"I had a great stay at this hotel, especially as a manga fan. The room was clean, and I received fresh towels every day. Amenities such as toiletries could be picked up from the reception area, which was very convenient. The hotel also provides complimentary drinks 24/7, including water, coffee, and tea. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel with buses that go straight to Kyoto Station, and the nearest subway station is about a 10-minute walk away. The famous Nishiki Market is around a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There is also a convenience store right next to the hotel and a supermarket within a short walking distance, making it very easy to grab snacks, drinks, or anything else you might need. Popular attractions such as Nijō Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace are also within walking distance. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto."

"The hotel was very accessible. We can walk to the bus stops and can easily get Uber rides as well. No issue traveling with kids. They offered chopsticks making as arts and crafts while the adults had unli snacks in the afternoon. Lobby was cozy even the kids were comfortable. Room was confortable for 2 adults and 3 kids."

"The room felt a little small, but the bed was perfectly sized, and the room was very clean. For this price for two people, I think it's the best value hotel in the Kawaramachi-Gojo area. When I went to bed, I was thirsty, but there were no vending machines between the front desk and the elevator, so I endured it. However, when I checked out, I noticed there was a self-service kitchen with a cold water dispenser on the basement floor. For someone like me who isn't very tech-savvy, it would have been even better if there was information about this in the room."

"This hotel is a 5-minute walk from Shijo Kawaramachi Station. Kyoto isn't very big, and in this weather, you can walk to Kiyomizu-dera, the Gion area, stroll along the river, and even reach the **** area all on foot. On the first day, I took public transport everywhere, only to realize later how close everything actually was. The room is small but clean. It's right on a main road, so there's some motorcycle noise, but it didn't bother my sleep much. For consecutive stays, you can put a sticker on your door if you don't want housekeeping; just leave your trash and old towels outside, and fresh ones will be hung on your door. Breakfast includes four types of bread, onsen tamago (hot spring egg), coffee, yogurt, milk, and mashed potatoes for 40 yuan, which I found very satisfying. Consumables are available for self-service by the elevator. On check-in and check-out days, you can use your Suica card to lock your luggage, which is right in front of the front desk. There are many restaurants in the alley between the hotel and the Kamo River worth trying."

"The staff were very welcoming every time I entered the hotel or came down to the lobby, which made the stay feel warm and comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located between two train stations, making it easy to travel around the area. There is also a convenience store right opposite the hotel, and a McDonald’s just around the corner, which adds to the overall convenience. Breakfast is served at the café downstairs, which appears to be a popular local spot as it is always filled with diners. Although the selection is not very wide, the food is quite delicious and satisfying. The room itself is clean and well-maintained, although on the smaller side. Overall, a simple but very convenient and pleasant stay with friendly service and a great location."

"Fantastic location, just right by Nike store & opposite GU/Uniqlo along Main Street. Turn right and whole bunch of restaurants and cross the river to see beautiful Gion. The room is small but roomy enough to fit a few cabin-sized luggages flat on the ground. Careful of the window, it’s gigantic but opens only about 5cm out."

"This hotel offers great value for money. The location is decent, about a 10-15 minute walk from the metro station, which could be a hassle if you're lugging luggage or if it's raining – you'd definitely get soaked. On the upside, the lobby provides complimentary drinks and tables, which is a big bonus. The staff generally has a good service attitude. We had a minor hiccup on our last day after checkout due to a communication mix-up, but thankfully, the issue was resolved. The staff members who spoke Chinese were excellent; I won't comment on the others, haha."

"The Karasuma subway line is super close, making it incredibly convenient to get to Kyoto Station. There's a proper supermarket nearby, not just a convenience store, and a KAMO shop. It's also not far to walk to the lively Kawaramachi Sanjo area. The room has a window that opens, and there's free water available. The location is quiet yet central, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. Kyoto Imperial Palace is right around the corner. Highly recommend!"

Being so close to one of Kyoto’s main hubs means you have immediate access to trains, buses, and a wide range of shops and restaurants. Right at the entrance of the property, there is a 7-Eleven, which adds a great level of convenience. Whether you need a quick snack, drinks, or travel essentials, everything is easily accessible at any time of day. Additionally, Kyoto Station itself features a large shopping complex with countless dining options, retail stores, and services, so you are truly in the center of everything. The room size is on the smaller side, but this is typical for Kyoto and was expected. Despite the limited space, the room is functional and suitable for a short stay. The hotel operates with a modern, efficient system, offering automated check-in and check-out machines, which makes the process quick and hassle-free. Amenities are not placed inside the room; instead, guests can pick up what they need from the front desk. This approach is understandable and aligns well with environmentally friendly practices. Breakfast is a highlight of the stay. The quality of the food is very good, and the staff in the breakfast area are particularly warm, attentive, and welcoming, which adds a pleasant start to the day. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. The area above the bedboard was noticeably dusty, which detracts slightly from the overall cleanliness. In addition, the curtains do not fully block out the sunlight, resulting in the room becoming quite bright early in the morning. I would recommend that the hotel consider providing eye masks for guests, or alternatively, travelers should bring their own. It is also worth noting that eye masks are not available at the nearby 7-Eleven, and during my two-night stay, the strong morning sunlight consistently woke me up earlier than expected."
