"My preference of a hotel is a homely. Wouldn’t it wonderful if the hotel staff would treat their guests as a family? They missed on this aspect but kudos to all the staff who had tried their best to make us feel comfortable all throughout the stay. We all love the pool especially the heated one. I just think they’re too strict on wearing a swimming cap even if you’re just having a dip or hanging out in the heated pool. I’d totally understand it if it’s swimming but yeah it’s house rules I guess I just think it’s too much. Breakfast was great!"

"The hotel staffs are very helpful and professional. The most pity thing is a breakfast. When I visited the restaurant, there were so many people there. So, retuned to the room, and revisited the restaurant after 9:00. What I was so surprised is that many restaurant staffs are trying to prepare to close the restaurant after 9:30 even though there are still many guests in the restaurant. Many of the foods are already run out or cleaned out of the restaurant. It was really uncomfortable even though they mentioned that the restaurant is available until 10:00. I had to eat breakfast so in a hurry to help them clean up the restaurant. I hope they start the process of closing the restaurant after all the guests have left the restaurant."

The breakfast offers a good variety, with both Chinese and Western options, as well as some local specialty snacks. I particularly appreciate that the front desk offered complimentary cookies and warm bottled water when I checked out, and even asked if I needed a ride to the high-speed rail station."

Xiao Zhao at the front desk was patient, friendly, and approachable. The location is convenient, surrounded by lush greenery and a tranquil environment, making it super easy to go out for spring walks. There were no detours to restaurants or attractions. The hotel was quiet and peaceful overall, creating a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation. We felt warm and comfortable, and the whole family was very satisfied.

GGuest UserIt's really great. We are traveling with a baby of one month old, so we thought there would be a lot of inconvenience during the trip, but the hotel's service is really perfect. All the service staff provided as much help as possible after seeing us. Thank you very much! The hotel's breakfast is great. Many hotels now have pre-made dishes. Many of the dishes in this hotel are fresh and have some local specialties. The hotel is very new, has complete facilities, and is very clean, which makes us feel more at ease with our children. Thank you to Miss Amanda at the front desk for giving us a towel (later I found that it was lint-free). This doesn't affect my desire to stay here next time, because you guys are really nice! EEloisa39I specifically booked the Sofitel Xiong'an this time, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Since I was traveling with a child, I booked the 'Octonauts' themed room. The room was decorated with a playful, warm, and cute design, and my little one had an absolute blast. The room was clean and tidy, and most importantly, safety was a top priority with no sharp corners, so I didn't have to worry about bumps or scrapes. The bathroom was equipped with a step stool for the sink and a child's toilet seat – truly the ultimate for traveling with kids! The hotel's public areas were also clean and tidy, especially the swimming pool area on the 4th floor, which featured a constant-temperature children's pool with excellent water quality and no pungent chemical filter smell. We felt very safe and played for a long time. The restaurant was also very convenient, with a wide variety of breakfast options that tasted great. Furthermore, the hotel staff were attentive and thoughtful, proactively asking about our needs and being patient and meticulous. The service was very satisfying. One minor point: you might want to bring light clothing indoors as the room temperature was a bit high, and the windows seemed to be sealed. It would have been perfect if there was ventilation.

AAliceluluqiOur May Day trip with the little one was made so much better by Cheney from guest relations, who proactively added us on WeChat and provided excellent, thoughtful service. The hotel's facilities and environment are truly superb. We arrived at noon and didn't even leave the property. After my child woke up, we strolled around the grounds in the afternoon, then played for a bit at the Swan Castle Kids' Club. Dinner was at the buffet restaurant. Since this was our second time bringing the kids to Xiong'an, we knew that dining options can be limited and often involve long waits, so eating directly at the hotel was incredibly convenient this time. There are a couple of areas that could be improved, though: Firstly, the park doesn't separate pedestrians and vehicles, which is something to watch out for if you have young children, as cars generally drive quite fast. Secondly, the breakfast restaurant was set up in a large ballroom, which wasn't a great experience. I'm not sure if this was a temporary arrangement due to the high volume of guests during May Day, but it felt a bit out of place, almost like a company conference.
