The B&B is just a ten-minute walk to Nanao Beach and very close to Beiao Beach for viewing the bioluminescent sea, making it super convenient for water activities in summer. The island weather was cool, with a gentle sea breeze that kept it from feeling hot at all. Our itinerary was very relaxed: mornings were spent enjoying tea and reading in the B&B's courtyard. For lunch, we'd head to a recommended restaurant for freshly caught mussels and grouper, costing only 50-60 yuan per person – incredibly good value! In the afternoons, we visited attractions like Hualiao Lighthouse, Tiger Cave, and Cloud Mist Cave. The island is wonderfully quiet as there are no cars, and you can practically explore the entire place in flip-flops (except for the lighthouse, which requires a sightseeing shuttle). In the evening, we'd return to the B&B and watch the sunset by the pool. The sunset glow painted the entire bay red – it was so breathtaking it left us speechless. At night, we were lucky enough to see the bioluminescent sea again. The B&B staff even proactively took us to the beach to chase the 'blue tears' (bioluminescent plankton) – it was truly stunning! The service at Wuma B&B made us feel right at home. The owner helped us buy ferry tickets and offered valuable travel tips. Overall, our Hualiao Island trip was made even more perfect thanks to Wuma B&B. We're already looking forward to our next 'slow living' getaway!"
