"The hotel's location is excellent, situated between two subway stations, both about a 6-7 minute walk away. It's a direct, two or three stop subway ride from Nagoya Station, and getting to other attractions is also very convenient. The room size is decent, a bit larger than other hotels I've stayed in. A special thanks to Ms. Mishima at the front desk; she was incredibly helpful, assisting me over two days with bus routes to various destinations. Overall, a very pleasant stay."

"This hotel is located at Nagoya Sakae Station, with direct subway access from its basement (B1). The front desk is on the 24th floor, and breakfast is served on the 7th floor. There's also a supermarket and a drugstore downstairs! Definitely recommend it!"

"I can only say that the price we paid when booking 2 months in advance was somewhat justified for this hotel. The exterior looks decent, but the inside is very old and worn. My biggest complaint is about the escalator. Since the front desk is on the second floor and we arrived around 2 PM, the escalator was only going down 😓. There were stairs next to it, but our luggage was too heavy for us girls to carry up. After searching for a long time, we found that if you want to use the elevator, you have to go through the main entrance, then turn left and follow a 'secret' path. There's a button 🔘 at the entrance; press it to let the front desk know you're checking in, and they'll open the door! However, when we came back in the evening, the escalator was going up 😓. Maybe we just arrived at the wrong time! Service: The female receptionist's attitude was mediocre, no smile, and she seemed rather unenthusiastic. She felt a bit stern! Facilities: The hot springs ♨️ on the third floor downstairs are quite nice and seem to have been renovated recently. They feel out of place with the old, worn-out hotel! The room facilities themselves are quite complete, but the soundproofing is a bit poor!"

"The location right next to Kanayama Station is super convenient for getting around (I prefer it over Nagoya Station and Sakae). However, because of the single-pane windows, even on the 18th floor, you can still hear the train. Luckily, the noise level stays under 40 decibels, so it won't wake you up. There's also a shuttle bus nearby that goes to the Aeon Atsuta store. From the window, you can see an Aeon store, distant snow-capped mountains, and a little figure holding an umbrella on the roof of the building opposite. The twin beds can be pushed together, but there's a bunch of wires and equipment under the nightstand that prevents it from moving completely. This leaves a gap of about 20cm between the bed and the wall at the head, which is fine for a family of three to sleep comfortably. The mattress is a Simmons, and it's quite comfortable to sleep on, though the pillows are a bit too narrow. The bathroom looks a little older than it actually is, but it's perfectly functional."

The room was comfortable and well-equipped, and the hotel offers useful facilities such as coin laundry and vending machines. The staff were nice, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay."

"The room was awesome!! Very spacious even for a family of 4. Wifi was fast and has youtube channel which kids gave 3 cheers for that. Front desk service was spectacular. We arrived by car and staff already came out to welcome us. And since we were in a rush to return our car, the staff proactively offer to help sent our luggages to our room (luckily we had done the online check in in advance) and I had to say with this money spent, we got 5 star hotel service. Plus the amenities they provided might even better than some 4,5 stars hotel. Location wise, it situated in a 8-10 mins walk from the subway, with convenient stores and pharmacy nearby. However you might find it not that “safe” downstairs since there’s clubs and pubs around. Apart from that, this hotel worths every penny spent. High recommended."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, right across from Tokoname Station. I chose it because I had an early morning flight the next day. There's a big supermarket opposite the hotel, and they even offer free shuttle buses to the airport and Aeon Mall. However, the overall cleanliness of the hotel isn't quite up to par with those in the city center. This might be due to the large number of tour groups staying here. The public bath's cleanliness, in particular, was the worst I've encountered in any Japanese hotel so far."

"Although the hotel is a bit dated overall, its location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Nagoya Station, and the rooms are quite spacious. The service was very thoughtful; on our second stay, they had already opened the connecting door between our two rooms based on our preferences from our first visit and had placed our luggage, which we had stored at the hotel, into the room beforehand."

I booked this room last minute. It's located in the Sakae commercial district, with a convenience store downstairs. The famous Don Quijote store is right outside the hotel. The front desk offers free drinks. The room is quite small, perfectly fine for a single person, but a bit cramped for two.

The facilities were a bit basic, plainer than I expected for a park hotel. The toiletries were quite simple. We booked the King theme, which was 200 yuan cheaper than the Pirate theme, but they felt pretty similar, with the same room layout and everything. The bunk beds were very narrow, only suitable for children under 10. No one informed us about the treasure hunt, and we almost missed it. There are very few dining and shopping options nearby, and even the vending machine items were much more expensive than in the city. Not great value for money. The kids loved it, though.

Asked for a room, got the exact opposite of what I requested. High floor away from lift. So they gave me almost the lowest floor, literally next to the lifts. I booked months in advance, too. The lift itself isn't noisy, but obviously guests are. And sadly these guests were Japanese locals. A family who clearly had zero control over their children. Other problems, the onsen has no cold bath, all three baths are the same temperature, and the reclining bath has no purpose except to allow you to lie down. Plus seeing someone the member of a certain family covered in tattoos is a little frightening for my son. All this despite the signs stating no tattoos. Location is great for metro lines and for the IG Arena, if that's the reason for your visit. I would also appreciate the same manners in English that the staff provide local Japanese. Especially if the staff is already fluent in English. We too have polite ways of speaking to customers.

This hotel is located in a quiet area, with a car park right next to it. I appreciate the 500 yen parking voucher provided by the hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and able to answer all our questions. The hotel offers a bedrock bath and sauna for one complimentary use, but unfortunately, the times I wanted were fully booked, so I recommend booking early. The front desk also offers a variety of amenities, including skincare products and children's body wash, which is very comprehensive. The room design is excellent! It has all sorts of facilities, and it's very convenient for storing belongings. The toilet has a heater, and the kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, coffee maker, and water purifier. The room's design concept is perfect for families, with enough space to accommodate two large suitcases.

Our family, including two elementary school-aged children, stayed here for a room-only plan. The entire room was incredibly spacious. Having separate bedroom and living/dining areas was fantastic, especially in the mornings and evenings, as everyone could go about their routine at their own pace. The furnishings and appliances were top-notch (especially the ReFa hairdryer and shower, and the super comfortable sofa bed). Plus, there were trial appliances available for use, which made our stay even more pleasant. There's a 24-hour convenience store and a food court on the ground floor of STATION Ai, where the hotel is located, and plenty of dining options within walking distance, so we never had trouble finding food. We'd love to stay here again!

I stayed here once in 2019 and loved it so much that I chose it again this time, but it really disappointed me. I asked for bottled water, and a slightly overweight man at the front desk very curtly told me, 'You two, only one bottle per person per day!' I was so angry and asked them to find someone who could speak English. After a long wait, a woman finally came out, looking a bit arrogant. After I explained the situation, she said there was no such rule. I told her I just wanted to clarify who made the rule about one bottle per person per day. I could do without their water, but I needed an explanation! Service: Genuinely poor, can't compare to before.

The location is very close to Nagoya Station, but the area in front of the station is under construction, making the routes confusing. Following navigation generally works, but definitely don't use Chinese navigation apps as they give completely wrong directions. I read online that they offer Chinese service, but don't believe that! We stayed for three days and only encountered a staff member who spoke Chinese on the last night. Otherwise, communication was through a translation device, which was usually pretty basic. The king-size room maintained the typical small and compact Japanese style.

Great location, a few minutes from nagoya station, underground shopping. Hotel has a public bath, quite good the only problem I had was with other guest not removing their shoes. Great restaurants nearby and a Lawson downstairs.

We had a really nice stay at KOKO Hotel. The room was small, which is quite normal in Japan, but it was very comfortable, clean, and well organized. Everything felt practical and easy to use. The staff at the reception were very helpful and kind whenever we needed assistance. The hotel also had the feeling of a proper, well-run hotel, but for a very good price, which made it feel like great value. The shower was also very good, with hot water and strong water pressure. After long days outside, it was a really nice place to come back to and rest. Overall, it is a simple but very comfortable hotel, clean, convenient, and pleasant for spending a few nights. I would definitely recommend it for travelers looking for a good-value stay.

The hotel is quite old but clean and provides good facilities. It’s located perfectly right next to the Nagoya station and in the same building as Meitetsu bus station. So it’s convenient to take a bus continuing to Takayama and other cities without any hassles. Many cafes and restaurants are underground and nearby buildings. I would really recommend this hotel for the stay in Nagoya.
