This was my first time visiting Moganshan, and I booked the Shangpo B&B based on Ctrip's ratings and reviews. I was really impressed by the welcome letter, which showed the owner is cultured and thoughtful, and it immediately heightened my expectations for this 'paradise on earth'... The B&B is nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, with a three-story, reddish-orange Tuscan-style exterior that exudes a vintage charm. It feels incredibly exotic being surrounded by the bamboo sea and mountains. The environment here is serene and peaceful, truly a 'paradise away from the hustle and bustle' as described in the welcome letter. The room was clean and elegant, offering mountain views right from the moment you open the door. Every detail exuded a subtle luxury. My favorite part was the artwork in the common areas – several Picasso-esque paintings by Dutch artists, paired with light luxury, simple European furniture, creating a striking visual contrast between modern and vintage that sparks a unique aesthetic romance. Both the Chinese and Western meals here were incredibly delicious, fresh, and exquisitely prepared. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner could all be customized to guests' requests; it truly felt like everyone was a VIP. The service at the B&B was also outstanding. Coffee and mineral water were provided free of charge and unlimited throughout the day! The housekeeper was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request. This is, without a doubt, the best-serviced B&B I've ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!

The whole homestay is modern, warm and full of design. Choose this place for your photos! The room is comfortable and details are reflected everywhere. It is clean, well-equipped, spacious, and has a lot of entertainment facilities. There is also a small bar where you can drink. My mother especially likes the bed. The quilt should be a down quilt, with different high and low memory pillows, which is more in line with sleep requirements than a five-star hotel. The boss and his wife are very nice, enthusiastic and considerate. It was a great chat. A wonderful accommodation experience, rare! My mother and the boss said they would bring friends back next time.

Cleanliness: The room was immaculately clean. The housekeeper even ordered incense before our check-in, which was very thoughtful. Environment: The setting is elegant and tranquil, with a swimming pool and observation deck on the back hill offering stunning views. The pool water is very clean. The rooms feature wood accents and warm lighting, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Each room is unique and different, and I'd love to try something different next time! There's even a projector in the room. The room window offers a view of the bamboo forest, which is so relaxing! Private butler service: The butler service is incredibly attentive, and they also offer laundry service, which is highly recommended! Parking is also very convenient.

Our two-day 'retreat' with my mom and grandma has come to a perfect end! A big thank you to our butler, Xiao Liu, for the thoughtful arrangements. He upgraded our rooms and every meal was delicious. The elders in my family are always so happy when they're in a natural, mountain setting. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed – we didn't have to prepare a thing. Plus, there were charging stations for our electric car, so all we had to do was relax. We'll definitely be back!

Highly recommend!!! My mother and I had an amazing time at this hotel. If you’re looking for a place to retreat, relax, read, swim, and eat delicious food, you can’t find a better place! I can also recommend it for work retreats, as they have a beautiful large room in the garden that you can use for meetings or workshops. The hotel is beautiful, inside and outside (rooms, lobby, garden, garden room, etc), with wonderful cozy spaces that are decorated with great attention to details. Everything is super clean and of great quality, including the strong showers and soft beds. The swimming pool is stunningly beautiful, with various places to sit around it. The food is delicious, both breakfast and dinner! We are both foodies and were amazed by the freshness, tastes, and varieties of the food. The staff is the most friendly and accommodating thinkable. They truly made our stay to an unforgettable experience. I’ve traveled a lot in China over the last 10 years, and this hotel is the absolute favorite I’ve stayed at.

The service was excellent all around. The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. The bellhops were incredibly kind and didn't hesitate to assist with our luggage, which was fantastic. They even brought us umbrellas to the parking lot promptly when it rained. Our dog had a wonderful time at the hotel, and the housekeeping staff were very accommodating; when we asked for extra bottles of water in the summer, they were delivered to our room immediately.

I saw that Man Shi Guang B&B ranked 13th in Moganshan, and the facilities are incredibly comprehensive. They have a billiard room, game consoles, KTV, a swimming pool, a basketball court, and a kids' play area. What really stood out was the stunning scenery behind the guesthouse – it’s absolutely perfect for photos! We stayed for three days and barely left, as there was so much fun to be had right at the B&B. We were two families staying together, and the kids all played together, so we barely had to supervise them. At meal times, you can even order food at the guesthouse, making for a truly relaxing trip. In the scorching summer heat, there's no need to rush to different attractions; just enjoying the guesthouse itself was incredibly comfortable. Overall, the B&B is excellent and I highly recommend staying here.

I really loved this guesthouse, especially its common areas. The library, in particular, stood out with its striking spatial design and vibrant color scheme, creating a wonderfully spacious and bright atmosphere. It's the perfect place to grab a book, order a coffee, and easily spend an entire afternoon. The host was also incredibly hospitable! I definitely hope to visit again next time!

The hotel's location is unbeatable, and the staff are incredibly attentive. We were pleasantly surprised with a hiking goodie bag containing two bottles of Evian water, two packs of crackers, and a map. Our room was also upgraded. Before arrival, the hotel provided very detailed itinerary guidance, making our mountain ascent very smooth. The outdoor pool is spotless and offers a great experience, complete with changing rooms, lockers, and showers. While the hotel facilities show a bit of age, they are very well-maintained, and the cleanliness is excellent. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with superb value for money. Moshangyin hotel is a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway in Moganshan. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, perfect for resting, slowing down, and enjoying nature away from busy city life. The interior design is beautifully done, creating a warm and comfortable environment from the moment you arrive. The room was excellent, very cozy and well-maintained, with a beautiful mountain view that makes the whole experience even more special. One of the highlights is the tea room, which is thoughtfully designed for tea preparation and relaxation. The decoration combines traditional and modern elements in a very tasteful way, with beautiful details, instruments, and carefully selected design pieces. The entire space feels artistic and calming. The property is surrounded by abundant greenery and plants everywhere, especially outdoors, which makes the environment feel fresh and natural. Sitting there and looking out toward the bamboo forests is incredibly peaceful and contemplative. Whether the weather is sunny or cloudy, the atmosphere remains equally pleasant and charming. Another lovely detail is the nearby stream—you can hear the gentle sound of flowing water, which adds even more tranquility to the stay. The staff are very kind, welcoming, and attentive, making guests feel comfortable, almost as if they are in their own natural home environment. The guests staying there are also respectful and pleasant, contributing to the calm atmosphere. Transportation is also very convenient, with taxis arriving quickly and reliably. There is a nearby village called Yucun that is lovely to visit, and many scenic areas around the hotel are easily accessible as well. Overall, this is an ideal place for anyone looking for peace, beautiful design, nature, and a truly relaxing experience in Moganshan.
