"The renovation year on Trip.com must be incorrect; it definitely doesn't look like it was renovated in 2025. It seems more like 5 years old. The location is excellent, about a 5-minute walk from the subway station, with plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and even a drugstore nearby. On the night I stayed, the guests next door were talking very loudly in the early morning. I called the front desk, and they immediately came up to handle it. Great service!"

"I had a pleasant stay at Tokyu Stay Shimbashi. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the train station and convenient connections to other parts of Tokyo. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely maintained. Having a washing machine and microwave in the room was also a great plus, especially for a longer stay. I also appreciated that the staff were friendly and able to communicate well in English, which made things easy for international guests. Overall, the hotel was a comfortable and convenient choice for my stay in Tokyo. I would consider staying here again on my next visit."

"Staying at APA Hotel & Resort Kabukicho Tower was such a great experience, especially for a first-timer in Tokyo. I genuinely loved how convenient everything was—the airport limousine bus stops just beside the hotel, and it’s very close to Shinjuku Station, making it super easy to get around the city. The rooms are on the smaller side (as expected in Tokyo), but they’re thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and had everything I needed—honestly perfect after a long day out exploring. The staff are also incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even more pleasant and hassle-free. One of my favorite parts was the onsen on the top floor. After walking around the city all day, soaking there was incredibly relaxing and the perfect way to recharge for another day of adventures. Definitely a place I’d recommend for both convenience and comfort!"

"The hotel was very clean, and I tried a Korean body scrub for the first time. My sensitive skin felt a little tingly afterwards, but it was a very pleasant experience. The public bath was also quite empty despite there being other people, so I was able to relax and take my time."

"This Tokyu REI hotel is great! It's right by Shibuya's B2 exit. The hotel breakfast was decent, and there was a front desk staff member who could speak Chinese. The room wasn't small; you could comfortably walk between the two single beds, and there was also good space between the single bed and the sofa. It's only about a five or six-minute walk to the airport bus stop if you know your way around, just past Shibuya Station. I stayed for three nights, and it seemed like there were a lot of Western tourists."

"Used for expedition. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The bed is about a semi-double size, so it's enough to get rid of fatigue. Luggage storage until departure was smooth. However, the room where my friend stayed was said to have hair falling around the water, and there may be a difference in cleaning."

"I had a layover in Tokyo on a Saturday, and to my surprise, hotel prices were ridiculously high. So, I frantically scoured platforms, looking for a clean place with a good location. This hotel barely had any reviews, and hardly anyone on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media app) had written about it, but I decided to take a chance. It was only 600 JPY for one night, located in the Hatchobori area, just one stop from Tokyo Station. [Location] The hotel is a 3-minute walk from Hatchobori Station, making it super convenient to get around. It's two stops to Tsukiji Market, Ginza is within walking distance, and Tokyo Tower is also very close. Shinjuku and Shibuya are in different directions, about a 30-minute subway ride. Disneyland is also quite close, roughly a 20-minute subway ride. [Facilities] This is an ICI Hotel, a Japanese chain, opened in 2020. The lobby was packed with luggage; you can store your bags, but keep in mind that check-out is at 10 AM. [Room] The room is genuinely small, only 9 square meters... it's hard to open a large suitcase. However, the room is very clean!! At this price, it's perfect for budget travelers. No need to stay in a hostel when you can have a private room at this price; I can't ask for more. [Service] The front desk staff was quite friendly, which is to be expected from a chain hotel. In summary, the hotel is clean and well-located. The downside is the small room, but it's ideal for those who spend their days out exploring Tokyo and don't plan on spending much time in the hotel."

"Hotel is just behind Ginza 6, location is good for shopping and a short walk to Ginza station. Room is small but clean and basic for 1 person. Functional. I booked it for the day without staying overnight as I have a late flight and would need the room to rest and shower before my overnight flight. Would recommend for single traveller staying in Tokyo for a few nights."
