and uncluttered. Even though the hotel is right by the main street, the soundproofing was surprisingly effective, completely blocking out the noise from outside. Xiaowan Beach is less than a 5-minute walk away, so we could easily stroll down to the beach in the evening, dip our feet in the water, and then return to the room for a relaxing bath. It was the perfect way to melt away all our stress. A big thank you to the guesthouse owner for providing such a wonderful space, allowing us to recharge before heading home!"

"Very good service of reception. Helped to booked car back to highspeedrail station as buses stop running cos of typhoon. Reception also gave recommendation to places to eat and where is still open. Helped to check if its still open as well. Room is very clean. Spacious. We got a free upgrade to ocean view room. Although typhoon disrupted our plans, this hostel definitely made it alot better. No complains. Feel well rested too."

"The location was perfect, right in front of Nanwan Beach and the bus stop. It's a great location for a leisurely stroll by the sea, but if you're looking to get to and from Hengchun, which has plenty to see, eat, and do, and you need to take a bus, I recommend renting a motorbike. You absolutely must try the breakfast!!!!!!! It's absolutely delicious!!!!!! The porridge, noodles, and banh mi are all delicious!!!! Definitely try the breakfast. I'll definitely be back for more. The hotel is cute and pretty, and the cats in the alley in front were adorable. Anyway, definitely try the breakfast."

"I've stayed at Seawall before, and I remember the air conditioning in the room being very quiet, not affecting my sleep quality at all. This time I stayed in a street-view room with a small balcony, and the AC was still very quiet. It's really important to get good rest when you're traveling. From the hotel entrance, you can see the Dawan seascape and the sunset, and Kenting Street is right behind the hotel. For us, who prioritize relaxation, it's a very suitable and convenient location. Seawall provides breakfast vouchers for a restaurant on the first floor of another building. It's quite simple, but it has everything you need, and I personally thought it was good."

At the accommodation, the rooms have air conditioning and a TV. Guests at Kenting Original Hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Kenting, like cycling and hiking. Gaoshanyan Fude Temple is 8 km from the hostel, while Great Bay Kenting Beach is 800 metres away. The nearest airport is Kaohsiung International Airport, 84 km from Kenting Original Hostel.
"It's only a 1-minute walk to the night market, and there's a convenience store right outside – fantastic! The bus stop is also very close. The accommodation has a forest theme. The hallway leading to the rooms is too dark, and there's a strange odor in the air. I suggest adding an air freshener in that area. There's a resident cat manager! The ground floor lobby is incredibly hot. Check-in is from 3 PM to 6 AM the next day, and check-out is before 11 AM. There are no hooks in the downstairs restroom, which is inconvenient. No water dispenser upstairs, also inconvenient. The staff helped carry my luggage to the room – excellent! The hangers in the drying area were full of rust – gross! The upstairs fridge is too small. My experience in the female dorm 8 lower bunk - single bed (Horse Stall): The mattress was a bit thin. The room's bathroom isn't separated for wet/dry areas. The locker in the room has no bottom, so items placed inside touch the floor directly. There are too few hooks by the bed, and no small table or shelf to put things on. At night, I occasionally heard car engine noises from outside."

GGuest UserBest accoms that we had so far!! Everything is really good, it’s right beside the sea, balcony has a nice view of the sea, bed was comfortable, shower facilities are really nice with a bathtub and good soap. They even gave drip coffee packets! Really such a steal for the price. 7-11 is right beside so you can get your supper fixes here 😋 Keep in mind their check in timing is by 2100!

郁郁卉The hotel's location is perfect, right next to the South Gate, and just a short walk to Hengchun Old Street. The room was quiet, comfortable, and very clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and polite. Definitely great value for money!

SSJJJJJThis guesthouse is excellent, and the owner is incredibly friendly and provides great service. The instant noodles and drinks in the lobby are all complimentary and self-service, which is super convenient for anyone wanting a late-night snack. The environment is lovely and very clean overall.

SSPA lovely, quaint inn very near the beach road. It wasn’t too busy when I was there, so I felt it was very quiet I the room and the area. The owners are a friendly older couple with limited English, but they were helpful and polite. Short walking distance to the night market in the evening, and also a short 5-min walk to the bus stop where you can get to and from Kaohsiung or nearby town Hengchun. The room is fairly large and had a small balcony. Comfortable bed, good water pressure, bigger sink and counter area in the bathroom than expected. I’d stay again.

WWenpingThe lady boss was very welcoming and waited for us even though we arrived late. It happened to be a typhoon when we were going there, but we couldn't get a refund on the website, so we had to ask the lady boss, and luckily she was willing to let us change the time. Thank you very much. The location is good. Just walk forward and you will see Nanwan Beach across the street. After getting up early in the morning and having breakfast at the B&B, you can go for a walk on the beach and then go back to the B&B to collect your things and check out. The time is just right~

SShawn TravelsIf your focus is purely to spend most of your time at the Nanwan Beach, Cat at Greece will be your choiced accommodation. As we were met with an off=peak situation, my family was the only ones staying at this hotel. We had trouble checking in as there were no one at the front desk to receive us as the property were not manned but monitored remotely. We took a while to get in touch with the hotel caretaker and that was done with the help of a 7-eleven convenience store staff reaching out to her. Amongst the properties we have stayed, Cat@Greece was the least proactive in ensuring we settled in safely. In my opinion, this hotel is suitable for stay only during summer and you must self-drive to have the convenience to explore the visitors' attractions.

江江正喜On the way to Kenting, I thought I'd see some really high-end hotels. I'd heard they didn't offer online booking before, but now they do, which is great for families with kids. I thought weekdays were fine, but because of traffic, I booked online. Comparing prices, $3009 for two people on weekdays was acceptable, that's typical for domestic travel. I probably wouldn't book on weekends. The room was okay, a bit dated. What surprised me was the price in Kenting – less than 1000 RMB on weekdays, but $3330 on weekends! It made me want to swear. The only downside was the lack of indoor slippers. The maintenance was okay, though. I often pass by, but I've never dared to stay because the price is outrageous. The room should have at least four pillows. I think they should keep the indoor slippers; they're not disposable, it makes a difference to the guests' experience. There are many other reviews, so I'll just list them all and see what I think! I didn't have breakfast, got up early to head back!
