A studio apartment sits on a hill. You will have to walk up stairs from the parking oad and a grassy hill (can be considered a mildly steep incline). Its also within a short walking or driving distance of three private beaches in our community. There is 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, spacious bathroom and closet. The living room has a pull out full size bed and a kitchenette. Coffee, teas, beach chairs, cooler, fishing poles and tackle are provided. On the beach, search for shark’s teeth from prehistoric sharks that lived in the Chesapeake Bay.* Guests should be aware that there are jellyfish in the Chesapeake Bay in the summer (typically July and August but can be as early as June and late as early September if it’s very hot and dry). They like warm, salty waters so their numbers vary with the rain and tides. Sometimes, there aren’t many jellyfish, depending on time of day or current, but other times there are a lot. And if it has recently rained, they get pushed out to sea and there are none. It is out of our control and really luck of the draw. We recommend to our guests to bring sting-protective sunscreen (available on Amazon) and long sleeve and swim pant swimwear. *Living Room & Kitchen (w/ complimentary coffee and tea):Inside, unwind in the spacious living and dining areas, complete with breathtaking bay views.
