"The room was spotless, comfortable, and spacious, offering a cozy and quiet retreat. All the facilities were complete and in excellent working order, with the Wi-Fi and hot water being particularly impressive! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right in a building to the left of Weihai Station's exit. It's about a ten-minute walk to Hanlefang, and getting to Weihai Bus Station or Weihai Coach Terminal for the tourist bus lines is a breeze. This makes it super easy to visit attractions like Liugong Island, Maotou Mountain, Nashanghai, the Bluevessel, Chengshantou, and city sights such as Weihai Park and Huoju 8th Street. The staff, including the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and security, were all incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. Full marks! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Weihai!"

The front desk staff were very helpful; during check-in, a young man was a bit new to the process, but a colleague quickly stepped in to assist, and everything was handled efficiently. "I asked for a non-smoking room, and I think that the hotel did give me one. But there is something everyone should know about who goes to China. Many still smoke indoors, even near kids. No room is truly free from smoke, I imagine. My room had a weak smell of smoke, and that scent was in all the places, from the lobby and lifts to the corridor. Still, the hotel staff were friendly and kind throughout my stay. Talking to them may be difficult if you do not speak Mandarin, as most staff know a little English, but a translation app helps a lot. They were all kind and happy to help. This was my first trip to Weihai, and the trip was for a friend’s wedding in one of the hotel’s halls. So, the spot was quite good for the event. If you go to Weihai just to see sites or other fun spots, you might want to look at other places to stay. That said, the hotel has a sweet sea view and parks by the sea, which is nice for a slow walk and some clean air."

"I specifically chose to visit the seaside during the off-season, partly to scout it out for future trips. On my first day, I booked a guesthouse right by the sea, but I wanted to change places the very day I checked in. The next day, I decisively moved to this hotel across the road, and the comfort level was incomparable. The decor is simple yet elegant, the room is spacious, and the cleanliness is excellent. They have 24-hour hot water, and the amenities are very comprehensive, exactly as pictured and described. The several housekeepers and the manager are all very kind and happy to answer any questions. It’s a three-to-five-minute walk to the beach, where the water is clear and looks shallow and very calm. There’s also a scenic mountain trail nearby for hiking. The seagulls here are probably used to being fed; they gather on the beach and don't seem to want to leave. And neither did I! I ended up extending my stay here for another week."

Then I stumbled upon a comment suggesting that in Weihai, one should choose local brands, so I booked this one. Honestly, I was a bit nervous because of the low price, but it turned out to be amazing value for money! For a 400-yuan hotel, the service was exceptional, comparable to a five-star hotel. Special thanks to Sister Zhang Li and security guard Xiao Wang for their warm and thoughtful service; they even let us borrow sand-digging tools. The breakfast was incredibly rich and diverse. The hotel has three restaurants, making it a top choice for families with kids who don't want to venture out. Plus, it's right opposite Weigao Plaza, within walking distance to the beach football field, and convenient for getting to other places. If you're unsure about anything, the hotel staff provides very detailed recommendations. My kid said we should definitely stay here again next time we visit!"

"My stay at the Kowloon Metropark Hotel was fantastic, from the hotel service and room facilities to the breakfast, everything was excellent. A big thank you to all the hotel staff and especially to Butler Ren, room number 27, for their warm hospitality. "My stay at the Atour Hotel Weihai was truly excellent this time around. The location is a huge plus, right next to Happiness Gate, and you can step right out to the sea. It's so convenient for walks and enjoying the sea views, and the night scenery is beautiful too. The hotel overall is clean and tidy, and the room decor is cozy, giving you a sense of quiet comfort and being well looked after. The bedding is super comfortable, and I slept really soundly. The service also deserves a special mention; the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to details. Amenities were complete, hygiene was spot on, and breakfast was abundant – I usually skip breakfast, but I couldn't resist here! For my two-night, three-day stay, on the second day they even brought four bottles of water and two bottles of honey black tea. That's why I booked two nights in Yantai and five nights in Qingdao. Atour is definitely a brand you can trust."
