"First, the positives: The breakfast was fantastic, and the coffee was great, which is a rare find at this price point. The room had a kettle, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to the Old Port. The lobby offered free coffee and croissants. I was really worried about service staff in France only speaking French, but everyone at this hotel spoke excellent English. Now for the issues I encountered: Initially, I was given a room on the fourth floor. When I pulled back the covers, I found a significant amount of hair on the pillows, which seemed to be a mix of human and animal hair (this hotel is pet-friendly). Lifting the duvet revealed even more hair, making it seem like the cleaning staff hadn't changed the bedding at all. The front desk immediately offered me another room on the same floor. After moving my luggage, I still found a small amount of hair when I pulled back the covers in the new room. I then asked the front desk for a fresh set of sheets and duvet covers. They offered to move me again, this time to a room on the 6th floor. This room was much better, but the pillowcases had yellow stains on all four corners. I requested new pillowcases from the front desk and changed them myself. One minor concern: The hotel isn't on the main street and is a bit close to the train station, which made me slightly uneasy walking around at night."

"I booked this hotel in a rush, seeing a 4.5 rating on Ctrip. Environment: First of all, the hotel's location is very convenient, right in the old port, with a view of the pier from the window – the view is okay. Transportation is convenient, very close to the train station. The staff were very warm and attentive, five-star service. The following is for those who value cleanliness: The hotel's cleanliness was disappointing, which was my top priority for accommodation. The facilities did not match the price and four-star standard. For example, the wall materials in the room clearly needed replacement or renovation; they weren't just old, there was obvious dirt on the walls, which was very unpleasant to see while lying in bed. The hairdryer was heavily dusty. The toilet bowl had a yellowish tinge, making it unusable. The window faces the harbor, but the curtains offered virtually no light blocking. They were single-layered fabric in very bright colors, waking you up immediately."

"The hotel is a bit tired, but the bed and linens are good, there's a warm, beautiful pool, and the location is excellent: two minutes from the metro, ten minutes from a large shopping center, and five minutes from the embankment. We didn't try the breakfast."

"I think the location is a plus, and the hotel staff provided good service. The breakfast was also good with a nice view, and the staff even helped prepare coffee. The bathroom was spacious, but many things were broken. The drain in my room had issues, sometimes leaking water all over the floor. The metal toilet paper holder next to the toilet suddenly fell off, which startled me. The shower screen had a faulty seal at the bottom, preventing it from closing properly. The bathroom lights also flickered constantly, suggesting unstable voltage. My colleague, who was traveling with me, had a broken AC in their room the first night and had to switch. The second night, the replacement room lost power in the middle of the night, forcing them to grope in the dark to switch rooms again. Compared to their experience, my issues seem minor."

"Cleaning ladies were demonstrating 53 days in front of the hotel when I arrived. The rotating door was covered with mud and confetti, while the black women danced to loud African beats. A complete shock! They continued during my stay… The front desk was super helpful after I contacted their manager. My flight was delayed and I arrived a day late so they managed to modify my reservation without extra payment. My card didn’t work so I gave a cash deposit and they sent me an email when my suitcase that had been delayed arrived (so as not to wake me up). The housekeeping was average- twice they didn’t restock the water. Once they forgot a cleaning chemical. Another time they didn’t restock the decaffeinated capsules. Also they could have been more generous with the toilet paper. It’s the very thin recycled one, that goes fast. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant spacious, with a garden overlooking the marina. The room was large, modern and quiet, with an amazing view of the harbor, including both sunsets and sunrises! I even saw the incredible half an hour long fireworks for Bastille day right under my window! The bed is big and comfortable, pillows a bit too soft, lighting is good but there are no toiletries (which was initially problematic due to the lost luggage). Room service wasn’t available the only night that I wanted to order it - due to Bastille day celebrations. The QR code don’t work on my phone so I had to call the reception to order. Also there was no alcoholic drinks listed, plus I had no fridge in the room, so I couldn’t fully relax and enjoy my holiday. The hotel doesn’t have a spa, which is a shame. So I made a reservation online and got a massage in the Hammam spa a few minutes from the hotel)very expensive and not great). The closest one to the hotel was closed. The pool is gorgeous but in another building which requires another elevator to be taken at the ground floor. A bit of a hassle…The gym is basic but good. Gets pretty busy and dirty at the end of the day. There are many nice restaurants nearby and even a small Proxi shop. There is a bus stop 1min away, that goes to the Terrace du Port. And the taxi conveniently dropped me off right in front of the hotel. The Mucem and Cosquer caves visible from the hotel, are a bit pleasant 25min walk away and the well worth the visit. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, and would come again if the above issues were resolved."

"This hotel in the Old Port actually provided slippers, and they were surprisingly good quality – we ended up taking them with us for our next hotel. Our triple room had a small balcony with a view of the Old Port, which was beautiful both at dusk and in the early morning. There's a pretty large Carrefour supermarket nearby. The hotel doesn't have its own parking, so you'll need to park in the Carrefour underground lot, which is just a two to three-minute walk to the hotel."

"To be honest, we were quite disappointed with how old the room is. The vibe is very dull and even the air-conditioner looks like it was from the 90s. But the good thing is they have their private parking (need to pay another €15 per day) so that we can park our car inside and feel safer. However, I dont think we will be back the next time. The pictures we seen online are totally different lol."
