"We booked a villa with a private pool for 3 nights, and it was the best decision ever! We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. Initially, the jacuzzi wasn't working, but we called reception, and they had someone fix it within 5 minutes. The pool was always sparkling clean, even though stuff was constantly falling from the trees – we still don't know how they managed to keep it so pristine. The breakfasts were delicious, and the beach had beautiful white sand. It was also my birthday during our stay, and the hotel first congratulated me at breakfast, then surprised me by decorating our villa! It was so touching and sweet – that's real attentiveness and care for guests! I wish the hotel all the best and continued success!"

"Stayed in a hillside suite, lovely room and fantastic views. Staff were very friendly always helping with bags and there was a buggy to take up to our room. I rented a bike so got to hotel easy if not it is a little walk to the main area. There is a free shuttle to Sairee beach which is great and also a free shuttle to pier to get a ferry when leaving. The only negative is the pool was quite small and for the price and also would like a gym on site but of course booked knowing there wasn’t a gym so can’t be negative on that! Overall a great stay and would recommend. Thanks"

"I was very excited to stay at this hotel. The room had a wonderful atmosphere, and I was fortunate to receive a room with a high ceiling, which made the space feel even more spacious and airy. The room was also very clean. The only downside was that after spending some time in the room or using the bathroom, a strong sewage odor began to come from the drain. Even with the toilet lid closed, the smell was still quite unpleasant. In terms of transportation, everything was very convenient. You can contact the lobby to arrange transfers around Koh Phangan (for an additional fee). Guests can also access the swimming pool and certain services at other hotels within the same group (additional charges may apply), which makes getting around easier and adds more activities to enjoy. As for the breakfast buffet, there was a wide variety of options available. However, most of the dishes were quite cold, likely because they had been left out for some time. Only the egg station served freshly cooked and warm food."

"I want to leave a review about this hotel. The location is good; the only downside is the loud music in the evening and late into the night coming from the central beach. The room has all the necessary toiletries, including earplugs and razors. The bungalow-style rooms are the best thing here, because overall there are significantly more negatives. The service is not very good — the staff at the reception and in the restaurant seem indifferent. The beach is a bit dirty, with a lot of small stones that make it uncomfortable to walk. The sea is very shallow, and you have to walk quite far to get deep enough to swim. If you just want to lie around and relax like a hippo, it might suit you. The food in the restaurant is of a low standard. The room costs almost $190 per night, but the variety of food is very limited, and the products don’t seem to be of good quality. Cheese at breakfast was even served in its packaging. The only thing that really saves this hotel is the view from the room. We chose an ocean view. The hotel also offers free snorkeling masks."

"Great stay, all of the staff were hard working, and friendly but Catalina, Moe and Aaron were exceptional and a credit to the team. Good location, comfortable room,big pool, plenty of beds, direct access to the beach, fabulous sunsets snd a short walk to Haadrin Walking Street, restaurants and its beach. The only negative was that smoking was permitted around the pool, it would’ve been a more pleasant experience if there were smoking and none smoking areas and it was enforced by staff."

"This hotel is truly European standard with top-notch service. The staff are absolutely amazing, always smiling and making sure you're comfortable in every way. We stayed in a designer room with lounge access. The room was incredibly beautiful and comfortable, and the beds and pillows were a dream for the best sleep. The hotel is located right on the beach, close to all the bars and nightlife, yet it's surprisingly quiet. Breakfasts were beyond excellent. We'll really miss this hotel, the friendly smiles, and the incredible views. It's not a cheap hotel, but it's definitely worth every penny. A few minor downsides: we didn't really see the point of the lounge. Cocktails and good quality spirits were only available from 5 PM to 7 PM. The shower had poor drainage, so we had to wait for the water to go down. We also didn't quite understand why we weren't allowed to check out at 2 PM, especially since our booking confirmation mentioned this option, and the hotel seemed half-empty, with us being the only ones in the lounge most of the time. But these are all minor points compared to the wonderful experience we had."

"My stay at Explorar Hotel was amazing, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great value for money. The staff are very welcoming and truly focused on creating a special experience. Everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. The hotel has a beautiful jungle vibe, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the complimentary minibar and the fresh drinking water provided daily. The pool area is lovely, and the private beachfront is perfect for watching stunning sunsets. The restaurant is also excellent, slightly on the pricier side, but both Thai and Western dishes are delicious. I stayed here solo, and most guests were couples, which is something to keep in mind. Overall, I can highly recommend staying here."

"Eine absolute Empfehlung!!! Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Die Nachtmärkte, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind unter 10 Minuten mit dem Roller erreichbar. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direktem Meerblick aus dem Bett. Die Sauberkeit hat deutschen Standard. Darüber hinaus wurde jeden Tag der Pool, sowie der Hauseigenen Strand gesäubert. Das Bett war auch sehr bequem und groß (ohne Ritze). Es stand kostenlos Trinkwasser zu Verfügung. Das WLAN hat sehr gut funktioniert auch am Strand. Man kann einen sehr guten Roller an der Rezeption für nur 200 Baht/Tag mieten. Am Abreisetag wurden wir auch noch kostenlos vom Hotel zum Hafen gebracht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is great, but you need a scooter or car to get around. Scooters can be rented directly at the hotel (a bit more expensive), and there is also a transfer service – the first ride is free, any further rides are charged. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained, with stylish rooms and a fantastic rooftop pool offering amazing views. The staff are very friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. We didn’t have breakfast, so we can’t comment on that. The only downside was the noise – it’s quite easy to hear other guests in the hallways and rooms, and doors were often slammed shut, which was disturbing at times. Overall, a lovely hotel with great facilities and friendly staff. We would recommend it despite the noise."

GGuest UserA wonderful place for recreation 🫶 lived 2 families from 25 to 30 December in the smallest villa, all this time with us were wonderful Steve and Muhammad. Steve took us all over the island wherever we wanted and took us from anywhere, thank you Steve 🙏Muhammed also took care that our rest was careless, helped to organize the washing, Organized us a tour to the sea 🙏ville clean every day, there is everything necessary for cooking food (we did not prepare TK on the sairi a lot of delicious cafes). I definitely recommend this place for rest, very atmospheric and comfortable, in the surrounding jungle ❤️

SSvtloveartWe arrived with three friends and booked a deluxe room, but another person joined us mid-stay. Upon check-in, they asked for everyone's passports (and made copies), refused to upgrade our room, and also refused to allow all four of us to share the same room. But our friend was lucky; there was one standard room available, so we booked it. Excellent hotel. Breakfast is buffet style, with vouchers, and there are cakes and a variety of desserts. We really enjoyed it.

EErdaogeThe hotel facilities are decent and relatively new, but the service is terrible. The front desk wouldn't even lend me nail clippers, I'm not sure if they're just chronically broke. They charge an extra 3% for card payments and play dumb when it comes to refunds, probably because they used to be food delivery drivers. They arbitrarily canceled my paid diving reservation and changed prices whenever they felt like it, completely lacking credibility. Don't even get me started on the diving; the divemaster is Thai, and you can imagine his English skills. The equipment is very old. I had to go barefoot with the fins, even though I brought shoes that I couldn't use, and ended up getting blisters. The wetsuit was short-sleeved and short-legged, resulting in many scratches, while the divemaster himself wore a full suit and shoes. There was no boat for diving; they subcontracted to Big Bubble dive shop, which is why the price was higher than elsewhere. Where was the boat? 'Under repair,' you know how that goes. Service: I'd give it 0 stars if I could, but there's no option.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at Summer luxury resort! This place is absolutely stunning from the rooms, to the pool, to the restaurant, it really is the full package for such a good price! Our room was HUGE and the bathroom was so spacious and modern! The room even had a sofa and a dressing station with a light up mirror and chair! We spent a lot of our time round the pool which had many seating areas and beds! You can also get drinks served straight to you from the bar! The restaurant had a delicious menu it was so hard to choose what to eat everyday, everything was so fresh! The hotel even helped organise a surprise sunset dinner on the beach for my partners birthday, even bringing out a cake to sing happy birthday, and they decorated the room too! We even got a transfer drop off and pick up from the hotel to the famous full moon party on the island! Not to mention the resort is also on the beach so you can even explore the sea if you wanted! I couldn’t recommend the Summer luxury resort enough, it really was the ultimate luxury stay!!

CClurI had stayed on this beach years ago, and it remained one of my absolute favourites. We decided to splurge and stay at the Buri Rasi this time, and we were not disappointed. The reception staff were great, very professional. The hotel itself is beachfront and has, I would say, the best spot on the beach. We had a pool-view room, and it was spacious and well-equipped. There was enough beds on the beach for everyone, the hotel did happy hour a lot, and sometimes all day, and that included the in-house massages. The breakfast was plentiful, and the pastries, I think, were cooked onsite and also sold in the coffee shop attached. Overall, a lovely spot to stay and relax for 5 days, the surrounding area has enough restaurants and bars if you do want to eat out, but everywhere was competitively priced. The only downside for me was the sea, at this time of year (Dec) the sea was wild and wavey so i couldnt flop about in it all day, as i had done at other times of the year.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Dusita Buncha for 6 days. Our room had a sea and pool view. The room was spacious, but there weren't enough shelves for small items, so all our little things ended up in bags in the corner. The bathroom didn't have a shower screen. We also heard the constant noise of water pumps. They offered us a room on a higher floor, but it had the same issue. Some people might not notice it, but I got used to it over the days. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The fridge and air conditioning were a bit loud, but again, you get used to everything. We ended up sleeping without the AC. The hotel has beautiful grounds, but I wish they'd take better care of them, especially clearing trash and dirt from the pathways. The sea had lots of coral and fish. We took a boat to Nang Yuan islands, which cost 300 baht per person for a round trip. The gym smelled strongly of rubber, so I couldn't use it. Unfortunately, they didn't provide water bottles or towels for our child (6 years old). The staff were friendly and responsive! Dining at the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner was a bit expensive, so we went to neighboring cafes instead. My suggestion would be to create a small kids' room or playground, as there's plenty of space on the hotel grounds. Also, having some board games would be a nice addition.

GGuest UserLocation is the reason why we choose to stay at this hotel.Staffs r all ok on average standard. Hotel has classes to attend if guests want.Free kayak n standup paddle board fr 1 hr n snorkel mark fr rent. Bf has varied selection,has all u needed. What put us off fr entire stay was the smell of waste water or sewage.When we step into our room building we can smell it right away, n when we r in our room as well,forget about sitting on the balcony to enjoy the beach view outside coz we cant sit longer than 20 mins due to the strong ugly smell. We didnt ask to change our room coz we thought that even the whole floor is so smelly like thid then it wouldn’t make any difference to get on higher floor unless we changed our room type to diff building. So we ended up our 3 nights here without any impression aside frm the lovely beach their located. I saw some guests mentioned about this problem but i didnt think it would b this ugly.

MMe around the WorldPleasant stay, deep (and high) in the jungle 💚 If you love green and natures you'll love this place so much The place looks great, but those stairs are very steep. So you need to be quite fit In the room, you have king size bed with 4 pillows. Good air-conditioner to cool the place down during the day. Free bottle of water and Coca cola. Kettle pot to make hot coffee & tea. Also 55 inches TV with free movies, music, YouTube & Netflix! A good big bench to sit next to the big window also. Toilet is good condition just the pressure of water not strong enough for me. A few things that I didn't like. 1. You bought a ocean view room but I don't have the view because the staff put me in the first room hidden by the forest 😆 So the tall trees just cut my view. And she said, this room has no view but air conditioner works very well and you will have no problem with the sun shine in the morning (probably because of the trees) but I still wanted my ocean view. So if the hotel owner doesn't plan to cut the tree to have an ocean view, then...please consider change the room name. 2. Cleanliness of pillow case. It smells pretty bad like กลิ่นอับชื้น first I thought it's from my dirty clothes but apparently it was not. It was the smell of the pillow. It smelled like a clothes that you dry it without sun...so after I found out about the smell from the pillow. I wasn't sure if it was cleaned or not after that last checked out. 3. Used soap is at the sink after I checked in. You should clean up everything new before giving the room to new customer. But there is only 1 lady staff who take care of these 8 rooms so I guess if it full every day. It's hard to go up and down those stairs to do everything by herself. The rest is good, just make sure you improve about the cleanliness. Thank you !! Taxi service in the morning to the port at 8 am 250 baht to the make staff. Thank you !!

Massive bath and some rooms even have outdoor shower! - nice reception service - special thanks to Yok for the help and service ! - nice pool, gym, dry sauna and stream room Cons: - quite far a way from the city and places with action. even on a motorbike it's quite a ride. - house keeping service should be improved - if you are in a delux room area, the house keeping team is camping there half a day, which kills the privacy and quiet environment. i think the resort can easily improve this I think this would be good for couples and maybe families for a few days. Just remember this area is not very walkable, so you'll need to order a car everywhere or rent a motorbike.

JJoPutthalaPros : - Good hotel : start to be old but totally fine. - Staff was very kind (especially for breakfast ! Always smiling). - For those that think the hill is the problem, just take the scooter next to the room, restaurant and swimming pool is a good idea if you don't want to climb. - Amazing view - I got free late check out after my morning boat was cancelled. Very kind from them. Cons : - No tv in rooms, - They don't really remove leaves from the swimming pool, - You can try to call them... No one pick up the phone (I called literally 30 times at the pier to get a shuttle for 100thb/pers) Cause the fake ”taxi” was 500thb for 2kms. The reason : the front desk (where the phone is) is closed so the reception is at the restaurant (but no phone there). They could transfer calls to a mobile phone... But no. - It was written that there was a free shuttle going to the pier at 4pm... I was expecting to see it arriving at 4:20-30pm.. nothing came.
