"I booked this hotel because the reviews said it was the best, and the photos looked good. As soon as we arrived and the car stopped, the front desk and security staff immediately came to help with our luggage. The check-in process was very smooth. The room facilities were exactly as shown in the online photos, everything you need was there, and the overall space was quite large and comfortable. There's a supermarket and many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, which is very convenient. There's also a large grassland nearby where you can see many cattle and horses. The hotel breakfast had a good variety of vegetables, which was great for someone like me who loves to eat greens. Finally, I have to mention that the front desk and security staff provided excellent service. Every time we entered or left the hotel, the security guard would help pull back the curtain, and the front desk staff would politely greet us. When we checked out, both the front desk and security staff helped carry our luggage to the car. Top-notch service, definitely five stars!"

"The largest hotel in Arxan, though perhaps a bit old, is very well maintained. The hotel is vast, with woods and a stream behind it, offering fresh air. The lobby and rooms are luxuriously decorated. The linens, bedding, shower water, and cleanliness are all commendable. Upon check-in, we were given complimentary fruit, yogurt, and Yili bottled water. Due to continuous rain, the room temperature was a bit low, but after receiving a heater, the temperature immediately became comfortable. The hotel restaurant is luxuriously decorated, and the breakfast selection is extensive, including lamb offal, noodles, wontons, fruit, and the hot dishes are also quite good; the millet porridge is excellent. For lunch, we had hot pot, and the lamb was authentic in both appearance and flavor. The restaurant manager, Sister Fang, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Arxan's scenery is breathtaking, and the two days at the hotel felt like home."

"I am a young Englishman on a 20 day solo self-drive road trip across northern Heilongjian and Inner Mongolia. After my stay in Hulun Buir, I decided to drive down to Arxan for 2 nights exploring. I booked this stay based off of the other foreign guests' positive experience. I arrived in the town late in the evening. The boss was waiting for me and was attentive and welcoming from the start. The room is very spacious and comfortable, and the temperature was just right. Everything is provided and replaced when needed. After hiking in the national park, I came back to the boss and his extended family making CNY preparations. Then I was invited to drink Chinese tea (Dian Hong) at their tea table. I was then welcomed to eat with the family, drink beer and eat until I was full. I was welcomed not just as a guest of theirs, but as a family friend. In mid-winter, Aershan/Arxan is a quiet and cold place. I came as part of a long journey taking my rented 4x4 Tank 300 through the snow and ice on routes apart of the Hulun Buir Snow and Ice Festival. My journey was peaceful, solemn and isolated. The hospitality and warm welcome was exactly what I needed after my long drive alone and it is a memory I will take home to the UK with me. I highly recommend this guesthouse, especially if you are travelling solo across this wilderness. Thank you brother. I look forward to returning in the near future with my partner, and when my mandarin is better."

"Coming to Arxan and choosing Chengyue Hotel was a great decision, no regrets at all! The hotel is easy to find, parking is convenient, and the rooms are clean and warm. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation and a smart mirror. There's a good variety of breakfast options, and a self-service laundry room which is very handy for washing clothes. The front desk staff patiently helped us plan our sightseeing route for the forest park; their service was thoughtful and attentive. The environment is quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it for your travels!"

"From the environment, the hotel does have a unique location, it is easy to take pictures, the surrounding environment is so beautiful, it is close to the town, quiet and convenient. Low season price is not high is a good choice, if the peak season price doubled, I probably will not consider. From the facilities, the first feeling of entering the room is that the room is relatively small, the bed is mini, not suitable for the bed, sleep is not very comfortable, the washing area light is broken (the second night is repaired), the wooden floor has floor heating, very comfortable, heating is also very sufficient. In fact, he solved everything in four words ”sorry”, but he was kind. The guest has a sentence of his n, what is the service, there is no sense of service at all, and it is speechless. The hotel management system needs to be further improved. As an outsider, I also feel that living here is not respected. 😟 It is not enough for the management to do a good job. It is estimated that the entire hotel should be managed with heart. There should be iron manager and manager Zhang. Finally, thank you for the new year gift from the iron manager."

"I have stayed in a very good hotel twice. When I checked in in mid-September, the hotel was not cold and there were electric mattresses. Hygiene: It is clean, tidy and comfortable. Next to the hotel is a small house in the clock tower. I don't know what it is for, but it is quite good. Good looking. Facilities: Complete facilities, washing machine, and rich breakfast. Service: The front desk said that rooms with small windows can be upgraded to larger windows. Anyway, I just slept one night and there was no trouble in upgrading.
