"We had a perfect few days here over the May Day holiday! The hotel location is fantastic, right next to the beautiful Nanchangtu Beach. It's just a few minutes' walk to the sea, making it super convenient for swimming and playing in the waves. Our standard sea-view twin room was a wonderful surprise, with expansive views. Lying in bed and gazing at the sea was incredibly therapeutic. The room decor was stylish, clean, and tidy, and watching the sunset from the balcony was absolutely stunning. All the hotel facilities are new, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. This couples' trip exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it to everyone! ------ Booking the Yuyue Hotel this time was such a smart decision! The hotel is right next to Nanchangtu Beach, just a few minutes' walk downstairs to embrace the ocean – absolutely perfect for those of us looking for a relaxing holiday. Our room was a standard sea-view twin with unbeatable views; opening the curtains revealed the vast blue sea, making for fantastic photos. The hotel's hygiene was excellent, with great attention to detail. The facilities were also comprehensive, and the front desk lady's service attitude was particularly good, making us feel very welcome. Both the environment and service were impeccable; we'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Shengsi! ------ A very satisfying stay! My wife's take was that the interior facilities easily rival those of a five-star hotel. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom fixtures and hardware are all high-end brands – quality really shines through in the details. I was genuinely surprised to experience such modern smart home features and excellent water pressure on an island. The owner's dedication to maintaining such high standards for her guesthouse is truly impressive. Staying here allows you to enjoy the tranquility of nature while still ensuring a comfortable vacation. They can play games without leaving the room, creating a great atmosphere. The cleanliness is excellent; the floors, bedding, and tabletops are spotless and odorless. Amenities such as a bedside phone and tissue box are provided, and the facilities are new and in good working order. "Choosing this apartment was absolutely the right decision for bringing the kids to Shengsi for beach fun! The rooms were super spacious; the kids played with building blocks in the living room while we enjoyed tea and the sea view from the balcony, without disturbing each other. The best part was that it was only a 3-minute walk to Nanchangtu Beach, and the kids didn't want to leave the sand, taking so many amazing photos! The owner was incredibly kind, and the kids collected a whole bucket of seashells on the beach to take home as souvenirs. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Shengsi; the kids said they wanted to ”keep the sea in their dreams!”"

"So beautiful island and cute hotel. For me was really big surprise that near Shanghai have such a small and cute place. We choose this hotel because of the pool. It’s was so amazing to open balcony and see u private pool. Actually one pool is sharing between 2 room but nobody swim, so everything was only for us. Also the staff in the hotel is helpful, helped with booking tickets, explained about islands, took us to show bioluminescent plankton. Could be nice if hotel provide one free coffee for breakfast (now need to pay) and some international food (was traditional chinese breakfast)"

"Choosing a newly opened guesthouse with no reviews yet is like opening a blind box. Luckily, this time I found a hidden gem! The rooms were brand new and fully equipped, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. Whether gazing out from the balcony or lounging in bed, the expansive sea view was breathtaking. We could enjoy the sunrise early in the morning and a sky full of stars at night – the view was truly impeccable. The owner is beautiful and kind, and she and the owner are very good at conversation. The guesthouse staff were also incredibly attentive and helpful. This short trip coincided with our wedding anniversary, and the owner thoughtfully arranged a small surprise for us. The attention to detail was incredibly heartwarming, and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations. We are extremely grateful. The breakfast was exquisite and delicious. The freshly cooked seafood noodles were incredibly flavorful and delicious, leaving a lingering aftertaste. There's also a friendly Devonian cat that stayed close by during breakfast, lively and endearing. The entire experience was fantastic. Highly recommended! The sea-view rooms offer a truly immersive experience. Breakfast was easily the best we've had across all the island guesthouses, prepared with a professional touch. Cleanliness: The place was spotlessly clean, and housekeeping was remarkably prompt. Environment: Located very close to the main street. The communal area on the first floor has a lovely charming vibe, perfect for reading, enjoying a cup of tea, and gazing at the sea. Service: The host was incredibly patient and thoughtful. They proactively sent us schedules for boat trips and local cultural activities on the island and were always incredibly accommodating with our requests. They even took us to see the bioluminescent sea at night! I highly recommend this guesthouse; it offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely be returning."

"I originally wanted to book a hotel on the beach, but my family booked this one. Fortunately. Among the B&Bs near Jihu Beach, this one has the best design and the best environment. It is very close to the beach, but inside the road, not along the street. On one side is a quiet farmland, and on the other side is a hillside. A clean large yard, a swing under a big tree, and a picture of Hayao Miyazaki. There is a glass study in the garden, where you can play cards, read books, and drink tea. Going up the hillside in the backyard, you can enter a viewing platform, facing the beach gate, overlooking the sea. A quiet courtyard in the bustling city. The boss is a gentle young mother."
