"An absolutely wonderful stay! Worth every word I'm about to write. **Facilities:** The amenities are incredibly thoughtful and refined. There's a courtyard, and you can dry clothes on the rooftop. We happened to catch a light rain, and if you don't mind, you can just sit in the courtyard and listen to it fall – very pleasant. **Breakfast:** We heard the breakfast is made by 'Auntie,' and you can truly taste the local flavors. I highly recommend the 'Mai Xia' (shrimp and wheat noodles, I assume). **Hygiene:** Absolutely spotless, no complaints whatsoever. **Environment:** The hotel is a guesthouse converted from an old building, with a bookstore in the front and the guesthouse behind. It's beautifully laid out and I loved it. You can also sit and have tea, which is very relaxing. **Service:** This is where I really want to elaborate. The service was the most delightful surprise. I'm used to the standardized service of five-star hotels, but this time I wanted a change of scenery and chose this place for its location and cultural features. The service, however, truly astonished me. Unlike typical hotel service, this place offers a warmth that feels more like trust between family and friends. Let me list a few points: 1. They added me on WeChat before check-in. Before we even got out of the car, staff members were sent to meet us at the intersection. 2. On the day of check-in, something in the room triggered my allergies. (Disclaimer: I am allergic to certain things, but my travel companion had no reaction, so the room itself wasn't the issue.) I initially thought I'd just tough it out, but around 10:30-11 PM, I noticed my allergy worsening. On a whim, I messaged the owner via WeChat. To my surprise, an employee was sent to check on me in less than 2 minutes and even accompanied me to look at other rooms to see if there was one that wouldn't trigger my allergies. This truly amazed me. Not every hotel (including five-stars) can offer such a quick response and professional service. 3. On check-out day, I went to Ziyang Street next door to buy pastries. Just as I stepped out, it started pouring rain. The owner immediately called me, but I missed the call. They then sent a WeChat message asking if I needed an umbrella delivered. This message felt incredibly heartwarming. Even though I had my own raincoat, their thoughtfulness made me feel like they treat guests as cherished friends. There's not much to photograph inside the room, but here are three pictures of the view from the window and rooftop. Absolutely loved it! 😊 I will definitely come back to visit again when the weather cools down!"

"The room is equipped with free bottled water, drinks, ear-mounted coffee, and tea bags, which can be taken on demand. The windows are large and have good lighting. It may be that the window of the special room and the corner room can see each other, but the privacy is not good. The mattress is medium firm and comes with earplugs and eye masks. I am particularly satisfied with the bathroom. The sliding door of the shower room will not be stuck by the foot towels, and water will not leak out and wet the floor. Free parking."

"The environment is excellent. For a hotel under 500 RMB, the decor and layout are very satisfactory. The location is also decent, quite close to Ziyang Street. There are plenty of local snacks nearby. The biggest plus is the breakfast – very plentiful and thoughtfully prepared, including all local specialties, saving us lazy people a lot of effort in exploring different restaurants. The service is acceptable, considering it's Atour Hotel and not expensive, we can't expect too much. Overall, I'm satisfied."

"Our family stayed at Yushanji throughout the May Day holiday. First off, the location is super convenient! You step right out onto the busiest part of Ziyang Street. The plaza right outside is perfect for kids to run around and play, and there are even performances. It's also very close to Rong Xiaoguan, Jiujiu Seaweed Cakes, and Zhaimen, plus there's an underground parking garage, so it's great if you're renting a car and driving to the hotel. The design and service are excellent. It's warm, welcoming, and they're always happy to help with anything. The hotel's public areas are designed like a big living room, and there's even a relatively private calligraphy room and tea room, all free to use. All the staff are incredibly friendly and can even help book popular restaurants and purchase Jiujiu Seaweed Cakes on your behalf."

"This guesthouse is relatively new and perfectly situated right by Ziyang Street, making it incredibly convenient to step out for a stroll and grab a bite anytime in the evening. The room comes with a Xiaodu smart device, which is quite handy. The entire place was spotless, providing a wonderful living experience. The auntie's breakfast was made with fresh ingredients and tasted delicious. She mentioned that the wonton filling is made from meat bought fresh every morning, and there were also some homemade Linhai local snacks (I forgot the name). There's even a small garden on the rooftop – it’s a lovely spot to chat and relax in the cool breeze. The guesthouse also boasts a gym and laundry room, which is quite a rare find. Although I didn't get to use them this time, they looked very well-maintained. Overall, it offers great value for money. If you're visiting Ziyang Street, I'd definitely recommend staying here."

"To maximize the chance of a good night's sleep, I chose Yuanzhou over a B&B. While the hotel is a bit old, the cleanliness is acceptable. The mattress is comfortable for me, and the air conditioning is quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep. The evening noodle soup provided by the hotel is made to order, generously proportioned, and delicious. The souvenirs are also very practical. The hotel staff are very polite, and the room I booked was upgraded. Five stars! Keep it up!"

"The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Linhai Station, in a lively area. The rooms are large, but the service is average. They provide very few tissues; when I asked the cleaning lady, she was reluctant to give me any. When I asked at the front desk if food could be heated, the receptionist answered in detail, but she was looking at her computer the whole time and didn't look up, which felt a bit disrespectful. I've had black rice cakes for breakfast for two days in a row, which is disappointing. The sand garlic and bean noodles at the fifth-floor Chinese restaurant are delicious."

Before I even left Zhoushan, they contacted me via WeChat to inquire about my estimated arrival time and turned on the air conditioning in advance. Upon arrival, since cars couldn't be driven to the entrance, the butler and his assistant were waiting at the alleyway entrance, creating a feeling of welcoming guests home. The room was tastefully decorated, and entering the courtyard instantly calmed my restless heart. Located next to the famous Ziyang Ancient Street, the guesthouse is a perfect oasis of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle. The ”cat butler's” calm demeanor was infectious, making me passively quiet down. I couldn't help but fall in love with this place and with Linhai. The butler and his assistant's tone of voice was also very calming. I highly recommend staying for a few days; it's a true cultivation of one's character."
