"Don't be fooled by the name 'resort village,' it's more like a guesthouse with a nice environment. We went there with our kids during the May Day holiday. I didn't pay close attention and thought it was a hotel with plenty of public areas. In reality, it's located in a villa complex, basically a collection of villas. The decor is like an all-season style, and while the price is usually around two to three hundred, it shot up to almost a thousand during May Day. We stayed for two nights. It's newly renovated, so the facilities are quite new, and it's very clean. They offer one-on-one butler service, and they respond quickly if you need anything delivered. The breakfast is pretty standard, but then again, many hotels in Zhoushan don't even offer breakfast."

"I made a last-minute decision to go to Mount Putuo for blessings. Even though it wasn't peak season, hotel prices were still quite shocking~ I saw this new Marriott property, and the location was excellent. The price after a group discount on Friday, plus an extra 150, was quite reasonable~ The front desk upgraded me to an executive room on the 21st floor, and the view was indeed fantastic, overlooking both mountains and the sea~ After checking in, I went for a stroll on Xiaogan Island. The scenery was lovely and very chill. Unfortunately, I had to rush back the next day~ I'll definitely consider staying here again next time~"

"This hotel offers great value for money. I'd recommend avoiding ground-floor rooms as they can sometimes feel a bit damp. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and well-maintained. They come equipped with a washing machine and dryer, and a key detail is that they even provide disinfectant – it's these small touches that make a difference, and many hotels don't offer this. Late check-out is available until 2 PM. There's a pedestrian street right next door, so finding meals is no problem. The ancient city is also within walking distance. Recommended!"

"The waters around Zhoushan have been so blue lately! I booked this hotel for a friend because I've personally stayed here several times before. Its location is super convenient – just about a five-minute drive from the airport, and the Putuoshan ferry terminal is right across the street. It's also close to the beach. The hotel staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I truly hope they continue to maintain such high standards!"

"There are comments about various problems with environmental sanitation services. As for my personal stay this time: When checking in, the front desk receptionist spoke softly and gently, and was very polite throughout the whole process. After checking in, another handsome guy showed the way and introduced the unmanned supermarket next to it, which was convenient for self-service purchase of snacks and drinks. Room hygiene: Very clean and tidy. The items were also neatly organized. There was a very retro letter on the desk. Because I came here for business and didn’t have time to eat breakfast, I didn’t have a choice, so I didn’t comment. Room service: There was nothing to clean. "I stayed here from Dec 24–26, 2025. Overall the hotel was comfortable and clean. I gave it high marks for cleanliness and a good score for service and facilities, which reflects my experience. The room was tidy and the free hot breakfast was a nice touch, making mornings easier. The staff were generally friendly and helpful when asked questions. However, one downside was the location felt a bit spread out from the main shopping and eating streets. I found myself walking quite a long way to get to stores, restaurants, and local sights, which was tiring, even though there are places nearby, they’re not always as close as I expected."

"Booked a month in advance, it belongs to Dongsha Resort. The room is fully equipped and is a natural bar where you can stroll around and have fun. I bought breakfast next to Pinxiayuan for 48 yuan per person, which is good value for money. It has everything. I ate it for two days and the pumpkin and noodles are especially delicious. Opposite the hotel is the Westin Hotel, and across the Westin is Dongsha Beach, which costs 35 yuan per person and is suitable for traveling with children. Next time I come, I will book here again."
