"Had a very enjoyable stay at Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal and close to many restaurants, cafes, and shopping options. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making the experience even more pleasant. The breakfast had a good variety of local and international options, and everything was well prepared. Overall, this is a great hotel for both families and short weekend getaways. While some room service standards appear to have been reduced following the opening of the newer Swiss-Belhotel next door, the hotel still offers a convenient location, comfortable rooms, and a pleasant stay. With its accessibility and overall value, it remains a good choice for visitors to Batam."

"SERVICE WAS SUPERB - booked this short trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the team really went ABOVE AND BEYOND. We arrived slightly earlier than check in time and were prepared to wait but right from the getgo, Ayu who checked us in - was all smiles and even stepped out from behind her counter (she did not have to) to wish us a Happy Anniversary and to let us know that the hotel prepared a small surprise for us. We went to the room and were greeted with the LOVELIEST note and towel art, and mirror art which we could not even bear to wipe away by the lovely Amel. All the staff there were really very smiley right from the entrance all the way to housekeeping. Food in the hotel was great - room service as well as breakfast buffet. Breakfast was a mix of local food, indomie (!!!), eggs station and assortment of western and pastries too! My favourite was the fresh juices, tea and eggs station! It was a nice spread! Amel received us at breakfast on Day 2 and 3 and even prepared a special meal for us - it was really yummy and THOUGHTFUL and the icing on top was when the entire team came out to sing us a song (with a guitar and the full works :')) and the cake on Day 3! We are sold to come back to only 4 Points Sheraton Batam for life every time we visit because they really made us feel so so welcomed and special."

AAnonymous UserI've stayed at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Batam twice this year, in February and May 2026, and once again, the experience exceeded expectations. This time, I booked an Executive Twin room for my mother-in-law and her friend for a short getaway from 30 May to 1 June 2026. The location is excellent—directly opposite Grand Batam Mall, making shopping, dining, and entertainment incredibly convenient. The hotel is also right next to Eska Wellness Spa, where guests can enjoy massages, hair treatments, manicures, and pedicures, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Even before arrival, the service was impressive. I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp regarding a few special requests, and the staff were professional, responsive, and genuinely accommodating throughout the process. Some highlights of the stay included: • Spacious and spotlessly clean room • Comfortable beds that provided a good night's rest • Hot and cold water dispensers available at every lift lobby • Smart TV with access to Netflix, YouTube, and other entertainment options • Excellent breakfast spread with a wide variety of local and international selections • Complimentary hi-tea, which was a delightful surprise and made the afternoons even more enjoyable What truly sets this hotel apart is its people. Every staff member—from the front desk and housekeeping team to the chefs, waiters, and bellboys—provided exceptional service with warmth, professionalism, and genuine friendliness throughout the stay. My mother-in-law and her friend did not have the opportunity to use the hotel facilities such as the swimming pool and gym during this stay, so we are unable to comment on those. However, based on their overall experience, they truly enjoyed every moment here and appreciated the comfort, convenience, and hospitality provided. MMimyoTravelsOverall, really really satisfied with this place! Booked this hotel with my family of 4. Firstly, the room we book is definitely big enough of all of us :) To be able to have dinner on a table, and having 2 toilets, is really great! SUPER big shoutout to the hotel breakfast - it is one of the best I've ever seen. Absolutely huge, and have probably everything you may expect of a southeast asian breakfast :) Regarding location, yes there are not a lot of things you can do within walking distance, but there is a small mini mart just 3 minutes walk away if you want to grab some snacks or drinks. They also provide shuttle bus service to some selected malls - which is great! We did use this service to Grand Batam Mall :) You will have to inform the concierge beforehand just so they can make sure the mini bus will have enough seats for everyone. However, a slight disappointment happened after - after we arrived at Grand Batam Mall, the driver asked if we would like a ride back later (which is so kind of him), I told him I'm not so sure yet - if I'll need one, I'll send a Whatsapp to their front desk. 30 minutes before I decided to book the mini bus back, I sent a Whatsapp which no one replied, so ended up booking a gojek back to the hotel 30 minutes later. Which makes me wonder if what was the point of the hotel having a Whatsapp haha! It would have been nice if someone replied, even if rejecting me for last minute booking, which I am totally fine with :) Nonetheless, thats the only small point I think the hotel can improve on. The rest of the staff are SOOOO friendly!!! The facilities in the hotel (gym, pool, restaurants) are also clean, looks new, and high end as these are shared facilities with the neighbouring Wyndham Panbil (5 stars). I will 100% recommend everyone to come here, and I would love to return again some day ^^

CC CyrilRoom is spacious. Cleanliness -neat and tidy. However, I will rate it as fair. Reason : Despite staying at the non-smoking level, the smoky smell lingers in the air( room, corridor......etc). I am unsure of the reason . Could it be due to the air-conditioning unit? Breakfast provided - Indonesia- style. Some dishes were tasty. Service- Superb!Staff are friendly and courteous. CChrichillI had a wonderful stay at the hotel with my husband and son, where I celebrated my birthday. The room was clean and comfortable, and all staff were courteous and attentive. Special thanks to the General Manager, Mr. Bart, for being kind and approachable. It is no wonder the team is excellent under your leadership. Thank you as well for the complimentary drinks. I also commend Pritty for her excellent service at the restaurant. The food was very good, especially the carbonara. I truly appreciate the thoughtful birthday greeting from Zamzam, Noven, Aura, and the rest of the team. Thank you to the front desk and all staff for the warm hospitality.

EEnderrThe biggest issue was the constant stream of ants. Even though they were tiny, it was quite off-putting. I had my laptop on the desk, then moved it to the bed, and at least four ants were crawling on it. The beachfront villa was decent, but it faced west, so no sunrise views. The shuttle service was on-call and very prompt, but the location is quite remote. In the evenings, it's hard to get around, even with Grab, unless you're eating at the hotel. If you're looking to just stay put, it's a good choice. However, I enjoy having some barbecue at night, so two nights here was enough for me.

The hotel facilities and environment perfectly suited all my needs, making the stay both relaxing and enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious be it the breakfast or the weekly Saturday BBQ and the hotel had such a vibrant atmosphere with events that made the experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Felix! Who went above and beyond throughout our stay. From recommending great dinner spots to even assisting us with purchasing gifts, his thoughtful service really made us feel well taken care of. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated and genuine—thank you, Felix! What stood out most was the warm hospitality from every staff member we encountered. No matter where you go in the hotel, you’re always greeted with a bright smile that makes you feel at home. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. GGuest UserI was disappointed with the room service and housekeeping. The used food plates and trays were left outside my room for an entire day. Even after I called to request that they be cleared, no one came to collect them promptly. Seeing dirty dishes left in the corridor for such a long period was unpleasant and did not meet the standard I expected. I hope the hotel improves its housekeeping response time and attention to guest requests.

Hotel offers complimentary pickup transport to and fro Sekupang ferry terminal. Only found on my last day staying there that the hotel also offers transport to Grand Batam Mall.
