"Upon early check-in, I found that my reserved mountain view room was located by the road. After speaking with the front desk, the hotel immediately offered a complimentary upgrade to a river view room, which was much quieter and offered a more scenic view. Both the in-room and external facilities were excellent, comfortable, and spotless. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful. All the benefits promised on my booking were fully delivered. The hotel is currently undergoing a second phase of expansion, and I look forward to even more facilities and room options in the near future."

"Fantastic budget stay! This hotel is highly affordable yet absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. They have an on-site restaurant where you can easily request halal food. Have a hot spring pool too. Best of all, the Bipenggou Valley scenic area is just a 10-minute walk away. Perfect location!"

"The Lixian Yunman Hongshan Hot Spring Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The environment is tranquil and serene, and opening the window reveals an endless mountain view, offering expansive and healing vistas ✨. The room was clean and spacious with complete amenities, and the smart home system was incredibly convenient. The bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. The private hot spring water was clear and pure, and soaking in it left me feeling completely relaxed, perfect for unwinding after a long journey. The staff were warm and attentive. The freshly made beef noodles for breakfast were delicious and flavorful, and the yak hotpot for dinner was authentic and superb. The value for money is absolutely fantastic – this is a must-stay when visiting Lixian!"

"Fantastic hotel! We stayed on the third floor and had access to a large public terrace, perfect for sitting and enjoying the surrounding mountain views. We didn't have a car, but the hotel sent a vehicle to pick us up from the parking lot. The next day, the driver even kindly dropped us off at another hotel outside the scenic area. The biggest advantage of staying inside the scenic area is that you can leisurely spend two days exploring and enjoy the tranquil evening scenery all to yourself. The hotel restaurant had good food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to take their time exploring Bipenggou."

"The room was quite spacious with large windows, so it felt bright and airy, not stuffy at all. This is probably the nicest hotel in Lixian. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and there's a complimentary afternoon tea upon check-in. The room features smart controls via 'Xiao Du' (a smart assistant). With the zero-pressure mattress and the quiet town environment—no insects chirping or cars honking—it was incredibly peaceful, ensuring a very restful sleep. In June, the temperature was a comfortable 16-18 degrees Celsius, so no need for air conditioning. The cleanliness was excellent, and the breakfast spread was very generous. The hotel is located in the heart of the town, with a large ground-level parking lot. Supermarkets, convenience stores, and various dining options are all around the corner. It's a perfect stopover for a road trip."

"I arrived at Bipenggou the night before my birthday. Since it was the off-season, the prices were good, so I chose one of the best hotels in the area, the Feili Hotel. To my surprise, it completely exceeded my expectations! It was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, and most importantly, I could charge my devices. Even the local BBQ shop owners know about this place. I was on the 4th floor, and opening the window revealed a stunning mountain view – just lying in bed and daydreaming was incredibly relaxing. The hotel manager is beautiful and kind. The front desk lady was also lovely; she even gave me a small gift after finding out it was my birthday. After chatting with her for a bit, I got the feeling she might be an ISTP. ST types really are cool on the outside but warm on the inside – so adorable! The hot springs were great too. Having them all to myself in the off-season was fantastic, and the water temperature was just right. I accidentally swallowed a mouthful, and it really was sweet! She wasn't kidding when she said it was mountain spring water. All in all, this birthday felt a bit warmer thanks to Feili. I hope to see them again next time I visit Bipenggou."

"For our two-day trip to Lixian, we chose to stay at Xiangjiagazong Luxury Scenic Resort, drawn by its stunning scenery and numerous positive reviews. To start with, my conclusion is: while the hardware (facilities) is indeed excellent, the soft services don't quite match the price. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain; you need to take a detour from the main road to reach it, so driving is more convenient. It provides two small parking areas and EV charging stations. Both the views and room facilities are exactly as advertised: clean, tidy, high-quality, and clearly designed with great thought and expense. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of the lush mountains, and the morning mist creates a truly breathtaking scene. Breakfast was generous, served à la carte (not buffet-style) directly by staff, which was a pleasant experience. However, the service left much to be desired. On arrival day, I contacted the front desk for luggage assistance, but after a long wait, no one showed up, so I had to carry my bags uphill myself. During check-in, there was no dedicated staff member; an auntie who also handles cleaning duties processed our check-in. The so-called ”butler” service wasn't via WeChat but a regular phone call, and their explanation of nearby walkable attractions was unclear, which was a bit awkward. On the first night, I felt a bit unwell and contacted the butler for cold medicine or altitude sickness medication. Unfortunately, these were not readily available, and we had to purchase an oxygen tank at our own expense. The ”Xiaodu” voice assistant in the room seemed smart but didn't genuinely integrate with the room facilities. The scenic cafe on the 4th floor had beautiful views, but on both occasions we went up, there were no staff, just an empty room. We didn't encounter the ”warm and hospitable owner” mentioned in many reviews; the owner never appeared throughout our stay, and there was a noticeable lack of a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the hotel's hardware and scenery are indeed impeccable, making it a great place for photos and relaxation. However, the service experience and attention to detail fell short. The price, several times higher than neighboring hotels, didn't reflect a corresponding value in service. If you're coming purely for the scenery, it's worth a try, but if you're seeking a high-quality, comprehensive experience, you might be slightly disappointed."

"We chose the family room for our trip to Bipenggou with our child, and the overall stay was very comfortable. The layout with one large and one small bed was practical, and the children's bed had cute, playful bedding that my little one absolutely loved. The room also had a private balcony with direct views of the continuous mountains; it was incredibly relaxing to just sit out there, feel the breeze, and admire the scenery. The entire room was elegantly decorated and spotless, with wooden lattice partitions creating distinct areas. The cleanliness was meticulously maintained. The hotel lobby had a wonderful ambiance, featuring oil paintings of the snowy mountains of Western Sichuan. The public courtyard was lush with greenery and even had hot spring pools. Parking was convenient for those driving, and it wasn't far from the scenic area. The service was attentive, making it perfect for a mountain getaway with kids."
