"Booked for the location, literally just a few meters away from minivan station, but I was positively impressed by the cleaneses and services standard. Have 200bath deposit ready for each key card you are requesting and check-in will be a breeze."

"Our family recently stayed at the Friendlytel Hotel during a trip to Hat Yai. While the hotel boasts an exceptional location that makes exploring the city incredibly convenient, there are several areas regarding room comfort and maintenance that management should address, particularly for those traveling with elderly family members. The Positives: Location and Accessibility • Prime Spotting: The hotel's location is its biggest selling point. It is well within walking distance to both the popular Lee Garden Night Market and Kim Yong Market. • Abundant Dining: The surrounding area is vibrant and packed with a fantastic variety of shops selling local foods, snacks, and drinks. You will never go hungry staying here. Areas for Improvement: • Water Quality: We noticed a distinct, metallic taste in the water while showering, which was somewhat unpleasant and suggests the piping or filtration system may need maintenance. • Room Lighting: The lighting in the rooms is quite dim and insufficient. If you are traveling with senior citizens, you will need to take extra care to ensure they can navigate the space safely. • Bedging Comfort: The mattresses were noticeably uncomfortable and firm, which impacted our quality of sleep after a long day of walking. Verdict: Friendlytel Hotel is a solid choice if your primary goal is convenience, walkability, and easy access to Hat Yai’s food scene. However, if you require high room comfort or are traveling with seniors who need well-lit spaces, you may want to weigh these factors before booking."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was very clean, comfortable, and new. We also really appreciated the free drinking water provided — there was plenty for us to drink. All my family and friends agreed that we would definitely book this place again. The price is affordable, the environment is comfortable, and the overall service was very good. There is just one thing I hope can be improved: although you use electronic locks, it would be great if the main entrance door could have an additional locking function, or if the electronic lock could be set to remain locked from the inside. My child has learned how to open doors, and because the electronic lock does not have a proper child-lock function, she was able to open the door and walk out by herself. The staircase outside is open and quite dangerous, so I had to be very careful throughout our stay. The same applies to the bedroom door — my child could easily pull it open, so I had to constantly watch her to make sure she didn’t open the door and go outside. I hope you can consider improving the locking function, especially for families travelling with young children. Other than that, it was a really great stay! We will definitely come back next time. A very nice place with great service! 😊"

"I was impressed from the moment I stepped into Hoshi Hotel Hatyai, a Japanese-style boutique hotel that felt like staying in a ryokan in the heart of Hat Yai. The atmosphere was peaceful, warm, and every detail was meticulously taken care of. The room was beautifully decorated with a Japanese flair, featuring tatami mats, a comfortable futon, and a Japanese soaking tub that helped me relax after a day of sightseeing. The simple yet charming design was easy on the eyes and allowed for a complete rest. Another thing that impressed me was the staff's service. Everyone greeted me with a smile and took good care of me, making my stay feel warm, like a special guest. The location is also convenient, right in the heart of Hat Yai, easy to travel around, and close to many attractions and restaurants. It's suitable for both leisure and short trips. If you're looking for a unique hotel that feels like you've gone to Japan without having to fly, Hoshi Hotel Hatyai is an option I highly recommend, and it's definitely a place I'd love to visit again. 🇯🇵🤍"

"On the first morning, we left our luggage at the front desk since they offer free storage, and then went out to explore. The room was very clean; although it's not a luxury hotel, every single corner was kept spotless. The location is super convenient, close to massage shops, McDonald's, Odean, and the bus station."
