When in Manila, I mostly took taxis and didn't really try public transport. My only concern was that the area felt a bit sketchy at night. There's a Starbucks right downstairs, and if you walk two blocks to the left and then turn right, you'll find a large shopping mall. The room was average but had good air conditioning and hot water. As for the soundproofing and AC noise that others mentioned, I personally didn't find them to be a big issue. For the price of just over 200, it's really good value for money.

I recently stayed at City Garden Suites and would like to share both a commendation and some constructive feedback regarding my experience. First, I would like to highly commend Ms. Zsan for her outstanding service. After being assigned to a room that, while clean, had an unpleasant odor, I approached the front desk again for assistance. Ms. Zsan handled the situation with genuine care and professionalism. She went beyond simply checking the system—she actively coordinated with housekeeping via radio to personally verify room availability. Her initiative, attentiveness, and willingness to help truly define excellent customer service. She made us feel heard and valued, and her dedication reflects the kind of frontline service that leaves a lasting positive impression. On the other hand, I would like to offer constructive feedback regarding my experience with Ms. Acel. As a guest, first impressions matter, and my initial interaction with her during check-in was not very reassuring. When I inquired about the possibility of being assigned to a newly renovated room, I was informed that none were available, without much effort to further check or explore options. This gave me the impression that my request was not fully considered. The following day, when I needed to extend my stay, I spoke with her over the phone and requested an update regarding my concern, emphasizing the urgency as I needed to secure the current room rate online. However, after waiting for around 30 minutes without any callback, I had to follow up myself. During the follow-up, she asked for details I had already communicated earlier, which made it seem like the information was not properly noted or attended to. On the third day, I needed to extend my booking again. To avoid the same experience, I went directly to the front desk. Unfortunately, she was again the one available. Despite my previous experience, I still chose to give her another chance, hoping for a better interaction. However, the experience remained the same. Because of this, instead of extending my stay further, I decided to transfer to another hotel. I hope this feedback is received constructively. Frontline staff play a crucial role in shaping the overall guest experience. While Ms. Zsan demonstrated exceptional service and professionalism, there is an opportunity for improvement in consistency, attentiveness, and proactive assistance. With the right focus on these areas, guest satisfaction can be greatly enhanced.

1. Location is good people who needs to go to China town. Otherwise not a good location.. 2 Spacy and clean room 3. Horrible amenities. - No Tea or coffee, no slipers, no tissues, No face towels, 4. No Hot water. Just small hot water unit which never give hot water. 5. Also shower water pressue very slow. But Bidet shower water pressure too much. It is a problem. 5. Expetp dental kit nothing is there. 6. No Bar fridge. Booked Premium excutive room. But Nothing facilities. Staff is good, friendly and supportive. Thats it.

I accidentally booked the wrong dates twice, but the staff at Hop Inn Hotel were very kind and understanding. They processed my cancellation and refund for free without any hassle. Excellent customer service, smooth communication, and very accommodating staff. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again!”

Good room and toilet size. It's clean and things works. But room has smoking smell, probably seeped in from the corridor. No amenities to talk about. Cafe is simple and breakfast for cost conscious

I stayed with a friend. Although the area made me a little worried about safety, we had no problems during our stay. For the free breakfast, we could choose from a menu at the front desk for the next morning and specify the delivery time. When we forgot, they called our room to take our breakfast order. I'm very satisfied with the affordable junior suite.

Booked this hotel for one night. Overall, it was okay, but nothing special. The room actually looked different from the photos on Trip. There was no soap in the room, or the dispenser wasn't working. The AC was noisy, but it was very stuffy without it. There's a window. The bed was a bit hard, and there was no duvet, just some kind of blanket without a cover. On the plus side, good water pressure, running water, and two towels. The staff were generally friendly; they stored our luggage after check-out and covered it with a net. Breakfast was decent and included in the price. Overall, this hotel is fine for a one or two-night stay—it's pretty average, nothing outstanding. For the price, it's acceptable.

I’ve stayed at Anex several times, and it has consistently been a very convenient and comfortable choice. The location is great, the rooms are clean, and everything I need for a short stay is easily accessible. What I appreciate most is the convenience and hassle-free experience, especially when I’m in Manila for appointments or catching a flight. The staff are also accommodating and the overall stay is pleasant. Definitely a place I would consider staying at again. Highly recommended!

The place was nice. There are plates, cooking tools, the ref is also working and plus the amenities. There’s a gym and a free sauna for you to enjoy. The pool is quite nice . Overall, i recommend the place.

So, i came to manila alone. Hoping to have a good time. Spent 28 days in this hotel and explored the surronunding areas. By the end of the trip i met my babae and we where having a good time. Long story short... the hotel was well worth the money, as the view was great and my girl got pregnant. So, its a lucky room i guess too. You pay for all the amenaties. That was one down point but other than that it was fine and i had good nights/late night fun.. come and try it for yourself.
